Invention Patent Descriptive Report for DEVICE AND METHOD FOR RECOVERING A CAPSULE OF A BEVERAGE PRODUCTION APPARATUS, DRINK PRODUCTION APPARATUS AND COMBINATION OF A DEVICE AND A CAPSULE.
Field of the Invention [001] The invention relates to a device and method for recovering a capsule containing beverage ingredients from a preparation unit for a beverage production apparatus. Technical Basics [002] The preparation of a beverage by a capsule containing a beverage ingredient is known. In general, the capsule is inserted into a beverage production device, such as a coffee machine, the liquid is fed into the capsule and a drink is extracted from the capsule under pressure or by gravity.
[003] The preparation of a drink by using centrifugation is known. The principle basically consists of providing a beverage ingredient in a capsule container, feeding the liquid into the receptacle and rotating the receptacle at high speeds to ensure the interaction of the liquid with the powder while creating a liquid pressure gradient in the receptacle, such as pressure gradually increasing from the center towards the periphery of the receptacle. As the liquid passes through the coffee bed, the extraction of the coffee compounds occurs and a liquid extract is obtained and flows out at the periphery of the receptacle.
[004] The term capsule refers to any flexible, rigid or semi-rigid container containing a beverage ingredient. Other synonyms for a capsule are: pod, pad, cartridge or sachet. The capsule can be disposable. The container can also be filled with ingredients by the user to form the capsule just before
Petition 870200011534, of 01/24/2020, p. 5/35
2/21 of use.
[005] The term ingredient means any suitable beverage substance such as ground coffee, instant coffee, tea leaf, instant tea, herbal tea, powdered milk, culinary powder, children's food and combinations thereof.
[006] After preparing the drink, the capsule used is usually removed manually from the receptacle of the device after opening a lid that closes the receptacle during beverage production. This operation can be dangerous in the case of preparing hot drinks where the capsule remains hot after preparation. To solve this security problem, the cover remains closed until the capsule is cooled. This relatively long cooling period has a disadvantage when several drinks need to be produced in a short period of time.
[007] There are beverage devices where the capsule is oriented during its insertion in an open preparation unit along substantially vertical sliding elements and retained in an intermediate position by lateral retention devices such as fixed or retractable or articulated elements as described in WO2005 / 004683. When the preparation unit is closed, the capsule is forced to move from its intermediate position to its extraction position. The ejection of the capsule is obtained when the preparation unit is opened again since the capsule is no longer retained by the retaining element and falls by the action of gravity. However, such a system is not suitable for a receptacle retaining a capsule substantially horizontally or at a low angle to the horizontal plane.
[008] In some other device configurations, the receptacle tilts according to a defined angle so that the used capsule falls directly into a container when production
Petition 870200011534, of 01/24/2020, p. 6/35
3/21 drink is closed and the receptacle cover is opened.
[009] For example, international patent publication WO2009 / 113035 refers to a beverage preparation apparatus comprising an opening and closing mechanism for opening and closing the capsule retainer with respect to the extraction head where the apparatus comprises a mechanism ejection capsule comprising a booster configured to leverage the capsule by engaging with the capsule flange when the extraction head is opened in an upward position.
[0010] However, for correct capsule ejection, the system must meet certain design restrictions. In particular, it requires the device to be sufficiently tilted and the pusher to be long enough and curved to dislodge the capsule from the capsule retainer.
[0011] In another alternative solution of WO2009 / 113035, the capsule receiver is articulated so that it can rotate and locate the capsule in a set of curved fixed rail for ejection. However, in order for the capsule to be properly ejected, an acceleration of the receiver is required when rotated. Therefore, the success of the ejection is highly dependent on the opening speed of the device. Additionally, such a construction is very laborious.
[0012] GB2449420B describes a capsule ejection system based on a clamping mechanism integrated in a head of a beverage production apparatus. During ejection, a used capsule is captured by a fastener and the head carrying, thus, the capsule moves horizontally backwards to an ejection position where the capsule is released by the fastener and falls by gravity in a space behind the head.
[0013] Such a system for capturing and transporting a capsule from a preparation position to an ejection position involves a mePetition 870200011534, of 24/01/2020, p. 7/35
4/21 very complex and fault-sensitive design whose construction, production and maintenance can present cost efficiency problems. [0014] EP1669011 refers to a dispensing head for espresso machines comprising an upper support element articulated to a lower support element. The ejection devices are provided and include an articulated capsule ejection fork for a pivot pin applied to the lower support element and an annular part designed to enclose the top of the capsule which is suitably supplied with a rim. As the upper support element is raised, the fork element is also raised due to the provision of tooth elements formed in the fork element and cooperating with the respective chamfered planes or surfaces of the upper support element which operates as a linear cam . The fork element lifts the capsule and after reaching a certain inclination, the capsule slides on the fork element and falls into a collection container. Then, when the mentioned inclination is exceeded, the fork tooth element disengages from the chamfered surfaces of the upper support element. Accordingly, the fork element returns to its initial position in which it rests against the lower support element. The requirement for fork tooth elements to provide such a disengagement operation at a given inclination tends to create wear and / or blocking problems.
Summary of the Invention [0015] The purpose of the invention is to provide a simple and efficient device for retrieving a capsule from a receptacle of a beverage production apparatus. In particular, an advantage is to allow the recovery of a used capsule in a convenient way while reducing user intervention. Another advantage is to offer safer recovery conditions of the capsule without injury

5/21 to users of the device due to high temperatures and without waiting for the capsule to cool before opening the receptacle. Another objective is to provide a device particularly well suited for centrifugation although it can be used for preparation devices using other preparation principles.
[0016] These objectives are achieved by a device for retrieving a capsule in a beverage production apparatus comprising a housing, a cover and a receptacle for receiving said capsule containing a beverage ingredient, the cover and / or receptacle being movable between a closed position of the receptacle and an open position of the receptacle, the device being characterized by the fact that it comprises:
at least one extraction device for extracting and capturing the capsule when inserted in the receptacle, said extraction device being configured to be activated at the opening of said receptacle;
at least one orientation device coupled to the extraction device and configured to be activated after extraction of the capsule and to guide the capsule in sliding in an inclination, said inclination being defined by an angular position of the cover with respect to a horizontal plane.
[0017] The device generally applies to receptacles positioned substantially horizontally, for example, in the beverage preparation system as described in WO2010 / 026053. In fact, the receptacle being configured for rotation of the capsule during the preparation operation, may not be easily tilted to extract a used capsule. Therefore, a coupled mechanism to cover the receptacle and adapted to extract and slide the extracted capsule towards a collection space becomes an advantageous and safe alternative to the extraction method.

6/21 manual.
[0018] It is worth noting that a similar mechanism can also be applied to beverage production devices without centrifugation and / or with a receptacle positioned not necessarily horizontally.
[0019] It is also worth noting that the invention extends to a mobile cover and a fixed receptacle or a fixed cover and a mobile receptacle or both a mobile cover and a mobile receptacle. All three alternatives are possible and the term relative to the parts (cover / receptacle) is used to cover all of these alternatives in the broadest sense.
[0020] The cover is preferably movable with respect to the receptacle in the open position to ensure that the inclination defined by the orientation device forms an angle A that differs from the horizontal plane. Most preferably, angle A also differs from the vertical plane to ensure smooth recovery of the capsule from the device. Preferably, angle A with respect to the horizontal plane is comprised between 5 and 90 degrees, more preferably between 10 and 75 degrees.
[0021] The capsule is preferably oriented at an inclination towards a capsule collection space such as a compartment or the like. For space saving reasons, the capsule collection space can also be a space outside the beverage production apparatus.
[0022] In a preferred configuration, the cover is hinged to a part of the appliance housing in such a way as to tilt with respect to the receptacle at the moment of the closed to the open position. Alternatively, the cover can be fixed and the receptacle can be hinged to a part of the appliance housing in such a way as to tilt with respect to the fixed cover in the movement from the closed position to the

7/21 open.
[0023] In a possible solution, the cover is articulated along a geometric axis that is perpendicular to a cover extension arm connecting to the joint. In an alternative, the cover is articulated along a geometric axis that is longitudinal to the extension arm of the cover connecting to the joint. In another alternative modality, the cover is articulated in an articulated way along both geometric axes perpendicular and longitudinal to the extension arm. In all of these solutions, the cover is moved relatively away from the receptacle and assumes an angular position allowing the capsule to slide along the inclination defined by the position of the cover with respect to the receptacle.
[0024] According to a preferred configuration, the extraction and orientation device comprises a fastener configured to capture the capsule by engaging under a ring arranged around an upper edge of the capsule.
[0025] The orientation device is preferably formed by the fastener to guide the capsule along the inclination.
[0026] The fastener has opposite elements arranged, preferably symmetrically, on each side of the cover.
[0027] Opposite elements are preferably attached to the cover in order to allow the opposite element to be moved or spread under the force of a spring.
[0028] According to a preferred configuration the guiding extraction device comprises a fastener having opposing elements arranged symmetrically on each side of the cover. The capsule is provided with an RO around its upper edge which is directed upwards when the capsule is inverted in the receptacle. When opening the receptacle cover, the fastener is activated in such a way as to position its elements under the rim of the capsule that is raised

8/21 thanks to a spring on the bottom of the capsule. The two opposite elements of the fastener arranged on each side of the capsule move together with the receptacle cover which is angled at an angle to the receptacle. The fasteners comprise linear or curved guiding parts to assist in sliding the capsule in a substantially linear or curved direction. The angle is defined in such a way that the capsule slides along the elements of the fastener by the action of gravity until it falls into a container located in the vicinity of the receptacle.
[0029] The invention also relates to a device for recovering a capsule in a beverage production apparatus comprising a housing, a cover and a receptacle for receiving said capsule containing a beverage ingredient, the cover and / or the receptacle being movable between a closed receptacle position and an open receptacle position, the device being characterized by the fact that it comprises:
at least one extraction device for extracting and capturing the capsule when inserted in the receptacle, said extraction device being configured to be activated at the opening of said receptacle;
at least one orientation device coupled to the extraction device and configured to be activated after extraction of the capsule and to guide the capsule in sliding in an inclination, said inclination being defined by an angular position of the cover with respect to a horizontal plane;
where the extraction device comprises a fastener configured to capture the capsule; such a fastener also forming said guidance device; said fastener comprising at least two elements configured to capture the capsule and form

9/21 the inclination along which the capsule slides, said elements are also preferably configured to allow the opposite element to be moved or spread under the force of a spring from the open position of the receptacle to the closed position of the receptacle.
[0030] In particular, the elements of said fastener are moved or spread from said position to another by engaging the two elements on a surface of the housing and / or receptacle.
[0031] As previously mentioned, the fastener elements are preferably opposite elements arranged symmetrically on each side of the cover. They can be joined in a pair of supports; each arranged on the cover and connected to at least one spring. [0032] The present invention further relates to a method of recovering a capsule in a beverage production apparatus by the device described above, the method comprising the steps of:
opening the receptacle by moving the cover or receptacle;
activating the extraction device by raising the capsule so that the rim of the capsule is disengaged from the receptacle and securing the capsule;
activating the orientation device for orienting the extracted capsule in sliding along an inclination, said inclination being defined by the angular position of the cover with respect to a horizontal plane.
[0033] More particularly, the invention relates to a method of recovering a capsule in a beverage production apparatus comprising a mobile cover with respect to a receptacle for receiving said capsule containing the beverage ingredient, to be covered

10/21 ture being articulated to a part of the appliance housing in such a way as to tilt the cover according to an angle between a closed position of the receptacle and an open position of the receptacle, the method comprising the steps of:
open the receptacle cover;
activating a fastener having elements arranged on the cover and a spring located between the bottom of the receptacle and the bottom of the capsule;
lift the capsule by the spring so that the rim of the capsule is disengaged from the receptacle;
capture and extract the capsule from the receptacle by elements of the fastener, moving, each one against each side of the capsule raised by the engagement under the capsule rim;
slide the extracted capsule through the fastener elements forming an inclination towards a capsule collection space, said inclination being defined at an angle that is determined by the angular position of the cover with respect to the receptacle in the open position.
[0034] The objective is achieved through the characteristics of the independent claims. The dependent claims further develop the central idea of the present invention.

Detailed Description of the Invention [0045] The exploded view of figure 1 represents different elements of a beverage production apparatus surrounded by the capsule recovery device of the invention. The receptacle 1 for receiving a capsule 2 is located horizontally in a housing 20 of the apparatus so that its opening is directed upwards.
[0046] A cover 3 closes the receptacle 1 by the mechanical coupling with the housing 20 when the apparatus is operating and opens the receptacle 1 at the end of the beverage production. Opening the cover 3 leads to the extraction and recovery of the capsule 2 from the receptacle 1 so that a new capsule can be inserted into the empty receptacle 1. The opening of the cover 3 can be carried out by a known unlocking mechanism such as a lock activated manually or automatically when the apparatus stops after the production of the drink.
[0047] Preferably, the capsule comprises a body containing beverage ingredients such as ground coffee. The body can be closed by an upper wall such as a membrane (removed in the figure
1). The capsule is provided with a rim 8 arranged on its upper edge directed outwards towards the cover 3. This rim is formed by the assembly of the capsule body and by a joint seal of the upper wall or is formed only by the body.
[0048] The extraction device of the capsule recovery device comprises:
a fastener 6 provided with preferably two side elements 6 'and 6, each assembled in order to be joined in a pair of supports 9', 10 ', and 9, 10, each disposed in the cover 3. Es

13/21 These elements are connected to at least one spring 7 configured to close the fastener by moving its elements 6 ', 6 together when the cover 3 is opened;
at least one spring 4 arranged to lift the capsule upwards and preferably located between the receptacle and the bottom of the capsule. The spring 4 preferably arranged in the center of the bottom of the receptacle 1 is configured to push the capsule 2 upwards when inserted into the receptacle 1 and the cover 3 is opened. The spring 4 can have different shapes such as, for example, a spiral as shown in figure 1, or an extension or leaf spring or at least two retraction springs attached to the upper edge of the receptacle 1;
optionally, a capsule lift ejector 5 in the form of a container for receiving the capsule located in the receptacle on the spring 4 of its bottom. This container 5 can be optional. The capsule lift ejector 5 can also be a booster (instead of the container) that is positioned in a position offset from the capsule in the receptacle, but acting on one or more discrete parts of the capsule rim to disengage at least slightly. receptacle capsule 1.
[0049] The capsule recovery device guidance device comprises:
[0050] Elements 6 'and 6 of fastener 6 arranged in such a way as to form two side rails forming an inclination when the cover 3 is opened according to a predefined angle. The elements 6 ', 6 are arranged on the cover, dimensioned and spaced apart from each other to ensure a suitable sliding engagement with the rim 8 of the capsule at a given angle.
[0051] Each element 6 'and 6 preferably has a wire shape having a straight part 12', 12 constituting the slope tracks. The rectilinear parts 12 ', 12 can be parallel or slight

14/21 inclined with respect to each other when configured to orient the capsule 2. Each end of the rectilinear parts 12 ', 12 is provided respectively with a front folded part 14', 14, and a rear folded part 13 ', 13 connecting the straight portion 12 ', 12 to a corresponding front support 9', 9 and rear support 10 ', 10 arranged respectively on the front and rear side of the cover
3. The straight parts 12 ', 12 are thus arranged on each side of the cover 3. The angle of inclination is defined by a difference between the length of the front folded part 14', 14 and the rear folded part 13 ', 13. In this example, the front folded part 14 ', 14 is longer than the rear folded part 13', 13.
[0052] The rear folded part 13 ', 13 of each element 6', 6 is provided with a notch 11 'respectively 11 disposed at the end of the inclination formed by the straight parts 12', 12. These notches 11 ', 11 are formatted and dimensioned to allow the passage of the rim 8 of the capsule 2 when exiting the slope.
[0053] The geometric axis b9 ', b9 of the front support 9', 9 is positioned at a vertical distance V and a horizontal distance H with respect to the geometric axis b10 ', b10 of the rear supports 10', 10 in order to allow the rectilinear part 12 ', 12 is sufficiently spread to the side when the cover 3 closes the receptacle 1, see below the description of figure 2.
[0054] In the case of an apparatus configured to rotate the capsule 2 during the preparation operation, the receptacle 1 comprises a rotary axis a1 allowing the rotation in the housing 20 which is immobile. A motor preferably integrated into the housing 20 under the receptacle 1 and coupled to the axis a1 ensures the rotation of the capsule 2.
[0055] The cover 3 comprises an external part 3 'and an internal part 3 mounted on an axis a3 arranged to rotate with respect to the external part 3' being in a fixed position. When coverage 3a
Petition 870200011534, of 01/24/2020, p. 18/35
15/21 closes the receptacle 1, the axis a3 of the inner part 3 is aligned with the axis a1 of the receptacle 1 allowing the rotation together, inside the fixed housing 20a, of the receptacle 1 closed by the inner part 3 of the cover 3. The direction of rotation R is indifferent or can be defined according to the device and / or the capsule design.
[0056] In short, the rotating parts are the receptacle 1 comprising the capsule lifting device made of spring 4 and capsule lifting ejector 5, the capsule 2 and the inner part 3 of the cover 3. The remaining parts such as the housing 20, the outer part 3 'of the cover 3 comprising the fastener 6 with its supports 9', 9, 10 ', 10 and the spring 7 are in non-rotating movement or static position.
[0057] The lateral and front transverse views of figure 2 illustrate the receptacle 1 containing the capsule 2 in closed position. Generally, the cover 3 is also locked to the housing 20 when the apparatus is in operation to maintain the capsule in the receptacle in compression against the spring, controlling the release of the centrifuged drink from the capsule through a flow restriction (such as a valve system at the interface between the capsule and the cover) while withstanding the internal pressure of preparing coffee or liquid. In that position, the elements 6 ', 6 of the fastener 6 are pulled to the side for placement in a zone on each side of the receptacle 1 by leaning on an external part of the housing 20 maintaining and surrounding the receptacle 1 so that they are fully disengaged of the rim 8 of the capsule 2. Particularly, in the devices with centrifugation, this widely spaced position of the elements 6 ', 6 prevents any interference with the capsule 2 in the rotation and the drink when leaving the capsule under the centrifugal forces. In fact, by centrifugation, the drink flows through the membrane at the top of the capsule, above the rim through a valve arranged on the inner face of the co
Petition 870200011534, of 01/24/2020, p. 19/35
16/21 cover, through the space between the outer wall of the receptacle 1 and the inner wall of the housing 20 keeping the receptacle 1 to finally be collected in a container below the receptacle 1 (not shown).
[0058] The spring 4 on the bottom of the receptacle is also compressed by the capsule 2 when closing the cover on the receptacle in its lowest position and to incline the rim 8 against the upper edge of the receptacle 1.
[0059] Optionally, the capsule is inserted in an elevation ejector 5 formed by a container located in the receptacle 1 tilting on the spring 4 at the bottom of said receptacle 1. The dimensions of the container are adapted to those of receptacle 1 in order to slide into the receptacle under the force of the spring 4. The container is configured to receive the capsule 2 in such a way that the rim 8 around the upper part of the capsule 2 protrudes from the upper edge of the container at the closure of the device.
[0060] This container can be used when the capsules of different depths are inserted in the receptacle 1 to guarantee a certain compression of the spring 4 whatever the distance between the bottom of the container and the bottom of the capsule 2. The lift ejector 5 can be removed when capsules 2 of the same depth and substantially corresponding to the depth of receptacle 1 are used.
[0061] In this particular example, the elements 6 ', 6 of the fastener 6 are oriented from the front to the back of the housing 20 of the apparatus and positioned respectively on the right and left side of the receptacle 1.
[0062] In a first embodiment as illustrated schematically by figure 6, the cover 3 is connected to a part of the appliance housing in the form of an arm piece 21 that rotates in
Petition 870200011534, of 01/24/2020, p. 20/35
17/21 around a joint 22 attached to the appliance housing. The geometric axis a22 of the joint 22 is perpendicular to a longitudinal geometric axis a21 of the arm piece 21 and arranged in such a way as to cover 3 slopes according to an angle C between receptacle 1 in the closed position and receptacle 1 in the open position. The length of the arm piece 21 depends on the design of the device and the space required to collect used capsules.
[0063] In a second embodiment as illustrated schematically by figure 7, the articulation 22 is in line with the arm piece 21 that rotates around its longitudinal geometric axis a21 to tilt the cover 3 according to the angle C between the position closed of the receptacle 1 and the open position of the receptacle 1. As in the first embodiment, the length of the arm piece 21 also depends on the design of the device and can additionally be reduced to the minimum length if the joint is positioned too close of receptacle 1.
[0064] In both above modes, the angular movement of the cover between the closed and open positions can be completed by a linear movement of the receptacle (arrow L1) or the geometric axis of articulation (arrow L2) in order to open sufficient space between the cover and the receptacle for the passage of the capsule, sliding towards the collection space. For example, receptacle 1 may move downward when the cover reaches angle C at the opening. In another configuration of the apparatus, the joint 22 together with the arm piece 21 and the cover 3 can move upward when the cover 3 is opened according to angle C while the receptacle 1 remains in position. These two linear movements L1 and L2 of the receptacle 1 and the cover 3 can also be combined in an additional device configuration.
[0065] In the examples in figures 2 to 5, cover 3 moves from
Petition 870200011534, of 01/24/2020, p. 21/35
18/21 according to the first modality by opening from the front around a joint located behind the receptacle 1 perpendicularly to the elements 6 ', 6 of the fastener 6.
[0066] Figure 3 illustrates the activation of the capsule recovery device when the cover 3 starts to open. The spring 4 is released and pushes the capsule 2 upwards, respectively, the capsule lift ejector 5 containing the capsule 2 in order to disengage the rim 8 from the edge of the receptacle 1. At the same time, the elements 6 ', 6 of the fastener 6 move upwards and inwards against the raised capsule 2 until they reach their final position under the rim 8 on each side of the capsule 2. This movement is activated by the spring 7 which changes from an extended state when the cover 3 is closed to a state released when the cover 3 opens. Clamp 6 and spring 7 are dimensioned and supplied with supports (not shown) in such a way as to hold the cap 2 by the rim 8 without grabbing the cap 2 which then needs to slide along the elements 6 ', 6 of the clamp 6 or more precisely along the rectilinear parts 12 ', 12 of the elements 6', 6. Obviously, the spring 7 can take various forms as long as the elastic impulse function on the side elements 6 ', 6 is achieved. For example, the spring can be integral with elements 6 ', 6.
[0067] The capsule 2 is thus captured by the elements 6 ', 6 of the fastener and extracted from the receptacle, respectively from the lift ejector 5 when the cover opens until a predefined angular position of the rectilinear parts 12', 12 of the elements 6 ', 6, that is, the angle A, as illustrated by figure 4.
[0068] As the fastener 6 is coupled to the cover 3, the straight parts 12 ', 12 of the elements 6', 6 are inclined according to an angle A close to the opening angle C of the cover 3. They form two substantially rails parallels capable of causing the capsule 2 to slide according to an inclination having the
Petition 870200011534, of 01/24/2020, p. 22/35
19/21 angle A with respect to a horizontal plane parallel to the receptacle 1. The inclination directs the capsule 2 to fall under the action of gravity G within a capsule collection space that preferably consists of a compartment (not shown) located behind the receptacle
1. The notches 11 ', 11 in the elements 6' and 6 prevent the rim 8 from reaching the rear folded parts 13 ', 13 of the elements 6', 6 attached to the cover 3 when the capsule 2 leaves the slope in the open position of the receptacle to fall into the collection space.
[0069] The value of angle A with respect to the horizontal plane is determined in such a way as to slide a capsule of any depth and weight that can be properly inserted into receptacle 1 with or without capsule lift ejector 5. Angle A can be constituted between 5 and 90 degrees with respect to the horizontal plane, more preferably between 10 and 75 degrees with respect to the horizontal plane. The minimum angular value is defined as being sufficient to lift the capsule 2 out of the receptacle 1 while the maximum angular value is defined to be sufficient to cause the capsule 2 to slide on the elements 6 ', 6 of the fastener.
[0070] Figure 5 illustrates the closing phase of the cover 3 after a new capsule has been inserted in the receptacle 1. The elements 6 ', 6 of the fastener 6 that were turned downwards by the recovery of the previous capsule, push the new capsule down into receptacle 1 and at the same time are progressively pushed aside through the capsule 1 first by contact with the top of the capsule and then with the receptacle housing 1. The springs 7 connecting the elements 6 ', 6 extend allowing the elements 6 ', 6 to be positioned in the same final position on each side of the receptacle as in figure 2 illustrating the closed receptacle.
[0071] Spring 4 at the bottom of the receptacle is compressed to the same

20/21 time when elements 6 ', 6 of fastener 6 are pushed aside. The rim 8 of the capsule 2 tilts again at the upper edge of the receptacle 1. Finally, the cover 3 is preferably locked in the housing 20.
[0072] Figures 8 and 9 illustrate a possible additional modality where the cover 3 is in a fixed inclined position while the receptacle 1 moves downwards in relation to the cover 3. This modality can also be applied to an apparatus configured to rotate the capsule 2.
[0073] The cover 3 is fixed with an arm piece 31 to a part of the housing such as a support 30 integral with the housing of the apparatus (not shown) in an angular position with respect to a horizontal plane according to an angle C As illustrated in figure 8, the receptacle 1 opens by downward oscillation according to an angle B with respect to the horizontal plane thanks to an arm piece 32 articulated to the support 30. In an example of a particular mechanical configuration, the open position of the receptacle it is determined with supports provided by a rod 38 hinged around the axes 34 and 36 at each end of the rod 38 by sliding in corresponding partitions 35 and 36 respectively in the arm piece 32 and in the support 30. An axis 33 at the hinged end of the part arm 32 fixed to the support 30 and coupled to a motor ensures the opening and closing movement of the receptacle 1 which is mounted on the other end of the arm piece 32.
[0074] At the opening of the receptacle 1, the elements 6 ', 6 of the fastener 6 extract the capsule 2 raised by the spring 4 at the bottom of the receptacle 1 and capture it through the rim 8 as in the previous modality. The capsule 2 is then positioned to slide on the elements 6 ', 6, which form a slope having an angle A defined by the geometry of the elements 6', 6 and the angle C of the cover 3. The angle value
Petition 870200011534, of 01/24/2020, p. 24/35
21/21 lo A is in the same range as one of the previous modality. The angle B between the horizontal plane and the arm piece 32 carrying the receptacle 1 in the open position is determined according to the size of the capsule and the space required by it to slide freely (arrow G) on the elements 6 ', 6 in the direction collection space. In addition, the open angular position of the receptacle is also defined to facilitate the insertion of a capsule into the receptacle 1 by a sufficient separation between the top of the receptacle 1 and the elements 6 ', 6 of the fastener 6.
[0075] In the closed position as shown in figure 9, the receptacle 1 containing the capsule 2 leans against the fixed cover 3. The elements 6 ', 6 of the fastener 6 are pulled aside to be positioned on each side of the receptacle 1 and the spring 4 at the bottom of the receptacle is compressed by the capsule 2. As in the previous embodiment, the capsule 2 can also be inserted into a lifting ejector located in the receptacle 1 by tilting at the spring 4 at the bottom of said receptacle 1.
[0076] In the case of a centrifuge, the cover 3 is provided with a rotating internal part whose geometrical axis a3 is aligned with the geometrical axis a1 of the container 1. The receptacle 1 thus rotates around a coupled axis to a motor preferably housed in the arm piece 32 under the receptacle 1.
[0077] In an additional embodiment, both the cover 3 and the receptacle 1 can be moved from the closed receptacle position to the open receptacle position, that is, in a combination of movements according to figures 2 to 7 and of according to figures 8 to 9. When the receptacle opens, the capsule 2 is extracted and slides along the elements 6 ', 6 of the fastener 6 until it falls into the collection space.
