FIELD OF THE INVENTION Lifting device for tie and other heavy objects at drilling pipes on drilling rigs. Ties are used to fix the drill pipe when inserting or removing a pipe segment. Heavy objects are defined as objects with a weight that exceeds applicable standards for manual handling of one person without auxiliary equipment. The invention relates to a lifting device for release on drilling rigs, thus avoiding heavy and manual lifting. In addition, the device can be used for transporting and parking slips and other heavy objects at drill pipes when not mounted on the drilling equipment.
The prior art
There are ties in many sizes. The larger and heavier tie systems with hydraulics and or pneumatics are built in for handling. Today, the smaller ties are handled manually by several operators. There are no solutions that can raise, lower, transport and park slips.
For paving work, curbs and paving stone handling equipment described in BR 200700260 and DK 9300119 U3 are available.
There is a document US 2005/0072882 A1 (MONG, T.E. et al.) 2005.04.07 describing an assembly that is permanently placed at the work site. It can only raise and lower the tie and not carry it. Also, only attachment points are used on one side of the drill pipe.
The unit requires the supply of energy. The unit is clamped around the drill pipe in order to absorb vertical forces.
The particular one achieved by the invention
This invention relates to a device which, in its design and detail solutions combined with a lifting unit, fulfills a need to remove heavy manual lifting when handling the slip. In connection with a lifting unit this can be done without connection to an external power source. Likewise, handling can be done with only one operator.
The device is placed over the tie and the operator attaches it to the tie eyes / operating grips on the tie.
The device can be used for several sizes of ties.
The device can be used for other heavy objects at drill pipes.
By means of the device, tie and other heavy objects at drill pipes can be placed around the drill pipe.
By means of the device, tie and other heavy objects at drill pipe can be lifted away from the drill pipe.
By means of the device, tie and other heavy objects at drill pipes can be safely transported to and from the place of application by only one operator without changing the attachment.
By means of the device, tie and other heavy objects at drill pipes can be placed and parked in a storage place without changing the attachment.
With this device, operators on drilling rigs can reduce manual, heavy lifting when handling slips and other heavy objects at drilling pipes without the supply of external energy sources.
With this device, one operator can handle tie and other heavy items at drill pipes with local equipment.

The new technical means
