Description: The present invention relates to an apparatus for automating industrial processes, in particular for loading and unloading of processing machines, assembly of assemblies, gluing of components, testing of test pieces.
Systems for industrial processes are known, e.g. CNC Turning, Milling, Grinding, Punching or Bending Machines, which are continuously loaded by an operator or by the production process with workpieces (blanks or semi-finished products) and unloaded as semi-finished or finished parts. This work is tedious and expensive and does not allow high volume production.
Systems for industrial processes are known, e.g. Mounting devices, adhesive devices, test devices in which, by one or more operators continuously, workpieces are mounted, glued or tested. This work is cumbersome and expensive, has high quality and accuracy requirements, and does not allow for high volume production.
It is known to take over this manual work, such as loading and unloading, mounting, gluing or testing, by automation or handling device. This includes e.g. a gripping device arranged on a manipulator, which grips the workpiece (blank) to be processed (for example, from a store) and hereby loads the processing machine (for example, clamps the workpiece in a chuck of the processing machine). After workpiece machining, the machined workpiece may be removed by the automation or handling device (e.g., released from the chuck of the machine tool) and deposited. In the prior art, the automation or handling device is integrated with the processing machine and covered by a (collective) shield (cab) of the plant or according to risk analysis appropriate precautions to allow access by a person, e.g. the operator, at least during individual processing steps to prevent. Thus, accidents at work are prevented.
The disadvantage of this is that the workpieces to be processed (blanks) and the already processed workpieces or assemblies (finished parts) can only be supplied or removed by each time the shield or any protective devices of the machine open and then closed again. The processes involved are time-consuming and reduce the throughput rate. Also, the space within the processing machine for accommodating the workpieces to be processed and the already processed workpieces is limited, so that the workpieces to be processed and the already processed workpieces must be fed and removed very frequently, thereby further reducing the throughput rate.
The object of the present invention is to provide a device in which the aforementioned problems are solved.
According to the invention the above object is achieved by a device for loading and unloading a processing machine for mounting assemblies, for gluing components or testing of test parts, wherein the device comprises a device body, a manipulator (handling device) with a gripping device for picking up and Depositing the workpieces or assemblies, and comprising a pallet carrier for receiving the workpieces or assemblies. The manipulator is designed for moving the workpieces between the pallet carrier and the assembly, gluing, testing or processing position of the process-related machine. The pallet carrier receptacle is mounted so adjustable on the device body that a simple access to the process-related machine is allowed. As a result, a device is provided which can be delivered in a modular manner to a processing machine, assembly, gluing or testing system. Another advantage of the device according to the invention is that it allows easy access (or access by a person) to a processing, assembly, gluing or testing position of the process-related machine. As a result, only the pallet carrier receptacle is adjusted in such a way that access from outside to the processing, assembly, adhesive, or test position of the process-related system is released. Thus, work can i.a. to change a tool, to retool the process-related equipment (e.g., drills, cutters, assembly tools, & facilities, etc.) quickly and easily. Also, maintenance can be done easily. Preferably, the pallet carrier receptacle is pivotally articulated on the device body and / or movably mounted on the device body in the vertical direction. By pivoting the pallet carrier receptacle from the horizontal position to the vertical position, access to the process-related machine, at least to the processing, assembly, gluing or inspection position of the process-related system, is released. The pallet carrier holder can be pivoted up or down here. For this, the pallet carrier receptacle is connected by a joint, e.g. a hinge hinged to the device body. Alternatively or additionally, the height of the pallet carrier receptacle can be changed so as to enable access to the processing, assembly, adhesive or test position of the process-related installation. For example, the pallet carrier receptacle, still oriented horizontally, can be moved up in relation to the device body. Further alternatively, the pallet carrier receptacle can be displaced upwardly in relation to the device body and at the same time pivoted in the vertical orientation. Adjusted in this way, the pallet carrier receptacle can then be locked in this position or orientation.
Alternatively, the pallet carrier receptacle is removably mounted on the device body. In this embodiment, the pallet carrier is easily detached from the device body and removed from the device body, whereby the processing, the mounting, gluing or inspection position of the process-related plant is easily accessible.
Preferably, the pallet carrier receptacle for receiving at least one pallet carrier for storing the workpieces, tools or auxiliary devices is formed. The pallet carriers can be standardized or customized. The pallet carriers are equipped in advance with the workpieces to be processed, the required tools and auxiliary devices. After the last workpiece, tool or auxiliary device has been removed from the pallet carrier, the empty pallet carrier is removed from the pallet carrier holder and replaced by a new, pre-equipped pallet carrier.
Preferably, the pallet carrier receptacle and / or the pallet carrier comprise at least one locking device for releasably locking the respectively supplied pallet carrier with the pallet carrier receptacle. By releasably locking the respectively supplied pallet carrier to the pallet carrier receiving the pallet carrier is held reliably and does not slip in the course of process-related processing or handling. The lock also allows a predetermined orientation of the pallet carrier in relation to the pallet carrier receptacle. This ensures that the pallet carrier is always aligned correctly and the gripper device of the manipulator reliably grips the respective workpiece, tool or auxiliary device even at high speed.
Preferably, the apparatus further comprises a storage device for storing a plurality of pallet carriers. The storage device may e.g. the device be provided modular. The storage device, sometimes referred to as a feed stacker, can stockpile the pallet carriers pre-loaded with the respective workpieces, tools or auxiliary devices.
Preferably, the storage device comprises a conveyor, adapted for supplying a respective pallet carrier to the pallet carrier receiving and / or discharging the pallet carrier thereof. By means of the conveyor, pre-equipped pallet carriers can be fed to the process-related machine. Optionally, the conveyor picks up already empty pallet carriers from the process-related machine and feeds them to the storage device.
Preferably, the device body comprises a lockable cabin, which closes at least movable components of the device from the outside inaccessible. Thus, the operator or any other person can not come into contact with moving parts of the device and injure themselves. The lockable cab can be glazed so the operator can control the machining, assembly, gluing or testing process from the outside.
Preferably, the cabin includes an access door. The access door is hinged to the position of the cabin where the pallet carrier (in the operating position) is located. Thus, the operator has direct access to the processing, assembly, gluing or testing machine via the opened access door and the space released by the displaced pallet carrier receptacle. The access door is preferably opened to the outside.
Preferably, the cabin comprises a lock device which comprises a drawer accessible from inside and outside the cabin for receiving at least one test specimen for testing outside the device. Thus, in the course of workpiece machining, the assembly, gluing or testing process, respective machined workpieces or assembled assemblies (test pieces) can be fed to the drawer and removed from the drawer from the outside. According to this lock principle, e.g. the operator must check any specimens for correct processing (for example, checking the dimensions), without having to interrupt the workpiece machining, the assembly, gluing or testing process altogether.

Preferably, the device further comprises a horizontally movable control cabinet, comprising controls for controlling the device, wherein the control cabinet is accessible in the retracted state and in the adjusted position of the pallet carrier receptacle from above. FIGS. 1 to 6 show different views of a device 10 for automating various industrial processes on process-related machines 12. In FIGS. 1 and 2, the device 10 is shown provided on the process-related machine 12.
The device 10 is the process-related machines 12 provided in modules or loaded and unloads and unloads the machine, mounted assemblies, glues components or checks parts in the process-related machine 12 with workpieces to be machined (not shown). According to the invention, the pallet carrier receptacle 20 is so adjustably mounted on the device body 14 that the operator access until directly has the processing, assembly, gluing or testing position of the process-related machine 12. As shown in Fig. 4, in a further embodiment, the pallet carrier receptacle 20 is movably mounted on the car 14 in the vertical direction. Thus, the pallet carrier receptacle 20 can be changed in height so as to enable access to the processing, assembly, gluing or inspection position of the process-related machine 12. The pallet carrier receptacle 20 may be displaced upwardly in relation to the cabin 14 while still remaining horizontally aligned, as shown in FIG. Although not shown, the pallet carrier receptacle 20 may alternatively be displaced upwardly relative to the cab 14 and additionally pivoted to vertical orientation. As illustrated in FIG. 5, the pallet carrier receptacle 20 is removably attached to the cab 14 in a further embodiment. Fig. 7 shows the pallet carrier receptacle 20 and the pallet carrier 22, which the workpieces, tools or auxiliary devices - in total, for example, under the term «process elements» subsumed - can record. The pallet carrier 22 may be standardized or customized. The pallet carrier 22 may be standardized or a custom pallet up to a size of H-Eu-ro, which allows a very high flexibility in the parts feed. The pallet carrier receptacle 20 comprises two cylindrical pins 26 (for illustrative reasons, only one cylindrical pin 26 is shown in FIG. 7). The cylindrical pins 26 are operatively connected to one actuator 28 and lock the pallet carrier 22 on the pallet carrier receptacle 20. The cylindrical pins 26 and the respective associated actuators 28 act as a locking device. Due to the releasable locking of the respectively supplied pallet carrier 22 on the pallet carrier receptacle 20, the pallet carrier 22 is reliably held and at the same time can be easily released.
The pallet carrier receptacle 20 further comprises a guide profile 30, which is operatively connected to an actuator 32, wherein the guide profile 30, the pallet carrier 22 aligns laterally. In this way it can be ensured that the gripping device 18 of the manipulator 16 reliably grips the respective workpiece, tool or auxiliary device from the correctly aligned pallet carrier 22, even at high speed. By means of a sensor 34, the position of the pallet carrier 22 is optionally checked. An additional sensor 36 checks the presence of the pallet carrier 22 on the pallet carrier receptacle 20. The pallet carrier receptacle 20 is hinged to the car 14 by means of hinges 38 and can be raised above the hinges 38 (see FIG. 2) or downwards (see FIG. 3). be panned. In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a plurality of pallet carriers 22 are provided in a storage device 44. In the storage device 44 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the pallet carriers 22 pre-loaded with the respective workpieces, tools or auxiliary devices are stacked one above the other. Once all workpieces, tools or auxiliary devices have been processed by a pallet carrier 22, the robot can independently replace them with a pallet carrier 22 with unprocessed blanks, tools or auxiliary devices. Thus, the staffing can be reduced and the efficiency can be further increased.
In an alternative embodiment, the pallet carriers 22 are supplied to the pallet carrier receptacle 20 by means of a conveying device (not shown) included in the storage device 44. Optionally, empty pallet carriers 22 can be removed from the pallet carrier receptacle 20 to the storage device 44 by the conveyor. Further alternatively, the pallet carrier 22 can be manually added and removed. The storage device 44 is mounted on rollers 46 and can be moved within a very short time and used on another device or system.
The storage device 44 can be equipped, if necessary, with magazine modules for two to ten pallet carrier, the magazine modules for workpieces, tools or auxiliary devices of different heights can be used. This not only guarantees maximum autonomy, but also high flexibility.
The cabin 14 has a lock device comprising a drawer 48 for receiving a specimen, the drawer 48, e.g. by a corresponding displacement of them, from inside and outside the cabin 14 is accessible.
