TECHNICAL AREA
The present invention relates to an electrical socket for a sanitary installation for use in a sanitary room, such as a bathroom, according to the preamble of claim 1 and a sanitary installation according to claim 15.
STATE OF THE ART
Bathroom functions have become more complex in the recent past. Shower toilets or toilets with odor extraction may be mentioned as examples. The additional functions require an appropriate power supply. For example, for controlling the shower toilet or for a fan motor.
Often, however, sockets and power connections are missing in bathrooms, which could supply a sanitary article with electricity. There is therefore a need to provide electrical connections in the vicinity of or even on the mounting frame.
From EP 2 568 089 A1 a toilet connection device in the form of a mounting frame for a shower toilet is known, which has an electrical connection device and a shower water connection device. The electrical connection device is a hole in the mounting frame, through which an electrical connection of the shower toilet with an electrical connection located behind the mounting frame is made possible.
The disadvantage of such devices, however, is that the installation and / or maintenance of a shower toilet requires skilled workers from different trades or trades.
DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION
Based on this prior art, the invention is based on an object of specifying an electrical socket of the type mentioned, which is easier to install and easier to maintain. In particular, it is an object of the present invention to design the electrical socket in such a way that it can be serviced by a plumber.
This object is achieved by the subject matter of claim 1. Accordingly, an electrical socket for a sanitary installation with a sanitary article, a housing with an interior that is accessible via a front opening, a partition located in the interior, which divides the interior into a first area and divides a second room area. At least one electrical contact element is arranged in the partition wall, which has a first connection point facing the first room area for connection to a building-side electrical installation, such as a high-voltage installation and / or a building management system installation, and which has a second connection point facing the second room area. In the second spatial area, at least one electrical element is also arranged, which electrical element has an electrical interface that can be electrically connected to the second connection point of the electrical contact element via a plug connection. The electrical element can be connected to a sanitary article via a conductor element.
Due to the arrangement of the partition, the first connection point can be arranged physically separated from the plug connection between the second connection point and the electrical element. In the event of maintenance, the plumber can comparatively easily replace the electrical element because no manipulation is required at the first connection point. It is only necessary to separate or establish the plug connection between the second connection point and the electrical element. The assistance of the electrician or the building control technician is therefore no longer required.
Preferably, the first connection point is pre-assembled with a cable at the factory. This means that the first connection point is connected to a cable in the first area of the room, which is then connected to the electrical installation on the infrastructure side. Alternatively, the cable can also be connected on site. Regardless of this, after the first installation, which has to be carried out by the electrician for regulatory reasons, the advantage that maintenance work can be carried out by the plumber without the help of an electrician due to the division of the interior and due to the plug connection between the electrical element and the contact element. In other words, the electrician connects the electrical socket to the building's electrical installation and then the plumber can complete the assembly and also carry out maintenance work, for example replacing the electrical element, without the assistance of the electrician.
The expression "plug connection" is understood to mean a mechanical connection which is established by relative displacement of the electrical element towards the contact element and which is separated from the contact element by relative displacement of the electrical element.
The partition preferably extends completely across the interior. The expression that “the partition extends completely through the interior” is understood to mean that the partition extends over the complete cross section of the interior. In other embodiments, the partition only extends partially through the interior. In all embodiments, the only penetration of the partition wall is essentially provided by the electrical contact element. Otherwise there is preferably no connection between the two room areas. This means that the two room areas are preferably completely separated from one another.
The high-voltage installation is typically an electrical installation in a building, which is operated with a voltage greater than 100 volts. The building management system installation is operated with a lower voltage.
In a first variant, the contact element is fixedly mounted in a through opening in the partition. The contact element can be inserted into the through opening during assembly and is then firmly attached to the separating tape. A mechanical and / or material connection can be used for the definition.
In a second variant, the contact element forms an integral part of the partition. This means that the contact element and partition are essentially designed in one piece.
[0015] The second connection point preferably has a plurality of connection sockets. The interface has several connection pins which can be pushed into the connection sockets.
Preferably, three connection sockets and three connection pins are provided so that phase, neutral and grounding can be provided. The connection sockets are preferably designed such that the sockets cannot be touched by hand; in particular that the connection sockets comply with electrical standards.
The connection sockets are preferably surrounded by a connection socket housing. The connection pins are preferably exposed from the electrical element.
[0018] Flat contacts can also be used as an alternative to the connection socket and connection pin. This means that the second connection point and the interface are designed as flat contacts, one of the flat contacts preferably being provided by a spring-loaded contact element.
Preferably, the partition can be inserted into the interior. This means that the partition is an element which is formed separately from the housing and can be inserted into the interior.
The partition that can be inserted into the interior has the effect that the second room area can be completely closed on the reverse side. This has the advantage that when the electrical socket is installed, no access to the first room area is possible.
As an alternative to the partition that can be used, the partition can also be designed as an integral part of the housing. The integral design of the partition wall has the advantage that the housing is comparatively easy to manufacture.
The partition wall is particularly preferably provided by an insert that can be inserted into the interior space via a front opening. The insert can be pushed into the interior via the front opening and thus comes to rest in the interior of the housing.
[0023] The insert preferably has at least one spacer section which protrudes from the partition. The spacer section comes into contact with a wall of the housing opposite the front opening. Said first space area is created between the wall of the housing and the partition. Said second space is created between the front opening and the partition wall.
Through the use of said partition can be used very easily in the interior. The spacer section ensures that the partition is always in the same place.
[0025] The spacer section preferably has the structure of a wall, which wall preferably has at least one opening which is arranged with at least one passage opening on the housing to match.
The breakthrough and the through opening are arranged to match each other in such a way that a cable or a similar connection structure can be led outwards from the first space, so that the cable or the similar connection structure can be connected to the building's electrical installation.
The breakthrough penetrates the wall and can also be referred to as a cutout.
A further wall, which at least partially surrounds the partition, preferably projects from the partition in the direction of the second spatial region.
With the further wall an element is created which is used for the storage of the electrical element or for the storage of parts belonging to the electrical element, such as cables.
Preferably, the further wall has at least one receiving element for receiving electrical elements to be connected to the electrical element, such as cables.
Preferably, a cable is provided at the first connection point, which is in permanent electrical connection with the first connection point and is led out of the housing via a through opening and can be connected outside the housing to the building's electrical installation. In the case of larger toilet facilities, it is also conceivable that the cables of two adjacent sanitary articles are led from electrical socket to electrical socket.
The individual strands of the cable are non-positively and / or cohesively connected to the first connection point.
The first connection point is preferably a connection terminal which has clamping elements which can be connected to the strands via a clamping connection.
The electrical element is preferably a power supply unit, a transformer, a battery, a communication element, or an element that works together with the building management system. However, various of the electrical elements just listed or other electrical elements can also be integrated on or in a single electrical element.
In a development of the present invention, it is basically conceivable that more than one electrical element is arranged, wherein the electrical elements can be of different types. The number of electrical elements is preferably equal to the number of contact elements.
The housing preferably has at least one latching element on the outside, with which the housing can be connected to the sanitary installation, in particular to a mounting frame.
The at least one latching element is preferably arranged on the top of the housing so that the electrical socket can be suspended.
Preferably, the housing has an indentation on one of its side walls, which is designed such that space is created for the implementation of a drain pipe of the sanitary installation.
The indentation is preferably rounded in a concave manner. The indentation extends into the housing and reduces the cross section or the volume of the interior.
[0040] The indentation is preferably located centrally between two opposite side walls of the housing.
The side wall in which the indentation is located is preferably designed on the outside in such a way that no elements protrude from the side wall.
The indentation preferably extends essentially along a main direction, which main direction is transverse to the partition wall.
The electrical socket is preferably characterized in terms of its size in that, viewed at right angles to the front opening, it has a width which is at least 1.5 times greater than the height; and / or that the electrical socket has a depth which is smaller than the width and / or greater than the height.
The electrical socket is preferably designed as a flat box, so that the electrical socket only takes up a very small sub-area in its height in a mounting frame.
Another aspect of the present invention relates to a sanitary installation for a sanitary article, in particular a toilet or shower toilet. The sanitary installation includes:<tb> <SEP> - a mounting frame;<tb> <SEP> - a flushing pipe receptacle for receiving a flushing pipe for feeding flushing water into the sanitary article;<tb> <SEP> - a fastening means for receiving and fastening a drain pipe for discharging waste water from the sanitary article on the mounting frame; and<tb> <SEP> - at least a first and a second fastening device for fastening the sanitary article to the mounting frame. The flushing pipe receptacle, the fastening means and the first and second fastening device define an interspace, with an electrical socket, in particular an electrical socket as described above, for Power supply of the sanitary article is arranged in the space.
The electrical socket is designed with the partition wall described above.
The intermediate space is preferably defined by two vertical planes which run vertically through the first or second fastening device in the installed position and by two horizontal planes which run horizontally through the flushing pipe receptacle or the fastening means in the installed position.
In other words, the space can be defined by two vertical planes which extend along the center lines of the mounting openings and by two horizontal planes which are orthogonal to these perpendicular planes and which run horizontally through the flushing pipe receptacle and the fastening means will. The intermediate space is preferably arranged such that it is freely accessible when the mounting frame is installed, and the intermediate space is preferably covered by the sanitary article in the installed state, in the case of a sanitary article connected to the mounting frame.
As already explained above, it is preferred to leave the electrical socket freely accessible after it has been attached to the mounting frame. Consequently, the space in which the electrical socket is arranged is neither clad nor plastered. Since the space is limited by the flushing pipe receptacle, the fastening means and the first and second fastening device, it has dimensions that are covered by a sanitary article fastened to the mounting frame. In this way, both aesthetic and practical requirements can be met at the same time.
The fastening means is preferably a pipe clamp which is connected to the mounting frame.
The mounting frame is typically arranged behind a front wall. The front wall has an opening so that the electrical socket is accessible. The front opening of the electrical socket is oriented towards the rear of the front wall so that the front opening is accessible through the opening. The opening is preferably covered by the sanitary article connected to the mounting frame, whereby access to the electrical socket is created by removing the sanitary article.
[0052] Further embodiments are given in the dependent claims.

DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
In Figures 1 to 2 exploded views of an electrical socket 1 for a sanitary installation 2 are shown. A sectional view of the electrical socket 1 is shown in FIG. Figures 4 and 5 show the electrical socket 1 in connection with a sanitary installation 2. The electrical socket 1 is used to supply a sanitary article, which is part of the sanitary installation 2, with electrical energy or with control signals. The sanitary article can be any sanitary article. For example, a shower toilet, a flushing system, a washbasin or an outlet fitting is mentioned here.
The structure of the electrical socket 1 will now be explained with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. The electrical socket 1 comprises a housing 3 with an interior 4, which is accessible via a front opening 16, and a partition 5 located in the interior 4, which extends completely transversely through the interior 4 and the interior 4 into a first room area 6 and a second Room area 7 divides. The division of the two spatial areas 6, 7 can be clearly seen in the sectional view in FIG.
In the partition 5, at least one electrical contact element 8 is arranged. The electrical contact element 8 has a first connection point 9 facing the first spatial region 6. Furthermore, the electrical contact element 8 has a second connection point 10 facing the second spatial region 7.
The first connection point 9 is used to connect the electrical contact element 8 to an electrical installation on the building side, such as a high-voltage installation or a building control installation. The building's electrical installation is not shown in the figures. At least one electrical element 11 is also arranged in the second spatial area 7. The electrical element 11 is preferably a power supply unit or a transformer or a battery or a communication element or an element that works together with the building management system. The electrical element 11 has an electrical interface 12 which can be electrically connected to the second connection point 10 of the electrical contact element 8 via a plug connection. The plug connection can be established or separated by a linear movement between electrical element 11 and contact element 8. Here, the electrical element 11 is pushed into or moved out of the second spatial area 7.
The electrical element 11 can be connected to a sanitary article via a conductor element 13. The conductor element 13 is shown here as a cable. The conductor element 13 can also be a wireless connection.
The first connection point 9, which is designed for connection to the electrical installation on the building side, has, in the embodiment shown, the shape of a connection terminal 35 with a plurality of clamping sections 36. Individual strands of a cable can be connected to the clamping sections 36. The strands are then mechanically clamped to the contact element 8 accordingly. This clamping can either be prepared in the factory or carried out on site by the electrician. In the embodiment shown, the second connection point 10 comprises a plurality of connection sockets 14. The interface 12 on the side of the electrical element 11 is in the form of connection pins 15. The connection pins 15 can be inserted into the connection sockets 14 when the plug connection is established. In the embodiment shown, the connection sockets 14 are surrounded by a connection housing 30. The junction box housing 30 is part of the electrical contact element 8.
As soon as the contact element 8 is connected to the building's electrical installation via the first connection point 9, the electrical element 11 can be easily installed due to the plug connection between the electrical element 11 and the contact element 8. The same applies to replacement in the event of maintenance. Since it is possible for everyone to establish or disconnect a plug connection, this can be done by the user himself or by the plumber without the help of an electrician.
In the embodiment shown, the contact element 8 is fixedly mounted in a through opening 29 in the partition. The contact element 8 can be mounted in various ways. In the embodiment shown, a latching element 31 is shown. Alternatively, the contact element 8 can also be mechanically and / or cohesively connected to the partition 5 in some other way. In other, not shown embodiments, it would also be conceivable that the contact element 8 forms an integral part of the partition 5.
In the embodiment shown, the partition 5 can be inserted into the interior 4. This means that the partition can be inserted into the interior 4 during assembly. The partition 5 extends over the complete cross section of the interior 4, so that the two spatial areas 6, 7 are separated from one another. This means that a user has no access to the second room area 7 when the partition wall 5 is located in the interior 4. This applies in particular to the access seen from the first room area 6. The partition wall 5 is held in the interior by means of screws which are passed through screw holes 42 on the partition wall 5 and engage in thread 43.
The partition wall 5 is provided here by an insert 17 that can be inserted into the interior space via the front opening 16. The insert 17 can be inserted into the interior 4 via the front opening 16. The insert 17 has a spacer section 18, here in the form of walls, which protrudes from the partition 5. As shown in FIG. 3, the spacer section 18 comes into contact with one of the wall 19 of the housing 3 lying opposite the front opening 16. The spacer section 18 holds the partition 5 at a distance from the said wall 19. Between the wall 19 of the housing 3 and the partition 5, said first space 6 is created. The first space 6 is preferably a space that is essentially closed on the reverse. In the embodiment shown, the first spatial area 6 is correspondingly delimited by the wall 19 of the housing 3 and by side walls 25 of the housing 3 and by the partition wall 5.
In the embodiment shown, the spacer section 18 has the shape of a wall which protrudes from the partition 5. The wall has at least one opening 20, which is arranged to coincide with at least one through opening 21 on the housing 3. A plurality of through openings 21 are preferably arranged in the housing 3, so that the cables can be guided into the housing 3 at different locations. Corresponding through openings 21 are particularly preferably arranged on at least two opposite side walls 25.
The through opening 21 is provided with a cable grommet 32 here. A cable is introduced into the first spatial area 6 from the outside via the through opening 21 or the cable sleeve 32. The cable is typically a power cord that is connected to the high-voltage installation or a signal cable that is connected to the building management system. The cable is then connected to the first connection point 9 of the electrical contact element 8 in the first spatial area 6. In the embodiment shown, two through openings 21 are arranged. It is also possible for more or fewer through openings 21 to be arranged. For example, in this context it would also be conceivable that the high-voltage cable is led into the first room area 6 via a through opening 21 and that a signal cable is led into the first room area 6 via a second through opening 21.
A further wall 22 protrudes from the partition wall 5 in the direction of the second space region 7. The further wall 22 at least partially surrounds the partition 5. In the embodiment shown, the further wall 22 also has at least one receiving element 23 for receiving or fastening electrical elements to be connected to the electrical element 11, for example cables.
On the outside, the housing 3 has at least one latching element 24. In the embodiment shown, two latching elements 24 are arranged in the area of the front opening 16. The housing 3 can be connected to a mounting frame 28 of the sanitary installation 2 with the at least one latching element 24.
The housing 2 also has an indentation 26 on one of its side walls 25. The indentation 26 is arranged here in the lower region of the housing 3. The indentation 26 is designed such that space is created for a drain pipe 27 of the sanitary installation 2 to pass through. This implementation can be seen well in FIG. The drain pipe 27 lies below the housing 3 and is passed through the indentation 26. This training has the advantage that the available space can be used optimally. In the embodiment shown, the indentation 26 is arranged centrally between two opposite side walls 25 of the housing 2. The indentation extends further into the interior space 4 and thus reduces the interior space 4. The indentation here has the shape of a concave curvature.
At right angles to the front opening 16, the housing has a width which is at least 1.5 times greater than the height H of the housing. Furthermore, the depth T of the electrical socket 1 is here smaller than the width B and greater than the height H.
The sanitary installation 2 shown in Figures 4 and 5 includes the electrical socket described above and a mounting frame 28. In an alternative variant, another electrical socket can be used, the interior of which is formed without the partition wall and the elements connected to the partition wall can be. A cistern with an actuating structure 37 and the drain pipe 27 are mounted in the mounting frame 28. The mounting frame 28 can also be used to accommodate other elements. The electrical socket 1 is here above the drainage pipe 27, which extends through said indentation 26. In the embodiment shown, the electrical socket 1 is in a latching connection via the latching elements 24 with a cross member 34 of the mounting frame 28. The transverse traverse 34 also serves to support a flushing pipe 38. In the embodiment shown, the drain pipe 27 is not connected to the electrical socket 1, but is mechanically held on a transverse traverse 39 of the mounting frame via a pipe clip arrangement 33 formed separately from the electrical socket 1 .
The electrical socket is arranged here in an intermediate space Z above the drain pipe 27. The intermediate space Z is defined by two vertical planes, which run perpendicularly through the first and second fastening device 41, and by two horizontal planes, which run horizontally through the flushing pipe receptacle or the fastening means 40.
The intermediate space Z is preferably such that it is covered by a sanitary article connected to the mounting frame. During maintenance work, the sanitary article can be removed accordingly, whereby access to the space Z and the electrical socket located therein is created.
