Scratch stick device
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a scraping device of the kind used in the scraping of fur animals, including, inter alia, skins from mink and fox.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION In the production of fur animals, the scraping process is essential. For scratching, a scratching stick is usually used around which the skin is applied with the back facing outwards. It is possible to carry out single scrapes or so-called double scrapes, where sawdust can be used which sucks the fat from the back of the skin.
When the scraping process is completed and the skin has to be removed from the scraper, the skin sometimes turns inadvertently, so that the hair side is unwantedly soiled. This is because the scraper has too good a grip on parts of the skin, which thus turns when the scraper is retracted.
From DK 200700067 U3 is known a scraping stick for cleaning of skins. The scraper has a clamping device which holds the skin after scraping. The scraper has a slidable tip and this tip can be brought forward, thereby loosening the skin from the tapered scraper. However, there is a risk that dirt (especially grease and sawdust) may get stuck between the scraper and the sliding tip, whereby the sliding tip can get stuck. Furthermore, when the tip is returned, there is a risk of the skin getting stuck between the tip and the scraper. Furthermore, there is a risk that the skin may turn in subsequent processes.
Thus, there is a need for an alternative to the traditional scraping devices for scratching fur skins.
The object of the invention
The object of the present invention is to provide an alternative to the conventional scraping device.
It is the object of the present invention to provide an improved scraping device which reduces the risk of unintentionally turning scratching skins in connection with the removal of the skin from the scraping stick.
The object of the present invention is achieved with a scraping device as defined in claim 1 and with a scraping stick as defined in claim 9. Preferred embodiments are defined in the subclaims and are explained in the following description and illustrated in the accompanying figures.
The scratching device according to the invention is a scratching device for use in connection with scraping the leather side of fur animals, including the leather side of fur animals from among other things. mink, which scraper device comprises an attachment device located at the end of the scraping device, wherein the scraping device comprises a movably mounted feeding unit and further a first fixing rod and a second fixing rod extending parallel to the first fixing rod, the feeding unit extending between the first fixing rod and fixation rod.
Thus, with a scraping stick device according to the invention, it is possible to reduce the risk of scratching treated skins being inadvertently reversed in connection with the removal of the skin from the scraping stick.
The scraping device according to the invention is a scraping device for use in scraping the leather side of fur animals, e.g. leather side of mink fur. However, the scraping device may be used for other types of fur animals.
The scraping device comprises a movably mounted feed unit which allows the skin to apply force to the skin by mechanical action of the skin.
Thus, it is advantageous that the feed unit is arranged to be brought into a configuration where the feed unit extends relative to the distal end of the scraping device.
The scraping device comprises a first fixing rod and a second fixing rod disposed at the end of the scraping device.
The first fixing rod and the second fixing rod can have any suitable design. It may be advantageous for the first fixing rod and / or the second fixing rod to be rod shaped, e.g. with a cylindrical cross section. The first fixing rod and / or the second fixing rod may advantageously be at least partially tapered so that the first fixing rod and / or the second fixing rod can be more easily fixed in the skin. Thus, the first fixing rod and / or the second fixing rod may be shaped as tapered spikes.
The scraping device comprises a movably mounted feed unit which allows the skin to apply force to the skin by mechanical action of the skin.
Thus, it is advantageous that the feed unit is arranged to be brought into a configuration where the feed unit projects in relation to the first fixing rod and / or a second fixing rod.
It may be advantageous for the movably mounted feed unit to extend parallel to the longitudinal axis of the scraping device.
Hereby, by activating the feeder unit, a force is obtained parallel to the longitudinal axis of the scraping device, so that the risk of uncoated skin being inadvertently reversed in connection with the removal of the skin from the scraping stick is most likely to be effectively reduced.
Hereby is obtained a scraping device suitable for use in the scraping of fur animals.
Advantageously, the first fixing rod and a second fixing rod are arranged for fixation in the two areas around the fur or the eyes of the fur animal, and the feeding unit is arranged to be brought into contact with the fur of the fur animal when the first fixing rod and a second fixing rod are fixed in the fur or eyes of the fur animal.
It may be advantageous for the feed unit to extend centrally along the longitudinal axis of the scraping device.
This results in a solution where the feeding unit can easily be brought into contact with the fur of the fur animal and thus influence it during the process of removing the skin from the scraping stick.
It may be advantageous for the scraping device to comprise one or two slidably mounted fixing rods.
Thus, when using the scraping device, at least one fixing rod can be retracted (towards the central portion of the scraping device) so that at least one fixing rod does not (or to a lesser extent) extend relative to the distal end of the scraping device.
This option may be advantageous in removing skins from scratching sticks.
It may be an advantage that the scraping device includes means for removable mounting on a scraping stick.
This makes it possible to mount the scraping device on existing scrapers. Furthermore, it is possible to replace worn or defective scraping devices when this is desired or required.
It may be an advantage that the scraper device comprises a mechanical device for feeding the feed unit or a unit connected to the feed unit.
It may be advantageous for the scraper device to comprise an electrical device for feeding the feed unit or a unit connected to the feed unit.
There are many possibilities for providing a mechanical or electrical device. A mechanical or electrical device may comprise all suitable types of means, including linear and rotary feed and actuation devices, such as e.g. shafts, gears, belts and chains.
It may be an advantage that the scraping device comprises a shear mechanism and that the scraping device comprises or is connected to a control unit comprising means for controlling the feed unit and / or the shear mechanism.
Such a control unit can be connected to an existing scraper and optionally controlled on the basis of the scraper cycle of the scraper.
It may be advantageous for the scraper device to comprise a pneumatic shear mechanism comprising an inlet unit for introducing compressed air.
In this way, the feed unit can be displaced by means of compressed air.
It may be an advantage that the scraper device includes a valve, e.g. a non-return valve designed to prevent the return of air. This makes it possible, at least in part, to carry out a pressure control via the use of the valve.
It may be advantageous for the scraping device to comprise a displacement mechanism comprising a cylinder and a piston slidably mounted in the cylinder, the piston being connected to the feed unit.
This construction is simple and ensures a reliable scraping device.
It may be an advantage that the scraper device comprises a shear mechanism, a control unit comprising means for controlling the feed unit and / or the shear mechanism.
The control unit can thus be used to ensure proper control of the feed unit and / or the displacement mechanism. The control unit may comprise mechanical and / or electrical parts. The control unit may be connected to one or more sensors arranged to detect one or more parameters.
The object of the present invention is achieved by a scraper comprising a scraping device according to the invention.
The scraping device may be integrated into the scraping stick or be removably mounted.

Detailed description
Initially, it should be noted that the attached drawings illustrate non-limiting embodiments only. A variety of other embodiments will be possible within the scope of the present invention. In the following, similar or identical elements in the various embodiments will be denoted by the same reference numeral.
FIG. 1 illustrates a perspective view of a scraper 6 of the prior art. The scraper 6 is arranged for insertion into a mink skin (see Fig. 3). The scraper 6 is used in conjunction with a number of rotatably mounted scraper rolls 8, 8 'which are brought into contact with the leather side of the skin. In order for the skin to subsequently be used for a reversible coat, it is essential that the leather side is cleaned, for example. Cool.
The scraper 6 is shaped like an elongated rod shaped member with a rounded head 12 into which are fixed two fixing rods 10, 10 '.
FIG. Figure 2A illustrates a mink skin 14 with the hair side facing outward. The mink skin 14 has a surface covered with hair 22 which is desired to be kept clean during the mandatory scratching process that the mink skin must go through. It can be seen that the mink skin 14 is provided with ear 16, 16 'eyes 18, 18' and snout 20.
FIG. 2B illustrates that in FIG. 2A, the minkskin 14 shown is reversed so that the leather side 24 faces outward. The eyes 18, 18 'and the snout 20 are indicated on the mink skin 14.
When using traditional scraping sticks (as shown in Fig. 1), a situation often arises where the skin 14 is unwantedly turned (so that the hair side faces outward), the muzzle 20 adhering to the scraping stick to such a degree that the muzzle 20 and thus the skin 14 '' follows when the scraper rod is pulled out of the skin 14. The skin 14 will thus fall onto the base with the hair side facing outwards. Thereby there is a risk that the hairs will become dirty, thus reducing the value of the mink fur and thus the selling price.
FIG. Fig. 3A illustrates schematically how a scraper device 2 according to the invention is inserted into a minkskin 14 with the leather side 24 facing outwards. The scraping device 2 is guided in a direction 26 towards the snout 20. In FIG. 3A, the scraper device 2 is advanced to the central portion of the mink skin 14.
The scraper device 2 comprises a first fixing rod 30 and a second fixing rod 30 '. The two fixing rods 30, 30 'are arranged to be fixed in the area of the eyes 18, 18' or the ears.
The scraping device 2 further comprises a feed unit 4 mechanically connected to a displaceably mounted piston 28. The scraping device 2 is formed as a tapered blank with a rounded front part in which channels are provided for inserting the two fixing rods 30, 30 'and the feed unit 4 and the associated piston 28.
FIG. 3B illustrates a schematic view of the one shown in FIG. 3A, in a situation where the two fixing rods 30, 30 'are fixed in the skin in the area around the eyes 18, 18' (alternatively the fixation could be done by the ears). The feed unit 4 is located at a distance from the nozzle 20. By displacing the piston 28 in the direction 26, the feed unit 4 is guided against the nozzle 20.
In FIG. 3 C, the feeder unit 4 is brought into contact with the snout 20. When the skin 14 is to be released or detached from the scraping device 2, further activation of the feeder unit 4 will cause the snout 20 to be pushed away from the scraping device 2.
When the snout 20, as shown in FIG. 3D, being pushed away from scraping device 2 while guiding scraping device 2 in a direction 26 towards the open end of the skin (furthest away from the snout 20), the scraping device 2 will counteract that the skin 14 is inadvertently turned. Thus, the scraper cutter device 2 can contribute to minimizing the risk that scrap-treated skins 14 are inadvertently turned in connection with the removal of the skins 14 from a scraping stick.
FIG. 4A shows a close-up of a fixing rod 30 similar to that of FIG. 3. The fixing rod 30 comprises an excellent fixing member 52 which is secured to a mounting member 32 arranged for mounting in a channel 34, 34 'provided in the scraping device 2, as illustrated in FIG. 4 B.
FIG. 4B illustrates a schematic cross-sectional view of a scraping device 2 according to the invention. The scraping device 2 can e.g. molded in plastic or metal. Alternatively, the scraping device 2 may be processed e.g. via a turning process or other manufacturing method, optionally combined with a drilling process.
The one shown in FIG. 4B scraping device 2 further comprises a first centrally located channel 38 which opens into a second centrally located channel 36.
FIG. 4C illustrates a schematic representation of shear mechanism 40 for a scraping device 2 according to the invention. The displacement mechanism 40 is pneumatic and comprises an inlet unit 44 for introducing compressed air. Thus, the displacement mechanism 40 is driven by the introduced compressed air.
The insertion unit 44 may comprise a valve, e.g. a non-return valve that prevents reflux.
The displacement mechanism 40 comprises a cylinder 46 in which a piston 28 is slidably mounted. The piston 28 is connected to a feeding unit 4 adapted to be contacted with the muzzle of a fur animal skin (for example, a mink skin see Fig. 3 C and Fig. 3 D).
Advantageously there may be provided a control unit (not shown) which, on the basis of, for example, a timer, activates a valve (not shown) or another unit which ensures that in the cylinder 46 there are pressure conditions which cause the piston to be displaced. in the desired direction 26, 26 '.
By increasing the pressure in the cylinder 46, it is possible to displace the piston 28 and thus the feed unit 4 in the direction 26. Conversely, it will be possible to displace the piston 28 and thus the feed unit 4 in the opposite direction 26 'by reducing the pressure in the cylinder 46. in the cylinder 26 can be controlled by activating one or more valves and / or compressed air units coupled to the cylinder 46.
It is possible to use other ways to operate the feed unit 4.
It is e.g. it is possible to use an electric actuator, a hydraulically controlled motor or a hydraulic piston.
FIG. 5A illustrates a perspective view of a scraping device 2 according to the invention. The scraper device 2 comprises a curved surface 50 adjacent to a curved end surface in which three longitudinal channels 34, 34 ', 36 are provided. The three channels 34, 34', 36 have a cylindrical cross-section and extend parallel to the scraping device. longitudinal axis X. The upper portion 42 of the curved surface 50 is planar and formed as a circular section.
FIG. 5B illustrates that in FIG. 5A is a top view of the scraping device 2. It will be seen that the scraping device 2 comprises a region 48 angular to the longitudinal axis X. This region forms a circular section.
It is seen that the curved surface 50 from above resembles a rectangular area. The three channels 34, 34 ', 36 are located symmetrically along the longitudinal axis of the scraper device.
FIG. 5 C illustrates the one shown in FIG. 5A is a side view of the scraping device 2. It will be seen that the scraper device 2 comprises a flat surface 54 facing away from the curved surface 50. The scraper device 2 stands on a flat end surface 56.
The curved surface 50 comprises a flat surface 42 which forms the upper part of the curved surface 50. In the upper part of the scraping device 2, one of the three channels 34 extending through the scraping device 2 is seen along its longitudinal axis X.
An angled region 48 is provided adjacent to the planar surface and to the upper portion into which the channels 34 have their outlet.
FIG. 5 D illustrates that of FIG. Figure 5A is a bottom view of the scraping device 2. It will be seen that the three channels 34, 34 ', 36 extend through the plane end surface 56 and that the channels 34, 34', 36 are symmetrically located on the plane end surface 56.
FIG. 6A shows a scraper 6 according to the invention. FIG. 6B shows a close-up of the one shown in FIG. 6A and the attached scraping device 2 attached thereto.
The scraper 6 comprises a scraper device 2 equipped with a first fixing rod 30 and a second fixing rod 30 'extending parallel to the first fixing rod 30. Between the two fixing rods 30, 30' is slidably mounted a feeding unit 4.
The scraper device 2 comprises means for displacing the feed unit 4 in a forward direction 26 and in a forward direction 26 '.
The scraping device 2 forms a separate part which can be attached to the scraping stick 6 and removed from it.
FIG. 7A and FIG. 7B illustrates schematic views of a scraping device 2 according to the invention. This is a scraping device 2 comprising a mechanically driven feed unit 4.
The feed unit 4 is formed as a cylindrical rod, but may have other configurations. The drive unit 4 is attached to a slidably mounted shaft 28. The shaft 28 is connected to a device for displacing the shaft 28.
The scraping device 2 comprises two fixing rods 30, 30 'which are connected to each shaft 60, 60'. The shafts 60 ', 60 "are slidably mounted so that the shafts 60', 60" can be slid through the channels 34, 34 'in which they are mounted.
In FIG. 7A, the two fixing rods 30, 30 'extend relative to the distal end 66 of the scraping device. In FIG. 7B, the two fixing rods 30, 30 'are retracted into the channels 34, 34' provided in the scraping device. The shafts 60 ', 60' are connected to devices for displacing the shafts 60 ', 60' so that the position of the two fixing bars 30, 30 'can be adjusted. Thus, in connection with removal of skins from the scraper device 2, the two fixing rods 30, 30 'may be retracted in the direction towards the scraper device 2 so that the two fixing rods 30, 30' are displaced into the channels 34, 34 '.
FIG. 7C shows a cross-sectional view of a scraping stick 6 with a scraping device according to the invention. The scraper 6 comprises a shear unit 58 comprising a shaft 60 and a feed unit 4.
The displacement unit 58 is displaceably mounted in a channel 34. Upon displacement of the displacement unit 58, the shaft and the feed unit 4 are displaced in one of the directions 26, 26 '. The displacement unit 58 may be driven by a mechanical device, an electrical device, a pneumatic device, a hydraulic or a magnetic device. Thus, movement of the displacement unit 58 can be effected through the use of any suitable device.
FIG. 7 D, FIG. 7 E and FIG. 7 F shows three different configurations of a scraper 6 with a scraping device according to the invention. The scraper 6 comprises a feed unit 4 consisting of a rocker arm 62 mounted in a swivel joint 64. When rotating the rocker arm 62 around the swivel joint 64, the feed unit 4 will be displaced in direction 26 or in direction 26 '. Thus, it is possible to displace the feed unit 4 in the two directions 26, 26 'by rotation about the pivot joint 64.
FIG. 7 D illustrates a view in which the feed unit 4 is very little advanced (relative to the distal end of the scraper 6). FIG. 7E illustrates a view in which the feed unit 4 is further advanced (relative to the distal end of the scraper 6). FIG. 7 F illustrates a view in which the feed unit 4 is advanced even further (relative to the distal end of the scraper 6).
The feed unit 4 can be displaced by providing rotation about the pivot joint 64 using a motor, mechanical device or other suitable device.
