专利说明:

The present invention relates to an apparatus for scraping the meat side of fur from fur animals such as mink skins.
It is known to remove grease and meat residue from the meat side of fur animals by contacting the flesh side of the skin with a rotating roller with teeth that scrape the flesh side of the skin.
From Danish Patent No. 177520 B1 is known an apparatus comprising two front scraper rolls, each having a plurality of scraper edges, arranged to engage a skin side of a fur animal skin on opposite sides of a cane to support the fur animal skin. The scraper edges extend substantially helically along the longitudinal direction of the fur scraper rolls, and the two scraper scraper rollers are arranged to apply force components transversely to the log which act in the same direction on the skin side of a fur animal skin during their engagement with the skin side of the fur animal skin.
Further, devices for scraping skins from, among others, are known. Danish utility model DK 2013 00005 Y4, DK 2013 00137 U3, DK 2013 00136 U4 and Danish patent DK 156669 B3 and EP 2 093 299 A1.
When scraping the meat side of fur skins, it is usually sought to maintain uniform and / or otherwise controlled scraping pressure throughout the skin width to ensure sufficient effective scraping of the skins and partly to ensure that scraping is as gentle as possible for the skins . In the light of the foregoing, it is an object of the present invention to provide an apparatus for scraping the meat side of a fur animal which ensures an efficient scraping of the skin in a manner which is gentle to the skin.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an apparatus for scraping the meat side of fur from fur animals such as mink, comprising: a cane having a preferably tapered shape and having a substantially rectangular cross section for holding a fur with the fur side facing inward towards the surface of the stick and the flesh side of the skin facing outwards; at least one first scraping roller pair, wherein the scraping rolls of the first scraping roller pair are disposed on opposite sides of the stick and each scraping roller of the first scraping roller pair has a motor for rotating the scraping roller about its axis of rotation, which scraping rollers are positioned relative to the stick, during operation of the apparatus may engage the meat side of the skin, each scraping roller defining two end faces and a roller surface extending in axial direction between the two end faces spaced apart and the roller surface comprising a plurality of teeth extending axially oriented between the two end faces and spaced apart along the circumference of the roller surface, each tooth comprising an egg having two tooth flanks; a drive for providing a linear movement of the stick relative to the scraping rollers in a feed direction; characterized in that the teeth of a first scraping roller in the first scraping roller pair are disposed with the starting and ending points of each tooth at the respective end surfaces of the scraping roller, that is, at different angular positions on the circumference of the scraping roll, so that the teeth extend substantially helically along the roller surface, and the first scratch roller thereby imparts a force on the stick transversely to the longitudinal direction of the stick, and the teeth of a second scratch roller in the first scratch roller pair substantially follow a V shape between the end faces of the scratch roller. The teeth of the first scraping roller in the first scraping roller pair are arranged with each tooth's start and end points at the end faces offset relative to each other. That is, the teeth of the first scraping roller extend substantially helically along the rolling surface, similar to the scraping edges of the front scraper rolls of the apparatus described in DK 177520 B1. Thus, the first scraping roller applies a force component to the skin which is transverse to the longitudinal direction of the stick. The part of the skin which engages the first scraping roller is thus pulled in this transverse direction. By contrast, the teeth of the second scraping roller in the first scraping roller pair essentially follow a V shape between the end surfaces of the scraping roll, as shown and described in, for example, DK 156669 B3. This V shape ensures that the forces applied to the skin across the longitudinal direction of the stick pull the skin toward the center of the second scraper roller.
That is, part of the skin is pulled in a transverse direction, away from the second scratching roller, by the first scratching roller, while another part of the skin, placed on an opposite side of the stick, is pulled toward the center of the second scratching roller. Thus, a controlled pull in the skin is achieved by the first scratching roller.
Furthermore, it has been found that this is more gentle on the skin than pulling on the skin using both the first and second scratching rolls, introducing less stress in the skin.
The log preferably has a tapered shape with a square or rectangular cross section.
Conveniently, the linear movement of the log relative to the scraping rollers can be provided by moving the log along its longitudinal direction. Alternatively, the scraping rollers can be moved or the log as well as the scraping rollers can be moved.
Each of the teeth of the first and / or second scraping rolls in the first scraping roller pair may have a corrugated course, the corrugated course of each tooth being continuously curved. Thus, one of the scraping rollers or both scraping rollers has teeth whose eggs are corrugated. The corrugated egg means that the scraping can be done effectively throughout the width of the skin / cane. If the teeth of the first scraping roller have a wave-shaped course, the teeth of the first scraping roller in the medium will follow a helical path along the rolling surface, but wave valves and wave peaks will be defined around the helical median path.
Similarly, if the teeth of the second scraping roller have a wave-shaped course, the teeth of the second scraping roller will follow a V-shaped path along the rolling surface, but wave valves and peaks will be defined around the V-shaped mean path. The waveform of the teeth may be phase-shifted or in-phase. The phase shift can be advantageous for scraping efficiency, whereas it can facilitate the production of the teeth of the roller by, for example, milling, that the teeth are in phase.
The scraping rollers in the first scraping roller pair may be fine scraping rollers, i.e. scraping rollers, which are arranged to fine scrape the skin after an initial scraping has taken place.
Alternatively, the scraping rollers of the first scraping roller pair may be initial scraping rollers, i.e., scraping rollers adapted to perform an initial scraping of the skin.
The apparatus may further comprise at least one other scraping roller pair disposed with respect to the first scraping roller pair along the longitudinal direction of the stick, and wherein the scraping rollers of the second scraping roller pair are disposed on opposite sides of the stick, each scraping roller of the second scraping roller pair having a motor for rotating the scraping roller about its axis of rotation, which scraping rollers are arranged so that the scraping rollers during operation of the apparatus can engage the meat side of the skin, each scraping roller defining two end faces and a rolling surface extending in axial direction between the two end faces which are spaced apart, and wherein the roller surface comprises a plurality of teeth extending in axial direction between the two end faces and spaced apart along the circumference of the roller surface, each tooth comprising an egg having two tooth flanks.
According to this embodiment, the apparatus has at least two scrap roll pairs disposed relative to one another along the longitudinal direction of the stick. Similar to what is described above, the scraping rollers in the second scraping roller pair can also be either fine scraping rollers or initial scratching rollers.
The scraping rollers in the second scraping roller pair may be disposed on opposite sides of the stick, which opposite sides are substantially perpendicular to the opposite sides of the stick, on which the scraping rolls in the first scraping roller pair are disposed.
According to this embodiment, the scraping rollers of the first scraping roller pair are disposed substantially perpendicular to the scraping rollers of the second scraping roller pair. This ensures that fat and meat residues are effectively removed from the entire skin. The teeth of at least one of the scraping rollers in the other scraping roll pair may have a corrugated course, the corrugated course of each tooth being continuously curved. The teeth may follow a mean path along the roll surface which is substantially straight, substantially helical, or substantially V-shaped, with wave peaks and wave valleys being defined around the mean path. Alternatively, the teeth of at least one of the scraping rollers in the other scraping roller pair may follow a straight, helical or V-shaped path along the rolling surface, without the teeth following a wave-shaped course.
According to one embodiment, the teeth of a first scraping roller in the second scraping roller pair are arranged with each tooth's start and end points at the respective end faces of the scraping roller displaced relative to each other, i.e. at different angular positions on the circumference of the scraping roll, so that the teeth extend substantially helically. along the roller surface, and the first scraping roller thereby applying a skin on the stick a force component transverse to the longitudinal direction of the stick, and the teeth of a second scraping roller placed in the second scraping roller pair so as to substantially follow a V-shape between the end faces of the scraping roll.
As mentioned above, part of the skin will thereby be pulled in a transverse direction, away from the second scraping roller, of the first scraping roller, while another part of the skin, placed on an opposite side of the stick, will be pulled towards the center of the second scraping roller. Thus, a controlled pull in the skin is achieved by the first scratching roller. Furthermore, it has been found that this is more gentle on the skin than pulling on the skin using both the first and second scratching rolls, introducing less stress in the skin. Thus, a more gentle scraping of the skin is achieved over the whole meat side of it.
The apparatus may further comprise additional scrap roll pairs, such as a third, a fourth, a fifth, etc. scrap roll pairs. The scrap rollers in such additional scrap roll pairs may be disposed on opposite sides of the log, which opposing sides may, for example, be substantially perpendicular to or substantially parallel to the opposite sides on which the scrap rolls of the first scrap roll pair are disposed.
According to an embodiment of the invention, the apparatus comprises a third scraping roller pair disposed offset from the first and second scraping roller pairs along the longitudinal direction of the stick, and wherein the scraping rollers of the third scraping roller pair are disposed on opposite sides of the stick, each scraping roll of the third scraping roller pair having a motor for rotating the scraping roller about its axis of rotation, which scraping rollers are arranged so that the scraping rollers during operation of the apparatus can engage the meat side of the skin, each scraping roller defining two end faces and a rolling surface extending in axial direction. between the two end faces which are spaced apart and wherein the roll face comprises a plurality of teeth extending in axial direction between the two end faces and spaced apart along the circumference of the roll face, each tooth comprising an egg having two tooth flanks.
According to this embodiment, the apparatus has at least three scraper roll pairs disposed relative to each other along the longitudinal direction of the stick. Similar to what is described above, the scraping rollers in the third scraping roller pair can also be either fine scraping rollers or initial scratching rollers.
The scraping rollers of the third scraping roller pair may be disposed on opposite sides of the stick, which opposite sides are substantially perpendicular to the opposite sides of the stick, on which the scraping rollers of the first scraping roller pair or the second scraping roller pair are disposed. The third scraping roller pair will hereby be arranged so that the skin on one of the four sides of the log is scraped by two successive scraping rollers.
According to an embodiment of the invention, the third scraper roller pair is arranged on the same opposite sides of the stick as the second scraper roller pair.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the third scraping roller pair comprises on one side of the stick a scraping roller with teeth following a substantially straight or substantially V-shaped web, and on the opposite side of the stick a scraping roller with teeth which follows a substantially straight or substantially helical path.
Thus, the third spiral roller pair may have a scraping roller with teeth following a substantially helical path, which scraping roller is disposed on the same side of the stick with the substantially helical teeth of the second spiral roller pair, and the scraping roller of the third scraping pair helical teeth are preferably twisted in the opposite direction of the scraping roll with helical teeth in the second spiral roll pair so that the two said scraping rollers apply a skin to the stick of force components transverse to the stick in opposite directions.
However, the third spiral roller scraping roller with teeth following a substantially helical path may also be disposed on the same side of the log as the scraping roller with substantially helical teeth in the first spiral roller pair.
Thus, further, the third scraping roller pair may have a scraping roller with teeth substantially following a V-shaped web, which scraping roller is disposed on the same side of the stick as the second scraping roller pair of scraping rollers with teeth following a substantially V-shaped web. .
However, the third scraping roller pair of scraping rollers having substantially a V-shaped web may also be disposed on the same side of the stick as the first scraping roller pair of scraping rollers with teeth following a substantially V-shaped web.
In practice, with the above scraping roller combinations, good scraping results have been obtained or expected, which also applies to the use of a single or two scraping rollers with straight teeth, ie. teeth parallel to the longitudinal axis of the scraping roller, in the third scraping roller pair.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the apparatus comprises a fourth scraping roller pair disposed offset from the first, second and third scraping roll pairs along the longitudinal direction of the stick, and wherein the scraping rollers of the spring scraping roll pair are disposed on opposite sides of the stick, each scraping roll therein. spring scraper roller pairs have a motor for rotating the scraping roller about its axis of rotation, which scraping rollers are arranged relative to the stick so that the scraping rollers during operation of the apparatus can engage the meat side of the skin, each scraping roller defining two end faces and a rolling surface extending in axial direction between the two end faces which are spaced apart and wherein the roller face comprises a plurality of teeth extending in axial direction between the two end faces and spaced apart along the circumference of the roller surface, each tooth comprising an egg with two flanks.
According to one embodiment, the spring scraper roll pair is arranged on the same opposite sides of the stick as the first scraper roll pair. Generally, however, the fourth pair of scraping rollers will be arranged so that on all four sides of the stick there are two scraping rollers arranged one after the other. As a result, the fur on the four sides of the log is scraped both by an initial scratching roll and a fine scratching roll. As previously stated, the scraping rollers in the fourth scraping roller pair can be either fine scraping rollers or initial scratching rollers.
Further, the teeth of at least one of the fourth scrap roll pair rollers may have a corrugated course, the corrugated course of each tooth being continuously curved. The teeth may follow a mean path along the rolling surface which is substantially straight, substantially helical or substantially V-shaped, with wave valleys and wave peaks being defined around the mean path. Alternatively, the teeth of at least one of the fourth scraping roller pairs of scraping rollers may follow a substantially straight, substantially helical, or substantially V-shaped path along the rolling surface, without the teeth having a wave-shaped course.
According to a further embodiment, the fourth scraping roller pair on one side of the stick has a scraping roller with teeth following a substantially straight or substantially V-shaped web, and on the opposite side of the stick a scraping roller with teeth following a substantially straight or a substantially helical web. In this connection, the fourth spiral roller pair may have a scraping roller with teeth following a substantially helical path, which scraping roller is disposed on the same side of the stick with the substantially spiral teeth of the first spiral roller pair, and the fourth spiral roller scraping roller with helical teeth is preferably twisted in the opposite direction of the scraping roll with helical teeth in the first spiral roll pair so that the two said scraping rollers apply a skin to the stick force components transverse to the stick in opposite directions. In addition, in the above embodiment, the fourth scraping roller pair may have a scraping roller with teeth substantially following a V-shaped web, which scraping roller is disposed on the same side of the stick as the scraping roller of the first scraping pair followed by one in the substantial V-shaped web.
In practice, with the above scraping roller combinations, good scraping results have been obtained or expected, which also applies to the use of a single or two scraping rollers with straight teeth, ie. teeth parallel to the longitudinal axis of the scraping roller, in the third scraping roller pair.
The apparatus may further comprise one or more nozzles for spraying a liquid on one or more of the scraping rollers and / or on the skin in the region where the teeth of the scraping rollers engage the meat side of the skin. This allows a liquid film to be created on the dental flanks to help prevent grease and meat from sticking to the dental flanks.

FIG. Figures 8-11 show various types of scraping rollers for use in an apparatus according to the invention.
FIG. 1a shows a device 1 according to a first embodiment of the invention in perspective. The apparatus 1 comprises a tapered stick 2 which defines a longitudinal direction and has a free, thin end 7 and an opposite end, and four scraper roll pairs 3, 4, 5, 6, each with two scrap rollers disposed on opposite sides of the stick 2 The scraping roll pairs of scrap roll pairs 3 and 6 are arranged on the lateral sides of the log, while the scrap roll pairs 4 and 5 are disposed on the opposite top and bottom of the log.
A fur 8 from a fur animal, such as a mink, is placed on the stick 2 with its head and forelegs 9 positioned closest to the thin frieze end 7 of the stick 2. The fur 8 is disposed with the fur side towards the stick 2 and the meat side outwards, so that the scrap rolls can engage with the 8 flesh side of the skin. The fur area of the fur animal fur 9 is shown. In the embodiment shown, the stick 2 moves in its longitudinal direction in the direction shown by the arrow M during the scraping, while the scrap roll pairs are not moved in the longitudinal direction of the stick. During the scraping, they all rotate in the direction indicated by the arrows, ie. they all rotate so that teeth engaging the skin move in the direction from the free thin end of the stick toward its opposite thicker end.
The scraping rollers 3a, 3b of the first scraping roller pair 3 are fine scraping rollers, that is, they are arranged to scrap the skin 8 after an initial scraping has taken place. The first scraping roller pair 3 is positioned as the last scraping roller pair in the scraping sequence, i.e. a given portion of a skin scraped by the apparatus 1 will be scraped by the first scrap roll pair 3 after being scraped by the other scrap roll pairs 4, 5, 6. One scrap roll 3a of the first scrap roll pair 3 has teeth. , which follows a helical path along the roller surface, and the second scraping roller 3b in the first scraping roller pair 3 has teeth that follow a V-shaped path along the rolling surface. As described above, this causes the second scraping roller 3b in the first scraping roller pair 3 to pull the skin 8 toward the center of the scraping roller, while the first scraping roller 3a of the first scraping roller pair 3 performs a controlled pull on the skin 8 which is then extended and scraped. efficiently, but in a skinny 8 gentle way.
The scraping rollers 4a, 4b of the second scraping roller pair 4 are also fine scraping rollers.
The scratch rolls in the third 5 and the fourth 6 scratch roll pairs are initial scratch rolls, ie. they are arranged to perform initial scraping of the skin 8.
For fine scraping rolls the term primary scraping rollers can also be used and for initial scraping rollers the term secondary scraping rollers or vice versa.
The scraping rollers 4a, 4b in the second scraping roll pair 4 have both teeth that follow a helical path along the rolling surface. Thus, the scraping rollers 4a, 4b in the second scraping roller pair 4 apply the skin 8 substantially in the same direction of rotation about the stick 2, whereby the scraping rollers 4a, 4b of the second scraping roller pair 4 attempt to rotate the skin 8.
The scraping rollers 5a, 5b of the third scraping roll pair 5 also have both teeth that follow a helical path along the rolling surface. However, one scraping roller is provided with teeth that have a wave-shaped course.
The scraping rollers 6a, 6b of the fourth scraping roller pair 6 also have both teeth that follow a helical path along the rolling surface.
FIG. 1b shows the stick 2 with the skin 8 in perspective. The arrows in FIG. 1b illustrates the forces of the scraping rollers shown in FIG. 1a, apply the skin 8 during operation, however, it should be understood that all the scrap rollers apply a force component to the skin in the direction from the free thin end of the stick to its opposite thicker end. It is evident that the scraping rollers 3a, 3b of the first scraping roller pair 3 apply forces to the skin 8 in such a way that the forces from one scraping roller 3b pull the skin 8 towards the center of the scraping roll and the forces from the second scraping roller 3a exert a controlled pull on the skin 8 on the upper side of the stick 2.
FIG. 2a shows a device 1 according to another embodiment of the invention in perspective. The apparatus 1 shown in FIG. 2a, is similar to the apparatus 1 shown in FIG. la, and will therefore not be described in detail here. In the apparatus 1 shown in FIG. 2a, the scraping rollers 4a, 4b in the second scraping roll pair 4 are provided with teeth which follow a straight path along the rolling surface but with a waveform. This results in the forces applied to the skin 8 by the scraping rollers 4a, 4b in the second scraping roller pair 4 being substantially in the longitudinal direction of the stick 2, ie. the skin 8 is not pulled across the longitudinal direction of the stick 2.
FIG. 2b illustrates the forces of the scraping rollers shown in FIG. 2a, applies the skin 8 during operation. It is evident that the scraping rollers 3a, 3b of the first scraping roller pair 3 apply forces to the skin 8 in such a way that the forces from one scraping roller 3b pull the skin 8 towards the center of the scraping roll and the forces from the second scraping roller 3a exert a controlled pull of the skin 8 on the upper side of the stick 2. It is also evident that the scrap rollers 4a, 4b of the second scratch roll pair 4 apply forces to the skin 8 in the longitudinal direction of the stick 2.
FIG. 3a shows a device 1 according to a third embodiment of the invention in perspective. The apparatus 1 shown in FIG. 3a, is similar to the apparatus 1 shown in Figs. 1a and Figs. 2a, and will therefore not be described in detail herein. In the apparatus 1 shown in FIG. 3a, the first scraping roller 3a in the first scraping roller pair 3 is provided with teeth having a wavy course along the rolling surface. In addition, the corrugated teeth are arranged along a helical path along the roller surface.
FIG. 3b illustrates the forces of the scraping rollers shown in FIG. 3a, applies the skin 8. Again, it is evident that the scraping rollers 3a, 3b in the first scraping roller pair 3 apply forces to the skin 8 in such a way that the forces from one scraping roller 3b pull the skin 8 toward the center of the scraping roller, and the forces from the second scratching roller 3a exerts a controlled pull on the skin 8 on the upper side of the stick 2.
FIG. 4a shows a device 1 according to a fourth embodiment of the invention in perspective. The scraping rollers 3a, 3b of the first scraping roll pair 3 are fine scraping rollers, i.e. they are arranged to make a fine scraping of the skin 8 after an initial scraping has taken place. However, in this case, the first scrap roll pair 3 is positioned as the penultimate scrap roll pair in the scraping sequence, and not as the last. Instead, the scraping rollers 4a, 4b of the second scraping roll pair 4 are arranged as the last scraping roll pair in the scraping sequence.
Apart from this, the scraping rollers 3a, 3b of the first scraping roller pair 3 are similar to the scraping rollers of the first scraping roller pair 3 in the embodiment shown in Figs. 1a and Figs. 2a. Thus, this embodiment also illustrates that with the first, second, third and fourth scraper roll pairs, there is no restriction on the order in which the scrap rollers are placed and on which sides of the log they are placed.
FIG. 4b illustrates the forces of the scraping rollers shown in FIG. 4a, applies the skin 8. Again, it is evident that the scraping rollers 3a, 3b of the first scraping roller pair 3 apply forces to the skin 8 in such a way that the forces from one scraping roller 3b pull the skin 8 toward the center of the scraping roll, and the forces from the second scraper roll 3a exerts a controlled pull on the skin 8 on one side of the stick 2.
FIG. 5a shows an embodiment in which one scraping roller 3a; 4a in both the first and second scraping roller pairs 3; 4 has teeth following a helical path along the rolling surface, and the second scraping roller 3b; 4b in both the first and second scraping roller pairs 3; 4 has teeth that follow a V-shaped path along the roller surface.
Similarly, the second scratch roll 4b in the second scratch roll pair 4 will pull the skin 8 toward the center of the scratch roll, while the first scratch roll 4a in the second scratch roll pair 4 performs a controlled pull on the skin 8 which is then extended and scraped effectively, but on a the skin 8 gentle way.
The scraping rollers 5a, 5b; 6a, 6b in both the third scraping roller pair 5 and the fourth scraping roller pair 6 are both equipped with teeth which follow a straight path along the rolling surface. This results in the forces applied to the skin 8 by the scraping rollers 5a, 5b in the third scraping roller pair 5 and the scraping rollers 6a, 6b in the fourth scraping roller pair 6, substantially in the longitudinal direction of the stick 2, i. the skin 8 is not pulled across the longitudinal direction of the stick 2.
FIG. 5b illustrates the forces of the scraping rollers shown in FIG. 5a, applies the skin 8 during operation. It is evident that the scraping rollers 3a, 3b in the first scraping roller pair 3 and the scraping rollers 4a, 4b in the second scraping roller pair apply forces to the skin 8 in such a way that the forces from one scraping roller 3b; 4b pull the skin 8 toward the center of the the scratching roll, and the forces of the second scratching roll 3a; 4a exert a controlled pull on the skin 8 across the stick 2. It is also apparent that the scratching rollers 5a, 5b in the third scratching roll pair 5 and the scratching rollers 6a, 6b in the fourth scratch roll pair 6 apply forces to the skin 8 in the longitudinal direction of the stick 2 without substantially applying the force across the stick.
Alternatively to the one shown in FIG. 5a, the other, i.e. in FIG. 5a, upper scraping roll 5b in the third scraping roller pair 5 have teeth extending substantially V-shaped along the rolling surface and thus acting on the skin with forces pulling it toward the center of the scraping roller. This roller is as shown on the same side of the stick as the second scraping roller pair 4, ie. in FIG. 5a upper abrasive roller 4b with teeth extending V-shaped along the roller surface. Further, the second scraping roller, i.e. the one shown in FIG. 5a, the rear scraping roller 6b of the fourth scraping roller pair 6 has teeth extending substantially V-shaped along the rolling surface and preferably disposed on the same side of the stick as the second scraping roller pair 3, i.e. FIG. 5a rear scraping roller 3a having teeth extending the V-shaped long roller surface.
Fig. 6a shows a modification of the embodiment shown in Fig. 5a. The only change is that the first one, ie. in FIG. 6a, the front scraper roll 6a in the fourth scraping roller pair of FIG. 6a has teeth which follow a helical path along the roller surface and thus apply a controlled transverse feature to the skin. It should be further noted that said scraping roller 6a is disposed on the same side of the stick as the first scraping roller pair 3, the first scraping roller 3a having teeth following a spiral path along the rolling surface, and that the teeth of the scraping roller 6a are preferably substantially in the opposite direction. of the teeth of the bevel 3a.
FIG. 6b illustrates the forces of the scraping rollers shown in FIG. 6a, applies the skin 8 during operation. It is evident that the only difference from Figs. 5b is that the scraping roll 6a with teeth extending substantially helically along the rolling surface in the opposite direction of the scraping roller 3a acts in the direction of pulling the skin across the log in the opposite direction of the scraping roll 3a.
As an alternative to the embodiment shown in FIG. 6a, the fourth roll pair 6 could be second, i.e. in FIG. 6a, rear scraper roll 6b, have teeth extending V-shaped on the rolling surface and being located on the same side of the stick as the second scraping roller pair 3, second scraping roller 3b having teeth extending V-shaped on the rolling surface. Further, as mentioned above, the 3 scrap roller pair 5 upper roller 5b could have teeth extending V-shaped along the rolling surface and located on the same side of the stick as the second scrap roller set 4 upper scrap roller having teeth extending V-shaped along false surface.
Finally, in a further modification of both embodiments discussed with reference to Figs. 5a, b and Figs. 6a, b the first scraping roll pair 5 first, i. in Figs. 5a and 6a lower scraper roll 5a, have teeth extending helically along the roll surface and be disposed on the same side of the stick as the second scrap roll pair 4 first, i.e. in said figures, lower scraper roll 4a having teeth extending helically along the roll surface and being coiled in the opposite direction of the lower spiral roll 4a.
In summary, as a modification of the one shown in FIG. 5a: - the first scraping roll pair 5 first, i. in FIG. 5 lower, scraper roll 5a have helical teeth opposite to the twist of the second scrap roll pair 4 first, ie. in Fig. 5 lower, scraper roll 4a, and located on the same side of the stick as the latter scrap roll. the second scraping roll pair 5 second, viz. in FIG. 5 upper, scraper roll 5b have V-shaped teeth and be positioned on the same side of the stick as the second scraper roll pair 4 second, ie. in figure 5 upper, scraping roller 4b.
The first scratch spring roll pair 6, i.e. in FIG. 5, the front scraper roll 6a has helical teeth which are opposite to the twist of the first scraping roller set 3, i.e. in FIG. 5, the front scraper roll 3a and be positioned on the same side of the stick as the latter scraper roll 3a.
The second scraping roller set 6 second, viz. in FIG. 5 rear, scraper roll 6b, have V-shaped teeth and be positioned on the same side of the stick as the second scraper roll set 3 second, ie in Fig. 5 rear, scrap roll 3b.
FIG. 7a shows a presently preferred embodiment wherein one of the scraping rollers 3b; 4a in both the first and second scraping roll pairs 3; 4 has teeth that follow a helical path along the rolling surface and the second scraping rollers 3a; 4b in both the first and second scraper roller pairs 3; 4 have teeth that follow a V-shaped path along the roller surface.
As described above, this causes the first scratch roll 3a in the first scratch roll pair 3 to pull the skin 8 toward the center of the scratch roll, while the second scratch roll 3b in the first scratch roll pair 3 performs a controlled pull in the skin 8 which is then extended and scraped. efficiently, but in a skinny 8 gentle way.
The first scraping roller 5a of the third scraping roller pair 5 has helical teeth twisted in the opposite direction to the teeth of the first scraping roller 4a of the second scraping roller pair 4. The third scraping roller pair of the second scraping roller 5b has V-shaped teeth and is positioned on the same side. of the stick as the second scratch roller pair 4 second scratch roller 4b. The first scratching roll pair 6 of the first scratching roll 6 has V-shaped teeth and is arranged on the same side of the stick as the first scratching roll pair 3's first scratching roll 3a. The second scraping roller pair 6 of the second scraping roller 6b has helically wound teeth which are twisted in the opposite direction to the teeth of the second scraping roller pair 3 of the second scraping roller 3b.

It is also apparent that the scratching rollers 5a, 5b in the third scratching roll pair 5 and the scratching rollers 6a, 6b in the fourth scratch roll pair 6 apply forces to the skin 8 in such a way that the forces from one scraping roller 5b; 6a pull the skin 8 toward the center of the scraping roller, and the forces from the other scraping roller 5a; 6b exert a controlled pull on the skin 8 across the log.
Figs. Figures 8-11 show four different scraping rollers which can be used in an apparatus according to the invention. The scraper rolls have two end faces 10 and a roll surface 11. The roll surface 11 comprises a plurality of teeth 12 extending axially along the circumference of the roll surface 11 between the two end faces 10. The teeth 12 of the scraping roll shown in Figs. 8, a V-shape follows the roller surface 11 between the end faces 10. The teeth 12 of the scraping roller shown in FIG. 9, a helical path follows the roller surface 11 between the end faces 10. The teeth 12 of the scraping roller shown in FIG. 10, has a wavy run along the roller surface 11 between the end faces 10. The end points of the teeth 12 of the two end faces 10 are not displaced angularly, that is, the teeth 12 follow a substantially straight path along the roller surface 11. The teeth 12 of the scraping roller which are shown in FIG. 11, also has a wavy course along the roller surface 11 between the end faces 10. However, the end points of the teeth 12 on the two end faces 10 are offset at an angle to each other, that is, the teeth 12 follow a substantially helical median path along the roller surface 11.
For example, for scraping mink fur, the scraping rollers may have a diameter of 100 mm - 200 mm, such as 110 mm - 160 mm, such as 125 mm - 140 mm.
For example, the length of the scraping rollers may be 100 mm - 200 mm, such as 120 mm - 180 mm, such as 150 mm - 170 mm. In a specific embodiment, the scraping rollers have a diameter of 132 mm and a length of 160 mm.
It should be noted that the scraping rollers shown with teeth extending V-shaped on the rolling surface are designed such that the tip of the V faces backward in the direction of rotation of the scraping roller and the scraping roller pulls the skin towards the center.
However, it is also possible to form a scraper roller with V-shaped teeth so that the tip of the V faces forward, seen in the direction of rotation of the scraping roller, whereby the scraping roller will extend outwards to the sides.
