DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a coupling device for connecting a drawer, or other sliding component of furniture, to a detachable part of a longitudinal guide for drawers or others, particularly suitable for connecting, in a controllable manner, the front part of a drawer with the detachable part of a pre-assembled guide.
In furniture, the use of coupling devices is generally known, for obtaining a front and / or lower connection of the drawers to the front end of a removable part of the longitudinal guides, which can be fixed to the internal sides of a furniture, the devices traditionally comprising a support body that can be attached to the front and / or bottom part of the drawer, a removable latching device protruding from the body itself, in order to engage a hole or side cavity of the removable part of the guide and device and appropriate manual control operatively connected to the coupling devices, in order to allow the disengagement of the guide drawer. The traditionally known coupling devices can be supplied with suitable adjustment devices capable of allowing displacement in a lateral direction and / or in height of the front part of the drawer, in order to regulate the mutual position of the front parts of the drawers, allowing an aesthetic result appreciable.
However, over the years the need arose to also place a frontal adjustment of the drawer in a longitudinal direction, in particular, the need arose mainly with reference to the ergonomics developed to close the drawers, which led to a more widespread use of the longitudinal guides featuring automatic drawer closure systems, usually referred to as the "self-closing" type.
Such closing systems, in fact, provide a stopping device that defines the final closing position of the front part of the drawer, so if the longitudinal guides are imprecisely attached, there is a possibility that the front part will stop at a separate position of the furniture, resulting in a little aesthetic.
Similar problems have also arisen with reference to the use of longitudinal guides featuring drawer pressure release and ejection systems, commonly referred to as the "push" type, developed within the well-established design trend, with the aim of eliminating any handle or grab hand.
In fact, in order to activate the release mechanism of such "impulse" systems, it is essential that the front part of the drawer stop at a well-defined distance from the furniture; therefore, in the case of imprecise fixing of the longitudinal guides, the front part of the drawer can be located very close to the furniture, with a consequent lack of space for the mechanism to release and push the mechanism, or it can become very detached from the furniture, with consequent aesthetic disadvantages.
In order to eliminate the problems and inconveniences mentioned above, separate adjustment devices are traditionally provided, applied between the front part and the side walls of the drawer, in order to adjust the position of the front part properly in a longitudinal direction.
However, such a solution leads to greater constructive complexity of the drawer and higher costs due to the need to provide for additional adjustment devices as mentioned above. Order US20004 discloses a device for engaging a drawer with a longitudinal guide in the preamble of claim 1.
The objective of the present invention, therefore, is to provide a coupling device for connecting a detachable drawer with a piece of a longitudinal guide for drawers, which allows to overcome the limitations and disadvantages of known devices. Within this technical task, a main purpose of the present invention, therefore, is to provide a coupling device of the type mentioned above, which is constructively simple, and allows to correctly position the front part of the drawer, without the need to provide adjustment devices separate from the front part properly.
In addition, an additional objective of the present invention is to provide a coupling device of the type mentioned above, which is extremely versatile for making the different adjustments necessary for the correct positioning of the front part of the drawer.
These and other objectives of the invention are achieved by a device that engages a drawer with a longitudinal guide, which comprises a support body that can be fixed to the front part and / or bottom part of the drawer and provided with an oscillating control lever. a coupling member of the support body to the guide, characterized by the fact that said support body has a first body part that can be fixed to the drawer and at least a second body part slidably connected to said first part of body and which can be positioned in an adjustable way, at least in the longitudinal direction of the guide, said lever and said coupling organ being solidly limited in said second body part as to its displacement in the longitudinal direction of the guide, the first locking device adjustment being additionally provided with variation of the position of said second body part in relation to the first body part, in the longitudinal direction of the guide, in order to adjust the position drawer with respect to the guide in the longitudinal direction of the guide.
Preferably, said second body part supports the second adjustment device capable of varying the position of the support body in a first direction that is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide to adjust the height of the position of the drawer in relation to the guide.
Preferably, said second adjustment device comprises a wedge-shaped element engaged with said second body part with a geometric axis of rotation oriented in the first direction.
Preferably, said second adjustment device further comprises a handgrip element for activating said wedge-shaped element.
Preferably, said second adjustment devices are positioned on a side opposite to said first adjustment device in relation to the oscillation fulcrum of said lever. Preferably, said support member has at least one third body part slidably connected to said first body part and which can be positioned in an adjustable way in a second direction, which is at the same time parallel to the plane of the drawer and orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the guide, said second body part being additionally connected to said third body part in a sliding way, and being positioned in an adjustable way in the longitudinal direction of the guide, the third guide adjustment device being provided so varying the position of the assembly comprising said second and third body parts with respect to said first body part in said second direction for lateral adjustment of the position of the drawer in relation to the guide.
Preferably, said third adjustment devices are positioned on the same part of said first adjustment device, in relation to the oscillating support point of said lever. In a first preferred embodiment of the invention, said adjustment devices comprise a first wheel coaxially screwed into an endless screw, where the wheel is also connected to said first body part, that is, it presents a single degree of release rotation around of its own axis, said worm thread being fixed to said second body part with the orientation in the longitudinal direction of the guide.
Preferably, said wheel is placed in a seat provided in said first body part, in which an access window is superimposed, provided in said second body part for manual activation of the wheel.
In a second preferred embodiment of the invention, said adjustment devices comprise a first cylindrical pin rotatably retained in a cylindrical guide hole provided in said third body part and a cam supported by said pin, in an eccentric position and engaged in a groove provided in said second body part.
In such a case, said first adjustment devices additionally comprise a hand grip element for activating said meat.
In said preferred second embodiment of the invention, said third adjustment devices comprise a cylindrical pin rotatably contained in a cylindrical guide hole provided in said first body part, and a cam supported in an eccentric position by said pin and engaged in a slot provided on said third body part.
In such a case, said third adjustment device further comprises a hand gripping element for activating said meat.
The above description will now be illustrated with reference to some preferred, but not limiting, embodiments of the invention, based on the accompanying drawings, in which:

Equivalent parts in the various preferred embodiments of the present invention are indicated with the same reference number.
With reference to the figures cited, a latching device 1 of a drawer 2 is shown with respect to a removable part 14 of a longitudinal guide 3 fixed on an internal side of the furniture side housing the drawer 2.
The coupling device 1 comprises a support body 4 positioned on the outer side of the bottom of the drawer 2, at an angle between the front piece 5 of the drawer 2 and a shoulder 6 of the drawer 2.
The support body 4 is provided with an oscillating control lever 12 of an engaging member 13 of the support body 4 for the guide 3.
The locking member 13 is movable between a position of locking drawer 2 on the removable part 14 of the guide 3, in which it engages in a seat 15 manufactured on the removable part 14 of the guide 3 and a release position, in which it is disengaged of headquarters 15.
Advantageously, the support body 4 has a first body part 16 that can be fixed to the drawer 2 and at least a second body part 17 that is slidably connected with the first body part 16 and that can be positioned in an adjustable manner at least in the longitudinal direction of the guide 3.
The lever 12 and the coupling member 13 are solidly contained in relation to said second body part 17, when displacing it in relation to the first body part 16, in the longitudinal direction of the guide 3.
In particular, the lever 12 is pivoted on the second body part 17 with a pivot shaft 29, and is made of a single piece, both with the latching member 13 and the hand grip element of the lever 12 mutually positioned on sides opposite to the geometric axis of articulation 29 of lever 12.
The lever 12 can swing in the direction by placing the engaging member 13 in the release position, in contrast to an elastic element 31 for automatic reloading of the engaging member 13 in the engaging position.
The elastic element 25 comprises a flexible leaf spring also manufactured as a single piece with the lever 12 and having its free end resting on a stop 32 manufactured on the second body part 17.
Advantageously, the coupling device 1 has a first adjustment device capable of varying the position of the second body part 17 in relation to the first body part 16 in the longitudinal direction of the guide 3, for the frontal adjustment of the drawer 2, that is to say adjusting the position of drawer 2 with respect to guide 3 in the longitudinal direction of guide 3.
The second body part 17 also supports the second adjustment device capable of varying the position of the support body 4 in a first direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the guide and to the bottom 2, in order to adjust the height of the position drawer 2 with respect to guide 3.
The second adjustment devices are positioned on a side opposite said first adjustment device in relation to the pivot axis of the lever 12 and comprising a wedge-shaped element 39 articulated with respect to the second body part 17 with the pivot axis 40 oriented in said first direction, that is, parallel to the articulation axis 29 of the lever 12, and a hand grip element 41 for driving the wedge element 39, obtained in a single piece with the same.
Reference will now be made specifically to the first preferred embodiment of the invention illustrated in figures 1 to 4.
The first body part 16 has a base plate 18, which can rest on the outer side of the bottom of drawer 2.
The base plate 18, at its front end has an orthogonal fin 19 designed to rest on the inner side of the front piece 5 of the drawer 2, on its outer edge two orthogonal fins 20, and on its outer lateral edge an orthogonal fin 21 designed , in cooperation with the fins 20, to guide the sliding of the second body part 17 in the longitudinal direction of the guide 3.
The base plate 18 and the fins 19 have holes 22, 23 for fixing the first body part 16 of the drawer 2.
The outer lateral edge of the base plate 18 has two mutually parallel counterbalance lengths from which two fins 20 project in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the guide 3, in order to create such a positioning space for the front end of the part removable part 14 of the guide 3, which is therefore laterally confined between the innermost fin 20 and the shoulder 6 of the drawer 2.
The second body part 17 has a base plate 25 that has mutually counterbalanced orthogonal parallel fins 26 that slide in engagement with the orthogonal fins 20, 21 of the base plate 18 to guide the sliding of the second body part 17 in the direction longitudinal guide 3.
The outer lateral edge of the base plate 25 also has two mutually balanced fins 26 in order to bring the fins 20 closer to the base plate 18, in order to delimit the positioning space of the front end of the removable part 14 of the front guide.
The base plate 25 has suitable slots 27, in which sliding teeth 28 engage protruding from the base plate 18, for the mutual coupling between plates 18 and 25 with parallel orientation and suitable to allow the sliding of the base plate 25 with respect to the base plate 18 in the longitudinal direction of the guide 3. The first adjustment devices comprise a wheel 33 coaxially screwed to an endless screw 34.
The wheel 33 is connected to the first body part 16, in order to have a single degree of rotation release around its own axis, while the worm 34 is fixed to said second body part 17 and oriented in the direction longitudinal guide 3. Specifically, the wheel 33 is positioned in a seat 35 provided in the base plate 18 and has shoulders 71 that axially block the wheel 33 and apically presents an arcuate profile 72 to house the worm 34.
An access window 36 is superimposed on the seat 35, the same provided on the base plate 25 for the manual activation of the wheel 33.
The endless screw 34 has a flat head 37 housed in a seat 38 of a wall that delimits the front side of the access window 36, provided in the base plate 25.
Substantially the wheel 33, during rotation, not being able to translate, acts in translation in the longitudinal direction of the guide 3, the endless screw 34 and, consequently, the base plate 25, the lever 12 and the integral coupling member 13 with it. In this way, front adjustment of drawer 2 is achieved.
The height adjustment of the drawer can instead be achieved by rotating the wedge-shaped element 3 9 penetrating between the bottom of the drawer 2 and the guide 3. The angle of rotation of the wedge-shaped element 39 determines the quantity adjustment.
Reference will now be made to the second preferred embodiment of the invention, which differs functionally from the first, due to the fact that a lateral adjustment of drawer 2 is also possible.
In this case, the support body 4 also has a third body part 42 slidably connected to the first body part 16 and which can be positioned in an adjustable way in a second direction orthogonal to both said first direction and said second direction longitudinal guide 3.
The second body part 17 is additionally slidably connected with the third body part 42 and can be positioned in an adjustable way in the longitudinal direction of the guide 3.
Third adjustment devices are additionally provided which are capable of varying the position of the assembly comprising the second and third body parts 17 and 42 with respect to the first body part 16 in said second direction for lateral adjustment of the position of the drawer 3 regarding guide 2.
The third adjustment devices are positioned on the same part of the first adjustment device with respect to the oscillating fulcrum of the lever 12. The first body part 16 comprises a base plate 44, the second body part 17 comprises a base plate 45 and the third body part 42 comprises a plate 46 interposed between the base plates 44 and 45.
Also in this case, the outer lateral edge of the base plates 44 and 45 has a positioning space for the front end of the removable part 14 of the guide 3. The base plate 45 has first slots 47 in which the first tooth 48 is slidably engaged, emphasizing the base plate 44 for mutual engagement between plates 4 and 45 with appropriate parallel orientation to allow the base plate 45 to slide in relation to plate 44 in the longitudinal direction of the guide 3 for the front adjustment of drawer 3 and second slots 49 in which the second tooth 50 engages slidably protruding from the plate 44 for mutual engagement between plates 44 and 45 with parallel and appropriate orientation to allow the plate 45 to slide relative to plate 44 in said second direction for adjustment side of drawer 3.
The plate 46 is coupled to the plate 44 so that it can slide orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the guide 3, additionally being integral with the plate 44 itself, in the longitudinal direction of the guide 3, through guide ribs 51 provided in the plate 44 and cooperating with the front and rear edges of the plate 46, in order to slide the guide plate 46 relative to the plate 44 in said second direction. Plate 46 also becomes integral with plate 45 in said second direction by a projection 52 provided on plate 46, which extends in the longitudinal direction of the guide 3 and is slidably engaged in a recess 70 in conjunction, provided in plate 45 in order to slide the plate 45 in the longitudinal direction of the guide 3 with respect to plate 46.
The first adjustment devices comprise a cylindrical pin 53 hingedly connected within a cylindrical guide hole 54 provided in the plate 46, and a circular shape 55, supported by the pin 53 in an eccentric position and engaged in an elongated hole 56 provided on the plate base 45.
The first adjustment device further comprises an element 57 for actuating the cam 55.
The handgrip element 57 protrudes radially from the portion of the meat 55 external to the elongated orifice 56.
For the front adjustment of the drawer 2, the gripping element 57 is rotated, activating the eccentric meat 55, which, in turn, interferes with the elongated hole 56, in order to trigger the translation of plate 45 in relation to plate 46 in the longitudinal direction of the guide 3. The third adjustment devices comprise a cylindrical pin 58 hingedly connected to a cylindrical guide hole 59 provided in the plate 44, and a circularly shaped meat 60 supported by the pin 58 in an eccentric position and engaged in an elongated hole 61 provided in the plate 46.
The third adjustment devices additionally comprise a hand grip element 62 for activating the meat 60.
The hand grip member 62 protrudes radially from the meat portion 60 to the outside of the elongated orifice 61.
For the lateral adjustment of drawer 2, the handgrip element 62 is rotated, activating the eccentric cam 60, which, in turn, interferes with the elongated hole 61, thus activating the integral translation of the plates 45 and 46 in relation to the plate 44 in said second direction.
The height adjustment of the drawer is carried out in a similar way to the case previously described for lever activation 41.
The present invention, therefore, provides a particularly simple and versatile coupling device for carrying out the correct frontal and possibly lateral and height adjustment of the drawer.
Naturally, the coupling device according to the present invention can provide only frontal, or only frontal and lateral adjustment or only frontal and height adjustment or frontal, lateral and height adjustment. The coupling device thus conceived is susceptible to many modifications and variations, all within the inventive concept; and, in addition, all details can be replaced by technically equivalent elements.
In practice, the materials used, as well as the dimensions, can be of any type according to the needs and the state of the art.
