Typical of process plants is therefore an extensive user manual, which is provided by the equipment manufacturer. However, this is often not read or understood by the responsible persons. Sometimes it happens that the corresponding equipment is operated by people who can not read. This leads to incorrect settings and operating errors, which result in production stoppages and / or the production of rejects. In particular, in the production of transdermal patches, in which it is essential that the active ingredient is precisely dosed, a misalignment can have very adverse consequences. The present invention has for its object to eliminate the problems outlined when setting up and monitoring a process plant or at least greatly reduced. This object is achieved by a method having the features of claim 1, by a portable computer with the features of claim 7 and its use and by a process plant with the features of claim 14. The inventive method for monitoring and setting up a process plant is characterized by the use of a portable computer, in particular a commercial tablet computer on which an interactive user manual for the process plant is installed.
