Waste Compression Pressure Description
The present invention relates to a press mechanism for compacting waste. The basic elements of the press mechanism consist of a press plunger as well as a base plate, each moving horizontally forward (plus) and back (minus), inside a press chamber.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
From WO 2004/090820 A1 a waste compactor is known which can be built into a shaft or vertical pipe. The compactor comprises a compactor plate and a compaction chamber with retention. The compactor has a movable bottom (base plate). Inlets in the compactor chamber are made vertically, and ejections from the compactor chamber are also vertical. The movements of the compactor plate and the bottom are synchronized with each other. The waste compactor also has a top plate which closes the throw-in so that waste does not accidentally fall out of the compactor chamber when the compactor plate and the movable bottom plate are retracted. The waste compactor is designed so that the bottom plate cannot completely seal off the compactor's draft, while the compactor plate is fully retracted. If the compactor is not equipped with a top plate, there is a risk that the discarded waste could continue uncompressed through the draft.
From AU 747653 B2 there is known a through press for compressing waste. The pass-through press has a press chamber arranged to receive waste through a throw-in opening and then release the waste through a throw-through opening. The pass-through press also has a movable mounted press piston and a movable mounted base plate. The pass-through press has a first actuator arranged and arranged to move the plunger, and a second actuator arranged and arranged to move the base plate, thus acting as a holding plate.
The object of the invention
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The through-press comprises a press chamber adapted to receive waste through a throw-in opening and release the waste through a throw-out opening, a movable mounted press plunger and a movably mounted bottom plate, the through-press comprises a first actuator arranged and arranged to move the press-plunger and a second actuator press arranged and arranged to move the base plate. The two actuators of the flow press are arranged to move the plunger and the bottom plate in parallel directions. In one embodiment, the through press comprises a housing and a fixed mounting bracket therefor. In a particular embodiment, the pass-through press comprises a closure plate adapted to be placed in a position where the closure plate closes for the inlet opening.
The through-press is arranged to move the press plunger and bottom plate in such a way that waste placed in a press chamber is stopped downwardly by the bottom plate, while the press plunger compresses the waste, after which the bottom plate is moved to a position where the waste is released and thereby falls out through the discharge opening. The waste is placed or landed on the bottom plate, inside the press chamber. The base position of the base plate is in the plus position. In a particular embodiment, the press plunger is arranged to be moved tightly across the bottom plate while the press plunger is used for compacting waste.
The waste enters the press chamber via the throw-in hole. Then the plunger is pressed horizontally against the waste. The plunger moves from minus to plus. The waste is thus compressed between the press plunger and the back of the press chamber. When compression has been completed, the plunger returns to its initial position (minus). The press plate also moves in the minus position. As a result, the support for the waste disappears and the compacted waste can fall into the underground waste container.
The transfer of power to the plunger and the bottom plate takes place using one or more linear actuators, depending on the power requirement.

Detailed description of the invention
The invention is described in greater detail below with reference to the figures.
FIG. 1A illustrates a schematic side view of a flow press 2 according to the invention, while FIG. 1B shows a schematic view of the one shown in FIG. 1A, the through press 2 shown in perspective is inclined from above. The pass-through press 2 comprises a first actuator 4 'connected to and arranged to move a press piston 8 towards a stop 18. The pass-through press 2 further comprises a second actuator 6 connected to and arranged to move a base plate 10 against the stop 18. 14 to a press chamber 12. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1A and FIG. In the configuration shown in IB, the through press 2 is ready for waste / landing waste to be laid on the base plate 10.
FIG. 2A illustrates a schematic view of the through press 2 shown in FIG. 1A in a side view, in a configuration where the plunger 8 is pressed down against the retainer 18 and the bottom plate 10 is directed all the way to the retainer 18. FIG. 2B illustrates a schematic view of the one shown in FIG. 2A is a perspective view of the through-out press 2 seen from above. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2A and FIG. 2B, the plunger by means of actuators 4 ', 6 is pushed horizontally towards the back of the press chamber 12.
FIG. 3A illustrates a schematic view of the through press 2 shown in FIG. 1A and FIG. 2A is a side view, in a configuration where the plunger 8 is pushed back into the starting position and the bottom plate 10 is placed in the emptying position. FIG. 3B illustrates a schematic view of the one shown in FIG. 3A is a perspective view of the flow press from above.
The one shown in FIG. 3A and FIG. 3B is an emptying configuration in which the through press 2 is ready to be emptied of compressed waste. Emptying is done by pulling the plunger back into the starting position (marked with minus in Fig. 1A) by means of the actuators, while the bottom plate is withdrawn in the minus position (see Fig. 1A).
FIG. 4A illustrates a schematic view of the one shown in FIG. 1A is a perspective view diagonally from below, and FIG. 4B illustrates a schematic view of the one shown in FIG. 1A, the through press 2 shown in perspective is inclined from above. It will be seen that the through-press 2 comprises two first actuators 4, 4 'arranged parallel to one another. It is further apparent that through-press 2 comprises a housing 22 to which the retainer 18 is attached. Furthermore, the actuators 4, 4 ', 6 of the through-press are attached to the housing 22.
The advantage of using a pass-through press 2 for waste compression is that it is possible to compress every single partition that enters the waste container.
By coordinated application, two single-axis mechanisms (press piston 8 and bottom plate 10) can achieve a full compression sequence.
