Indicator
The invention relates to an indicator for indicating the inclusion of Os Calcanus; for determining the inclusion of Os Calcanus in, but not limited to, valgus positions, neutral positions, varus positions, medial rotations, lateral rotations, anterior rotations, posterior rotations, and all spatial and temporal combinations thereof; for placement on the skin of the posterior vertical Os Calcaneus center line with a molded or individually adapted shape following the outer contour of the Os Calcaneus; with a molded or individually adapted shape that does not affect the movement or range of movement of the foot or leg or foot joint; can be used both with and without shoes; whereas, despite the fact that Os Calcaneus and the posterior vertical centerline of the bone are invisible inside a closed shoe, the Indicator Os Calcanus shows the inclination correctly; can be used in kinematic and kinetic analyzes in both 2D and 3D which may contain 1 or more than 1 passive reflex markers and active signal markers; that can be used for manual and visual positioning or all types of automatic positioning, including auto-tracking.
The indicator is adapted for use with or without other applications on or in the foot and on or in components thereof; including with or without, but not limited to, external and internal applications and combinations thereof.
including with or without, but not limited to, exoskeletal and endoskeletal applications and combinations thereof.
- including with or without, but not limited to, body replacements or body supplements, dentures, orthoses, bandages, footwear, inserts, foot soles, socks, bandages, tapes, patches, adhesive or loose-fitting applications and combinations thereof.
Function:
The indicator is placed and taped on the posterior vertical Os Calcaneus center line.
Due. the molded shape follows the indicator contour of the foot and can be used both with and without shoes on the foot.
Due. the molded shape does not affect the movement or range of motion of the foot or leg or foot joint.
Where the molded shape affects the movement of the foot or the extent of movement of the foot, the Indicator can be individually adjusted.
Although the Os Calcaneus and the posterior vertical center line are invisible inside a closed shoe, the Indicator Os Calcanus correctly shows the inclination.
The indicator can be used in kinematic and kinetic analyzes in both 2D and 3D.
The indicator's reflex markers and signal markers can be used for manual and visual positioning or all types of automatic positioning, including auto-tracking.
When the indicator is located on the vertical line of the Os Calcaneus, the inclination of the indicator - and thus the inclination and position of Os Calcaneus - is observed in relation to the other structures of the foot and in relation to the inclination and position of the lower leg and in relation to the horizontal plane and the vertical plane.
Inclinations and positions can be observed statically and dynamically and by combinations thereof.
Inclinations and positions can be observed while the body or body parts are stationary. Inclinations and positions can be observed as the body or body parts move linearly.
Inclinations and positions can be observed while the body or body parts do not move linearly.
Inclinations and positions can be observed in all phases of a walking cycle, including both standing and swing phases, regardless of walking style or walking method.
Inclinations and positions can be observed in all phases of a running cycle, including both stand and swing phases, regardless of running style or running method.
Inclinations and positions can be observed at all stages of a jump cycle, including both stand and swing phases, regardless of jump style or jump method.
Inclinations and positions can be observed while the body lands after falling, hovering or flying, regardless of country style or method of landing.
Inclinations and positions can be observed while the body is cycling, regardless of cycling style or cycling method.
Inclinations and positions can be observed at all stages of a cycling cycle, including both with pressure-releasing contact for pedals and with pulling-contact for pedals.
Inclinations and positions can be observed while the body is climbing, regardless of climbing style or climbing method.
Inclinations and positions can be observed when loading or moving over substrates with fixed tread, soft tread, even tread, uneven tread, horizontal tread, vertical tread, sloping tread, resilient tread, split tread.
Inclinations and positions can be observed when loading or moving over treadmills with fixed tread, soft tread, even tread, uneven tread, horizontal tread, vertical tread, inclined tread, resilient tread, split tread.
Inclinations and positions can be observed when loading or moving over a fixed tread, soft tread, smooth tread, uneven tread, horizontal tread, vertical tread, sloping tread, resilient tread, split tread.
Inclinations and positions can be observed when loading or moving over the balance gauge with fixed tread, soft tread, smooth tread, uneven tread, horizontal tread, vertical tread, inclined tread, resilient tread, split tread.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG. 1 is a side view of the indicator according to the invention; FIG. 2 is a rear view of the indicator according to the invention.
In short:
The indicator is placed and taped on the posterior vertical Os Calcaneus center line.
Due. the molded shape follows the contour of the foot and can be used with or without shoes on the foot.
Due. the molded shape does not affect the movement or range of motion of the foot or leg or foot joint.
What is special about the invention
The invention enables an otherwise impossible measurement of a foot's misalignment in the heel in connection with the use of closed footwear that hides the heel.
The most commonly used alternative - and thus far - method consists in the posterior vertical Os Calcaneus' center line being marked with ink or other marking color or marking on the skin. This mark indicates correct Os Calcaneus' inclination, but can only be used barefoot without footwear. With footwear this method cannot be used. Which leaves a great unmet need my invention covers.
What can the invention be used for
The invention can be used for quick and accurate indication of misalignment in the heel of a foot. This indication is a prerequisite for optimal analysis and subsequent optimization of the foot's functionality at standing, walking, running, jumping, landing and jumping in connection with ordinary daily function as well as cycling, climbing and sports as well as treatment of pathology and research.
The invention can be used for repeated assays in connection with quality assurance of interventions in treatment or research as well as in interventions with special applications - including body-worn aids and footwear.
The invention can be used without the use of additional equipment, but also in all forms of automatic inclination or positioning with the use of appliances.
Are there similar ones
My invention was made by me alone several years ago approx. 2003 without inspiration from other invention. My invention is original, although simple. My invention was subsequently used by myself in my private clinic - and has not yet been published. I have just searched for similar invention without finding anything that my invention conflicts with.
