“AEROSOL DEVICE”
Technical Field [0001] This invention relates to an aerosol container for dispensing various types of liquids using an aerosol container having an inner bag diameter of 25.4 mm according to which different types of liquids can be dispensed and injected separately by independent aerosol valve systems.
Background of the Invention [0002] There are several types of aerosol products filled with liquid and propellant content. Among them, there are products according to which an excellent function can be obtained by mixing different types of content. Such products include, for example, hair dyeing agent, coating, adhesives and pharmaceutical products.
[0003] Many of such substances that must be mixed before use cause chemical reaction such as hardening and oxidation by the mixture, and therefore, when mixing is carried out in an aerosol valve, a case occurs in which the aerosol valve cannot be reused due to oxidation, hardening or similar cause. In such a case, therefore, it is preferable to dispense and inject such contents outside the aerosol valve, rather than mixing them inside the aerosol valve.
[0004] For this reason, in the two aerosol devices for dispensing liquid disclosed in the patent literature 1 below, for example, different liquid contents are filled in two different internal gas pressure bags, two passages communicating respectively with the internal bags they are formed in a single aerosol valve and these two liquid contents are dispensed and injected through the valve stem.
[0005] In the aerosol valve device for dispensing various types of liquid disclosed in patent literature 2 and 3 below, a plurality of rod operating openings are formed in a glass of
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 7/75 / 37 assembly mounted on an open head portion of an aerosol container, an aerosol valve is mounted in each of the rod's operating openings, an internal container is housed in an external container and the liquid to be treated contained in each of the inner container and the outer container is dispensed by the respective aerosol valves.
[0006] In the aerosol device disclosed in the patent literature 4 below, two aerosol containers are connected together and a common injection button is attached to each valve stem provided in a mounting cup in the upper end portion of each container and the liquid to be treated in the two aerosol containers is injected separately up to the injection button.
[0007] On the other hand, an aerosol container that is generally used as an aerosol container of the standard type of such an aerosol product, there is a so-called "25.4 millimeter (one inch) mug" that has an internal diameter 25.4 millimeters (one inch), has a rim formed along the outer periphery of its open head portion, and is closed by fixing a mounting cup, for example, by caulking.

Problem to be solved by the invention [0009] If it is intended to provide an aerosol product that can
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 8/75 / 37 dispense and inject various types of filled liquids into an aerosol container separately without mixing them through a so-called 25.4 mm mug that is often used as a standard type aerosol container, the device aerosol disclosed in patent literature 1 according to which two passages are formed in a single aerosol valve is compact and can be applied for that purpose, but has the problem that it is necessary to form two passages in the aerosol valve that is made of a small piece of material and this makes the structure complicated and, furthermore, when the stem is pushed down for injection, it is difficult to inject a uniform amount of liquid through the two passages.
[00010] In the aerosol device disclosed in patent literature 2 and 3 according to which the two aerosol valves are mounted on the mounting cup, when the mounting cup is attached to the rim along the outer periphery of the open head portion of the aerosol container, it is necessary to cause an expandable tongue located in a recess formed on the outer periphery of the mounting cup to expand externally. In the so-called inch mug, however, space to receive the tongue for squeezing cannot be guaranteed and, thus, the device of patent literature 2 cannot be applied.
[00011] Additionally, when two or more aerosol valves are provided, the area of the stem gasket is twice or more and, as a result, the surface area of the upper roof to which the internal pressure is applied will also become greater. Consequently, the device must be provided to address such a problem.
[00012] Additionally, in a case where several liquid contents, such as a hair dye that consists of a first agent that is a strong alkaline component and a second agent that is an acid component with an oxidizing property, it is necessary to fill and
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 9/75 / 37 store various liquid contents like these in the aerosol container without causing a reaction and without any problem.
[00013] The present invention was made to solve such problems of the prior art aerosol device. It is an object of the invention to provide an aerosol device for dispensing various types of liquids that can dispose two or more aerosol valves in an aerosol container with a 1-inch bore portion that is often used as a standard type container and that you can dispense and inject liquid contents separately without mixing.
[00014] It is also an objective of the invention to provide an aerosol container for dispensing various types of liquids that can prevent deformation due to the increase in the area of a portion of the stem gasket caused by having two or more aerosol valves.
[00015] It is yet another object of the invention to provide an aerosol container for dispensing various types of liquids according to which a hair dye consisting of a first agent that is a strong alkaline component and a second agent that is a component acid with an oxidizing property can be filled into a single aerosol container without any problem.
Means for Solving Problems [00016] To solve these problems, an aerosol device for dispensing various types of liquids of claim 1 comprises: an aerosol container with an open head portion with an internal diameter of 1 inch and formed with a bead in around the open head portion; a plurality of aerosol valves housed in the aerosol container each with a rod through which the liquid contents of each of the aerosol valves are injected outside; a mounting element that is fitted to the open head portion with an intermediate portion of the mounting element being located in the

[00017] In an aerosol device of claim 2, in addition to the structure defined in claim 1, the inner bag is made of a pouch. [00018] In an aerosol device of claim 3, in addition to the structure defined in claim 1, the aerosol device has two of the aerosol valves and the liquid contents consist of a hair dye comprising a first agent and a second agent, and a the first bag constituting the inner bag filled with the first agent is connected to one of the aerosol valves and a second bag constituting the inner bag filled with the second agent is connected to the other of the aerosol valves.
[00019] In an aerosol device of claim 4, in addition to the structure defined in any of claims 1-3, the stem of the plurality of aerosol valves is provided in such a way that it can be recognized from the outside.
[00020] In an aerosol device of claim 5, in addition to the structure defined in claim 4, the rod can be recognized by forming flat side walls and a curved side wall at an upper portion of the mounting element.
[00021] In an aerosol device of claim 6, in addition to the structure defined in any of claims 1-5 an element of
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 11/75 / 37 reinforcement cover that is able to retain the stem gasket and prevent deformation of the cover is provided between the mounting element and the cover.

[00024] In an aerosol device of claim 9, in addition to the structure defined in claim 8, the reinforcement cover element is provided with a portion of the base that covers, in addition to the projecting portion of the upper end, the mounting element.
[00025] In this specification, liquid contents mean not only initial liquids in liquid form that are filled in an aerosol container, but also initial liquids in a state of gel, foam or cream.
Advantageous Results of the Invention [00026] According to the aerosol device for dispensing various types of liquids of claim 1, the aerosol device comprises: an aerosol container with an open head portion with an internal diameter of 25.4 mm and formed with a ridge around the open head portion; a plurality of aerosol valves housed in the aerosol container, each with a stem through which the liquid contents of each of the aerosol valves are injected outside; a mounting element that is mounted to fit the open head portion
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 12/75 / 37 with an intermediate portion of the mounting element being located on the edge of the open head portion; a plurality of mounting portions of the valve housing provided in the mounting element, each being capable of mounting the aerosol valves; and a cover covering the outside of the mounting element, retaining a stem gasket and being fixed to the outside of the rim by means of a sealing gasket, said aerosol valve rods projecting out through the cover, in which an aerosol propellant is filled in the aerosol container and an inner bag that can vary the capacity of liquid contents filled therein is connected to each plurality of aerosol valves. Since several mounting portions of the valve housing are formed on the mounting element fitted in an open head portion with an internal diameter of 25.4 mm and the aerosol valve is mounted on each of these mounting portions of the valve housing, enough space to mount the aerosol valves can be guaranteed, compared to the previous technology mounting cup that tightens from the inside.
[00027] In addition, since the mounting element is mounted in an interlocked manner with the intermediate portion of the mounting element being located on the rim of the open head portion, the upper portions of the aerosol valves project from the portion of the head open and the outside of the mounting element is covered with the cap which is fixed to the outside of the rim by caulking or the like in a way to retain the stem gasket, several aerosol valves can be provided in a 25.4 mm.
[00028] Additionally, since a propellant is filled in the aerosol container and an inner bag that can vary the capacity of liquid contents filled in it is connected to each plurality of aerosol valves, each of the plurality of liquid contents can be dispensed and injected into the inner bag independently in a state
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 13/75 / 37 counter contact without influencing each other.
[00029] By this arrangement, each of the liquid contents can be filled into the inner bag of the aerosol container without influencing each other and liquid contents can be dispensed and injected separately without mixing the two or more aerosol valves and uniform amount of contents liquids or an amount of a predetermined ratio of liquid contents can be injected by each aerosol valve.
[00030] According to the aerosol device of claim 2, the inner bag is made of a pouch and, therefore, each of the liquid contents can be filled into the aerosol container pouch without influencing each other and liquid contents can be dispensed and injected by the aerosol valves connected to a plurality of bags in a separate state without mutual mixing. In addition, a uniform quantity of liquid contents or a quantity of a predetermined ratio of liquid contents can be injected from each aerosol valve whereby an aerosol product can be manufactured easily and inexpensively.
[00031] According to the aerosol device of claim 3, the aerosol device has two of the aerosol valves and the liquid contents consist of a hair dye comprising a first agent and a second agent, and a first bag constituting the inner bag filled with the first agent is connected to one of the aerosol valves and a second bag constituting the inner bag filled with the second agent is connected to the others of the aerosol valves. Therefore, the first hair dye agent and second agent can be filled in the first bag and the second aerosol container bag without influencing each other, and the first hair dye agent and second agent can be dispensed and injected from the aerosol valves connected in the first bag and the second bag separately without mutual mixing. Additionally, a uniform amount of liquid content or an amount of a ratio
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 14/75 / 37 predetermined liquid contents can be injected by each aerosol valve whereby an aerosol product can be manufactured easily and cheaply.
[00032] According to the aerosol device of claim 4, the stem of the plurality of aerosol valves is provided in such a way that it can be recognized from the outside and therefore, the stem of a plurality of aerosol valves can be identified on the outside, for example, coloring the stems whereby different liquid contents can be precisely filled in their respective inner bags. [00033] According to the aerosol device of claim 5, the rod can be recognized by forming flat sidewalls and a curved sidewall at an upper portion of the mounting element and therefore rods from a plurality of aerosol valves can be identified from the outside by the shape of the flat sidewalls and the curved sidewall at the upper portion of the mounting element, whereby different liquid contents can be precisely filled in their respective inner bags.
[00034] According to the aerosol device of claim 6, a reinforcement cap element which is able to retain the stem gasket and prevent deformation of the cap is provided between the mounting element and the cap. By placing the reinforcement cover element on the outside of the stem gasket, deformation and leakage of the stem gasket can be precisely prevented due to the internal pressure applied to a portion of the cover roof. [00035] By this arrangement, even when the provision of two or more aerosol valves causes an increase in the area of the stem gasket portion, deformation and leakage can be precisely prevented.
[00036] According to the aerosol device of claim 7, a retention device that is able to retain the reinforcement cover element in the mounting element is provided between the reinforcement cover element and the
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 15/75 / 37 mounting element. By providing the retention device such as a slot and a tongue that can fit together, the reinforcement cover element can be retained on the mounting element in an assembled state. By this arrangement, the lid can be fixed, for example, by stapling in the assembled state of the aerosol valves, whereby fabrication and assembly of the aerosol device can be facilitated.
[00037] According to the aerosol device of claim 8, a projecting portion of the upper end made in a substantially elliptical shape with parallel flat side walls, is formed in the upper portion of the mounting element and the reinforcement cover element covers the portion protruding from the upper end. By covering the reinforcement cover element forming the projecting portion of the upper end made in a substantially elliptical manner with parallel flat side walls on the mounting element, positioning can be facilitated by conducting the assembly based on the parallel flat side walls, whereby the assembly work can be done efficiently and the filling process to fill liquid contents in the aerosol container can also be done efficiently.
[00038] According to the aerosol device of claim 9, the reinforcement cover element is provided with a portion of the base which covers, in addition to the protruding portion of the upper end, the mounting element. By covering the entire protruding portion of the upper end and the mounting portion by the reinforcement cap element forming the base portion, the roof cap portion can be reinforced more precisely and deformation and leakage of liquid contents can be prevented.

Modalities for Carrying Out the Invention [00051] Modalities for carrying out the invention will now be described in detail.
[00052] In an embodiment of an aerosol device 10 for dispensing various types of liquids according to the invention, as shown in figure 1 and figure 2, a pair of aerosol valves 15, 15 is provided in an aerosol container 11 which is a 25.4mm mug with an internal diameter of 1 inch and a 12 rim which is generally used as a standard mug. Internal bags 18, 18 are connected to the respective aerosol valves 15, 15.
[00053] In this aerosol device 10 for dispensing various types of liquids, as shown in figures 1-4, a mounting element 13 made of synthetic resin is fitted and mounted on the rim 12 of the aerosol container 11. A pair of mounting portions of the valve housing 14, 14 is formed on the mounting element 13 and the aerosol valves 15, 15 are mounted on the mounting portions of the valve housing 14, 14.
[00054] This mounting element 13, as shown in figures 5 (a) - (d), has a main body of the mounting element 13a in a generally cylindrical shape. A portion of the flange 13b is formed on the outer periphery of the intermediate portion of the main body of the mounting element 13b and this portion of the flange 13b rests on the upper portion of the flange 12. Eight locking portions 13d each formed with a locking projection 13c which is fitted with the inner peripheral surface of the rim 12 are provided with an equal circumferential gap below the
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 18/75 / 37 flange portion 13b. The upper end portion of each of the locking portions 13d is connected to the main body of the mounting element 13a with radially extending radial ribs 13e and the locking portions 13d can be elastically deformed in a temporary storage space formed between the locking portions 13d and the main body of the mounting element 13a and, therefore, by pushing down the mounting element 13, the mounting element 13 can be fitted and mounted on the flange 12.
[00055] On the main body of the mounting element 13a fitted and mounted on the flange 12 of the aerosol container 11, the mounting portions of the valve housing 14, 14 which are parallel in the vertical direction and each of which has a small cylindrical shape , are provided on both sides of the central axis of mounting element 13. The mounting portions of the valve housing 14, 14 are supported on the main body of the mounting element 13a through the radial ribs 13e that support the locking portions 13d. The upper end portions of the valve housing mounting portions 14, 14 are located in a projecting portion of the upper end 13f of a substantially elliptical cylindrical shape that protrudes on top of the main body of the mounting element 13a and has a pair of parallel flat side walls 22, 22 and a pair of semicircle walls at the ends of the flat side walls.
[00056] At the inner periphery in the middle portion of the valve housing mounting portions 14, 14, locking tabs 14a are formed to engage the valve housing 16, 16 of the aerosol valves 15, 15.
[00057] Valve housings 16, 16 of aerosol valves 15, 15 mounted on the pair of mounting portions of valve housing 14, 14 are substantially cylindrical in shape and formed on the outer periphery
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 19/75 / 37 in its intermediate portion with staggered fitting portions 16a. By engaging the locking tabs 14a of the mounting portions of the valve housing 14 with the stepped fitting portions 16a, the valve housings 16, 16 are engaged with the mounting portions of the valve housing 14, 14 and attached to them.
[00058] Each of these valve housings 16 is formed in its upper portion with a valve chamber 16b and, in its lower portion, with a tube mounting portion 16c. A dip tube 17 is mounted on the tube mounting portion 16c. An inner bag 17 that can change its capacity by pressure applied by a propellant is also attached to the tube mounting portion 16c.
[00059] In each of the aerosol valves 15, 15 mounted in the valve chamber 16b, a stem 15a is integrally formed with a stem body 15b and a projecting portion of the stem 15c. An injection opening 15d is formed in the central portion of the projecting portion of the stem 15c and orifices 15e that communicate with the valve chamber 16b are formed on opposite sides of the projecting portion of the stem 15c at positions adjacent to the upper surface of the stem body 15b . The stem 15a and the stem body 15b which is integral with the stem 15a are propelled upwards by a spring 15f provided at the base of the valve chamber 16b. Each of the rods 15a penetrates a central opening of an annular rod gasket 15g which is opened and closed like a valve. In a state in which the stem 15a is pushed towards the upper end which is an ordinary position of the stem 15a, the holes 15e that open on opposite sides of the stem 15a are closed and communication between the valve chamber 16b and the injection port 15d thus it is interrupted. When the stem 15a is pushed down, the stem gasket 15g is bent to open the orifices 15e and in this way causes the valve chamber 16b to communicate with the injection opening 15d of the stem 15a.
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 20/75 / 37 [00060] The stem gasket 15g which is opened and closed as a valve extends both on the upper surface of the valve housing 16 and on the upper surface of the projecting portion of the upper end 13f of the mounting element 13 Sealing points 16d and 13g in the form of annular concentric projections are formed on the upper surface of the valve housing 16 and on the upper surface of the protruding portion of the upper end 13f of the mounting element 13 so that when the stem gasket 15g is pressed from above, surface pressure and increased and the sealing is thus carried out. In this embodiment, a gasket of the integral rod 15g is used in correspondence to the two rods 15a, 15a and this gasket 15g is formed to correspond to the shape of the upper surface of the generally elliptical cylindrical shape of the protruding portion of the upper end 13f. [00061] A cover 19 made of a metallic plate such as an aluminum plate is provided in a way to cover the mounting element 13 and the valve housings 16, 16. The two rods 15a, 15a protrude through the cover 19. The cap 19 retains the stem gasket 15g downwards and the peripheral portion of the lower end of the cap 19 is attached to the outside of the flange 12 of the aerosol container 11.
[00062] This cap 19 has a shape such that the upper portion of the cap 19 covers the outside of the protruding portion of the upper end 13f of the generally elliptical shape. A small diameter cylindrical portion, a large diameter cylindrical portion and a stapling portion are formed continuously below the highest portion. When the cap 19 is attached to the lip 12, a sealing gasket is disposed between the upper surface of the lip 12 and the flange portion 13b of the mounting element 13 and the cap 19 is stapled. The sealing property of the aerosol container 11 is thus improved.
[00063] In this aerosol device 10 to dispense various types of liquids, to perform the filling operation of the contents smoothly and
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 21/75 / 37 to adjust an amount of injected liquid flow, a lower valve chamber 16e is provided below each of the valve chambers 16b and a loop valve 21 is mounted in the lower chamber of valve 16e. When liquid contents are filled, the loop valve 21 is brought to its lower position to form a flow path around the loop valve 21 and thereby allow the filling of liquid contents in a short period of time. When the aerosol device is used after filling the liquid contents, the loop valve 21 is pushed upward by liquid contents and held in its upper position to control the amount of injection flow in the central flow path.
[00064] Therefore, by assembling the loop valves 21, it is not necessary to control the amount of injection flow in the holes 15e of the stem 15a and a large opening that does not affect the filling of the liquid contents can be formed.
[00065] In the aerosol device of this modality, the single gasket of the rod 15g corresponding to the two rods 15a, 15a is kept low by the cap 19. However, since the gasket area of the rod 15g is increased in correspondence to the area of the protruding portion of the upper end 13f, compared to a rod gasket corresponding to the single rod of the prior art and the area of the aerosol container 11 in which the internal pressure of the aerosol container 11 is applied is also increased, a reinforcement cap element 30 made synthetic resin is provided to keep the stem gasket 15g low and prevent deformation of the cap 19. [00066] This reinforcement cap element 30 includes, as shown in figure 6 (a) - (d), a main cap body 30a covering the surface outside the projecting portion of the upper end 13f of the mounting element 13 and holding the stem gasket 15g upwards and preventing deformation of the cover 19 due to the rigidity of the resi in the synthetic.
[00067] Retaining cover 19 through the reinforcement cover element
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 22/75 / 37
30, an increase in the pressure receiving area can be sufficiently competed using a relatively simple part.
[00068] As the reinforcement cap element 30, as shown in figures 7-10, showing another embodiment of the aerosol device for dispensing various types of liquids according to the invention, the reinforcement cap element 30 can be constructed as an element which has, in addition to a main body of the lid 30a covering the surface outside the projecting portion of the upper end 13f of the mounting element 13, a portion of the base 30b covering the main body of the mounting element 13a of the mounting element 13, which is formed continuously below the main body of the lid 30a. Forming this portion of the base 30b, it becomes possible to provide a holding device 31 for maintaining the reinforcement cover element 30 in the mounting element 13. As this holding device 31, for example, four laterally elongated slots 31a constituting the holding device retention 31 can be formed on the peripheral side walls of the base portion 30b and externally projecting tabs 31b can be formed in the corresponding positions of the main body of the mounting element 31 of the mounting element 13.
[00069] Maintaining the assembled state by fitting the slots 31a and the tabs 31b of the retention device 30 provided between the reinforcement cover element 30 and the mounting element 13, the aerosol valve 15 can be maintained in an assembled state even before covering the outside of the aerosol valve with the cap 19 and attaching the cap 19 to the rim 12 of the aerosol container 11. Therefore, manufacture and assembly of the aerosol device can be facilitated and the filling of a propellant before fixing it can also be facilitated.
[00070] The structure of the aerosol device in other aspects is the same as the structure of the previously described modality.
[00071] In a case where the cap 19 can prevent deformation in
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 23/75 / 37 Due to its material, plate thickness or similar motifs, the reinforcement cover element 30 can be omitted and the number of component parts can thus be reduced.
[00072] In the embodiments described above, the flange portion 13b is formed on the mounting element 13 and this portion of the flange 13b rests on the rim 12 of the aerosol container 11. Alternatively, the flange portion may be omitted and the portion intermediate part of the mounting element 13 can be positioned on the rim 12 in such a way that a part of the mounting element 13 projects upwards to cover a part of the cover 19 and is fixed on the rim 12. By this arrangement, the shape of the mounting element 13 will be simplified and the production of a mold will be easy.
[00073] In the aerosol container 11, as shown in figure 2, the inner bags 18, 18 are connected to the aerosol valves 15, 15 so that the liquid contents are injected simultaneously from two inner bags 18, 18 by means of a propellant filled in aerosol container 11. [00074] In a case where a hair dye, for example, is filled as liquid contents in this aerosol device 10, the first agent and the second hair dye agent are filled in the inner bags 18 , 18 and the first agent and the second agent can be injected in a separate state without mutual mixing, and these two agents can be simultaneously mixed at the predetermined quantity ratio by operating a touch of the user's finger.
[00075] As the inner bags 18, 18 for the first agent and the second hair dye agent, bags 18a, 18b, for example, can be used. In the first bag 18a in which the first agent is filled and the second bag 18b in which the second agent is filled, the first agent consisting of a dye and a strong alkaline component using ammonia as a main ingredient is filled in the first bag 18a, whereas the
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 24/75 / 37 second agent consisting of an acid component with oxidizing property using hydrogen peroxide as a main ingredient is filled into the second pouch 18b.
[00076] If two hair dye agents are housed in a single aerosol container 11, if the first agent component consisting of a strong alkaline component comes into contact with oxygen during storage of the first agent, chemical degradation will occur with deterioration resulting in a hair dye function and, if such contact of the component with oxygen continues, the hair dye function will finally be lost. It will therefore be necessary to prevent oxygen from the second agent from entering the first agent.
[00077] For this reason, as materials for forming the bags 18a, 18b mounted on the aerosol container 11, each of the bags 18a, 18b is made of laminated materials of a metallic film with an oxygen shielding property and an inner layer of a thermoplastic resin, or is made of a thermoplastic resin. At least one of the two bags is made of materials laminated from a metallic film and an inner layer of a thermoplastic resin.
[00078] As a metallic foil, an aluminum foil or an iron foil can be used. From the point of view of processing property, anti-corrosion property and economic advantage, aluminum foil is more suitable. The thickness of the metallic film is adjusted to about 5-100 pm. An outer protective layer of a thermoplastic resin should preferably be laminated to the outer surface of the metal foil. A coating film such as epoxy can also be provided on the surface of the metallic film.
[00079] If a plastic material with a high oxygen shielding property is used, a plastic film with deposited metal that does not employ a metallic film, for example, can be used.
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 25/75 / 37 [00080] As a pouch using a metallic foil, laminated materials made of a metallic foil and an inner layer of thermoplastic resin can be used, in which case the laminated materials should preferably be made of a foil layer metal, a layer of acid-denatured adherent thermoplastic resin and a layer of thermoplastic resin with a thermal sealing property. The metallic film should preferably be made of an aluminum film, the layer of thermoplastic resin with a heat sealing property should preferably be made of a polyolefin resin, and the layer of adherent acid-denatured thermoplastic resin should preferably be made of a polyolefin resin denatured by maleic anhydride.
[00081] A specific example of the bag is made of an outer layer material (single layer of PET or a single layer of nylon or two layers of PET and nylon) / an aluminum film / adhered denatured polyolefin / inner layer of polypropylene.
[00082] To prevent delamination due to the strong alkaline component in the acid dye for hair, a special adhesive layer is required. To deal with this problem, as a specific adhesive, an acid-denatured thermoplastic resin adhesive, particularly a maleic anhydride graft polyethylene resin, can be used to effectively and completely prevent delamination during storage before using the dye to hair. Due to this arrangement, delamination or corrosion of an aluminum film does not occur during the storage period normally required of six months at 40 o C, presenting excellent content qualities.
[00083] As the acid-denatured thermoplastic resin adhesive, thermoplastic resin with carboxyl group based on free carboxylic acid, carboxylic acid ester, carboxylic acid amide or carboxylic acid anhydride, or a composition (mixture) of this resin and other resin
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 26/75
21/37 thermoplastic can be used. In particular, thermoplastic resins such as a polyolefin that is chemically denatured by carboxylic acid such as maleic acid or acrylic acid, and a polyolefin obtained by grafting an unsaturated ethylene monomer with an atom group based on carboxylic acid anhydride such as acid anhydride maleic and itaconic acid anhydride can preferably be used. Particularly, from the point of view of adhesive function, polyolefin obtained by grafting maleic acid anhydride (low density polyethylene (LDPE)) can preferably be used.
[00084] In pouch 18b for the second agent consisting of an acidic component comprising hydrogen peroxide, delamination due to contained agents is not as strong as in the first agent and therefore dry laminating using a poly (ethylene terephthalate) resin '(PET) can be used. The second pouch can also be formed with materials laminated from an aluminum foil and a layer of PET laminated with a polyurethane adhesive.
[00085] In pouch 18a for the first agent too, laminated materials laminated using an adhesive polyurethane can be used.
[00086] Instead of laminated materials consisting of a metallic film and an inner layer of thermoplastic resin, the pouch can also be formed using laminated materials with a first layer consisting of an amorphous or low crystalline copolymer (so called COC) of an olefin and a cyclic olefin and a second layer consisting of an oxygen shielded thermoplastic resin.
[00087] COC is known as a normal material to form a layer for a container. As an olefin for copolymerizing COC which is an amorphous or low crystalline copolymer of an olefin and a cyclic olefin, ethylene is suitable. Like other suitable olefins, α-olefins with a carbon number of 3-20 such as propylene, 1-butene, 1-pentene, 1 Petition 870190029434, of 27/03/2019, p. 27/75 / 37 hexene, 1-octene, 3-methyl-1-pentene and 1-decene can be used simply or in combination with ethylene. As cyclic olefins, alicyclic hydrocarbon compounds with an unsaturated ethylene bond and a bicyclo ring such as alicyclic hydrocarbon compounds with a [2,2,1] hepto-2-en-bicycle structure can be used basically. A [4,3,0,1 2 - 5 ] -3-decene tricycle and tetracycl derivatives and other derivatives and those compounds with a substituent can also be used.
[00088] Like COC, a COC consisting of 10-50% cyclic olefin and another olefin and with a glass transition point of 5-200 o C is preferable, from the point of view of conformability, adhesion and shielding property of water.
[00089] As materials of the bags that are mounted on the container, laminated materials consisting of a metallic film and an inner layer of thermoplastic resin, for example, are laminated together using a polyolefin thermoplastic adhesive resin. To laminate these materials, an extrusion coating laminating method can be used according to which polyolefin thermoplastic adherent resin is extruded and laminated to a metallic film. A powder coating lamination method can also be used according to which polyolefin thermoplastic resin powder is deposited on a metallic film and the powder is heated and melted, for example, by high frequency heating, and a layer inner layer of thermoplastic resin in this way is laminated.
[00090] A description will now be made of the results of a test conducted on specific examples of bags 18a, 18b since the inner bags 18, 18 used for the aerosol device 10 to dispense various types of liquids with respect to a case where a hair dye is filled in the bags. The test examples, however, will in no way limit the scope of the present invention.
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 28/75 / 37 [Test conditions] [00091] In the test, two types of bag were used in which three layers are laminated and two types of bag in which four layers are laminated, totaling four types of bag. Each of these bags had a spout. Aerosol containers were prepared and in each of these containers, the first agent of a strong alkaline component and the second agent of an acid component with oxidizing property of a hair dye were filled in the amount of 50 g or 60 g. An intensification test of three months of storage at 45 o C was conducted with respect to these aerosol containers.
[00092] As a propellant, nitrogen gas (equilibrium pressure: adjusted to 0.48 MPa) was used.
[Measured items] [00093] As product characteristics, product pressure, injection status, pH values and weight measurements were conducted on the 20 bags. [00094] To estimate the appearance, presence or absence of delamination, pinhead holes, seal extraction and black spots were observed per eye with respect to 5 bags of the respective types of bags.
[Test Example 1] [00095] A bag with a three-layer laminate was used. The laminated layers were, from the outside, a PET layer with a thickness of 12 pm, an aluminum film with a thickness of 9 pm, and a layer of PP (polypropylene) with a thickness of 60 pm. A nozzle made of the same PP used for the inner layer was formed.
[00096] As a result of the test, no abnormalities in product pressure, injection status, pH values and weight measurements were measured. However, in appearance, as shown in table 1, no abnormalities were observed in the bags for the first agent,
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 29/75 / 37 but a blister was observed in one bag between five bags in which the second agent was filled.
[Test Example 2] [00097] A bag with a three-layer laminate was used. The laminated layers were, from the outside, a PET layer with a thickness of 12 qm, an aluminum film with a thickness of 9 qm, and a layer of PE (polyethylene) with a thickness of 60 qm. A nozzle made of the same PE used for the inner layer was formed.
[00098] As a result of the test, no abnormalities in product pressure, injection status, pH values and weight measurements were measured. However, in appearance, as shown in Table 1, no abnormalities were observed in the bags for the first agent, but a bubble was observed in all five bags in which the second agent was filled.
[Test Example 3] [00099] A bag with a four-layer laminate was used. The laminated layers were, from the outside, a layer of PET with a thickness of 12 qm, an aluminum film with a thickness of 9 qm, a layer of PET with a thickness of 12 qm, and a layer of PP (polypropylene) with a thickness of 60 qm. A nozzle made of the same PP used for the inner layer was formed.
[000100] As a result of the test, no abnormalities in product pressure, injection status, pH values and weight measurements were measured. However, in appearance, as shown in table 1, no abnormalities were observed in the bags for the second agent, but rupture was observed in the portion of the nozzle in a bag between five bags in which the first agent was filled.
[Test Example 4] [000101] A bag with a four-layer laminate was used. At
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 30/75 / 37 laminated layers were, from the outside, a layer of PET with a thickness of 12 pm, an aluminum foil with a thickness of 9 pm, a layer of PET with a thickness of 12 pm, and a layer of PE (polyethylene) with a thickness of 60 pm. A nozzle made of the same PE used for the inner layer was formed.
[000102] As a result of the test, no abnormalities in product pressure, injection status, pH values and weight measurements were measured. However, in appearance, as shown in Table 1, no abnormalities were observed in the bags for the second agent, but the occurrence of rupture in the nozzle portion was observed in a bag between five bags in which the first agent was filled.
[Estimate of Test Examples] [000103] From the results of the previous tests, it was observed that as for the first agent with a strong alkaline component of the hair dye, the bags of Test Examples 1 and 2, that is, the bag with the three layers in which the laminated layers were, from the outside, a 12 pm thick PET layer, a 9 pm thick aluminum foil, a 12 pm thick PET layer, and a layer of PP (polypropylene) with a thickness of 60 pm and with a nozzle made of the same PP used for the inner layer, or the bag with the three layers in which the laminated layers were, from the outside, a layer of PET with a thickness of 12 pm, an aluminum film with a thickness of 9 pm, and a layer of PE (polyethylene) with thickness of 60 pm and with a nozzle made of the same PE used for the inner layer, can be used without occurrence of any abnormality in product characteristics and in appearance estimation was going.
[000104] On the other hand, it was observed, as for the second agent with an acid component with an oxidizing property of the hair dye, the bags of Examples Tests 3 and 4, that is, the bag with the four layers,
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 31/75 / 37 in which the laminated layers were, from the outside, a 12 pm thick PET layer, a 9 pm thick aluminum foil, a 12 pm thick PET layer, and a layer of PP (polypropylene) with a thickness of 60 pm and with a nozzle made of the same PP, or the bag with the four layers, in which the laminated layers were, from the outside, a layer of PET with a thickness of 12 pm, a 9 pm thick aluminum foil, a 12 pm thick PET layer, and a 60 pm thick PE (polyethylene) layer with a nozzle made of the same PE can be used without occurrence of any abnormality in the product's characteristics and appearance estimate.
[000105] Preparing bags as inner bags with a different structure like that of layers and mounting these bags in the aerosol container 11, the first agent and the second hair dye agent can be filled and stored in a single aerosol container without any problem . By this arrangement, the first agent and the second agent can be injected simultaneously and mixed with each other at a ratio of predetermined quantity and aerosol products can be produced easily and cheaply.

[000106] A description will now be made about a process for assembling the aerosol device 10 to dispense various types of liquids and about filling the liquid contents and a propellant.
[000107] On the mounting element 13, the sealing gasket 20 for sealing with the rim 12 is attached to the lower surface of the flange portion 13b of the main body of the mounting element 13a.
[000108] In the valve housing 16, the loop valve 21 is mounted in the lower valve chamber 16e with a gap being formed around the loop valve 21 and then the dip tube 17 is connected to the tube mounting portion 16c at the lower end of the valve housing 16 and the bags 18a, 18b as the inner bags 18, 18 are mounted in such a way as to cover the dip tube 17 and attached to the surface outside the dip tube mounting portion 16c . This arrangement prevents a
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 33/75 / 37 accident that the bags 18a, 18b collapse in the intermediate portion, as a result of which remaining liquid contents cannot appear.
[000109] Then, the valve housing 16 to which the dip tube 17 and the bags 18a, 18b as the inner bags 18, 18 are attached, is mounted on the valve housing mounting portion 14 of the mounting element 13 a from the lower portion of the valve housing 16 and is secured in a predetermined position by engaging the stepped locking portion 16a with the locking tab 14a.
[000110] On the aerosol valve 15, the stem 15a and the spring 15f are mounted and then the stem gasket 15g is mounted on the aerosol valve 15 with the stem 15a projecting through the stem gasket 15g.
[000111] Then, the aerosol valve 15 assembled in the manner described above is mounted in the valve chamber 16b of the valve housing 16 in such a way that the stem gasket 15g is positioned on the upper surface of the mounting element 13 and the housing of valve 16.
[000112] As described above, a pair of aerosol valves 15, 15 is mounted on the mounting element 13 by means of the valve housings 16, 16 with the stem gasket 15g arranged in position. Then, the reinforcement cap element 30 is provided in a manner to hold the stem gasket 15g down. In addition, the surface outside the reinforcement cover element 30 is covered with the cover 19 and the mounting element 13 and the cover 19 are fixed, whereby the stem gasket 15g is pressed by the mounting element 13 and the sealing points 13g, 16d of the valve housing 16 and the aerosol valves 15, 15 are brought to a closed state.
[000113] In the state in which the mounting element 13 and the valve housing 16 are covered with the cap 19, the bags 18a, 18b as the inner bags 18, 18 are inserted into the open head portion of the container
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 34/75 / 37 aerosol 11 and the sealing gasket 20 is arranged on the lip 12 under the lower surface of the flange portion 13b.
[000114] In this state, the locking projections 13c of the locking portions 13d of the mounting element 13 mounted from the open head portion are not in a locked state and a gap is formed between the flange 12 of the aerosol container 11 and the mounting element 13. Therefore, the aerosol container 11 is in communication with the outside. [000115] In this state, a propellant is injected into the aerosol container 11.
[000116] Propellant filling is carried out, in the same manner as the prior art device, by arranging a propellant filling head around the cap 19, filling the propellant such as nitrogen gas in the aerosol container 11 through the gap between the flange 12 of the aerosol container 11 and the mounting element 13, pushing down on the mounting element 13 by the end of filling to bring into projections 13c of the projecting portions 13d in the engaged state and, after the mounting element 13 is engaged and assembled, stapling the stapling portion to the lower outer periphery of the cap 19 at the outer periphery of the rim 12.
[000117] In the state in which the cap 19 is stapled, the gasket 20 on the lower surface of the flange portion 13b of the mounting element 13 is pressed on the upper surface of the flange 12 to close the aerosol container 11 by means of which filling of the propellant and assembly of the component parts of the aerosol device 10 are completed.
[000118] Then, the first agent and the second hair dye agent as liquid contents of different types are separately filled in the bags 18a, 18b like the inner bags 18, 18 through the rods 15a, 15a. [000119] Since in the aerosol container 11 which is different from
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 35/75 / 37 aerosol container of the prior art, the two rods 15a, 15a are provided on opposite sides of the central axis and different liquid contents are filled in these rods, it is necessary in the filling process to position the aerosol container 11, and the liquid contents must be filled on the predetermined rods 15a, 15a. Since the projecting portion of the upper end 13f of the mounting element 13 is substantially elliptical in shape with parallel flat side walls 22, 22, the positioning of the rods 15a, 15a in the forward and backward directions and left and right directions can be easily done using the parallel flat side wall 22, and by conducting the filling on the rods 15a, 15a maintaining this position and identifying the rods, for example, coloring, the different liquid contents can be filled in the respective bags 18a, 18b like the inner bags 18, 18 separately.
[000120] Forming the projecting portion of the upper end 13f of the mounting element 13 in the form of the substantially elliptical shape with parallel flat side walls 22, 22 and using these parallel flat side walls 22, 22 in positioning the aerosol container 11 in the process filling, the two rods 15a, 15a are positioned in the forward and backward direction and left and right directions. Alternatively, as shown in figure 11 (a), the projecting portion of the upper end 13f of the mounting element 13 can be made in the form of figure 8, as seen in a plan view with parallel curved side walls 23, with a recess in the portion central on both sides. Using these curved side walls 23, 23, in the same way as the case of parallel flat side walls 22, 22, the two rods 13a, 13a can be positioned easily in forward and backward directions and right and left directions. Conducting the filling on the rods 15a, 15a while maintaining this state, the different liquid contents can be filled in the bags 18a, 18b like the inner bags 18, 18 separately and the rods can be filled
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 36/75 / 37 retained using precisely the central curved recesses.
[000121] In a case where this mounting element 13 is used, the reinforcement cover element 30 with a corresponding shape shown in figure 11 (d) must be used.
[000122] In a case where the positioning of the aerosol container 11 using the parallel flat side walls 22, 22 or the curved side walls 23, 23 on both sides, the two rods 15a, 15a can be positioned in forward and backwards and right and left direction, but in this case, the positioning of the stems 15a, 15a by discriminating these stems 15a, 15a from each other is not physically possible. In a case where, as shown in figure 12 (a). The projecting portion of the upper end 13f of the mounting element 13 is made in the form with a flat side wall 22 on one side and with a curved side wall 23 on the other side, using that flat side wall 22 and the curved side wall 23, the two rods 15a, 15a can be positioned not only in forward and backward and right and left directions, but also by discriminating one rod 15a from the other rod 15a. By conducting the filling on the predetermined rods 15a, 15a while maintaining this state, the different liquid contents can be precisely filled in the inner bags 18 separately and the rods can be retained precisely using the central recess of the curved wall 23.
[000123] In a case where this mounting element 13 is used, the reinforcement cover element 30 with a corresponding shape shown in figure 11 (d) must be used.
[000124] According to the aerosol device 10 for dispensing various types of liquids, two aerosol valves 15, 15 can be provided, even in a 25.4 millimeter (one inch) mug with a rim with an internal diameter of 25, 4 millimeters (one inch) and, by this arrangement, the first agent and the second hair dye agent
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 37/75 / 37 as liquid contents can be dispensed and injected by the rods 15a, 15a of the respective aerosol valves 15, 15 in the bags 18a, 18b like the inner bags and, thus, on the outside in a separate state without mixing .
[000125] Thus, the aerosol device that can dispense and inject two different liquid contents of the hair dye on the outside can be composed of a 25.4 millimeter (one inch) mug and, therefore, the aerosol device can be manufactured at a low cost. This also makes it possible to inject each of the liquid contents with a uniform amount of injection or a predetermined amount ratio of the two aerosol valves.
[000126] According to the aerosol device 10 for dispensing various types of liquids, the propellant is filled in the aerosol container 11 and the bags 18a, 18b as the inner bags 18, 18 which can vary the capacity of the liquid contents filled in them are connected to the pair of aerosol valves 15, 15. By this arrangement, two types of the liquid contents can be dispensed and injected in the state in which the liquid contents are separated from the bags 18a and 18b like the internal bags 18, 18 and, therefore, the liquid contents can be injected respectively without contacting the inner surface of the aerosol container 11.
[000127] Additionally, constituting the inner bags 18, 18 with the bags 18a, 18b, an aerosol product can be manufactured in which the first and second hair dye agents are filled.
[000128] According to the aerosol device 10 for dispensing various types of liquids the intermediate portion of the mounting element 13 is located on the rim 12 of the aerosol container 11 and the inserted portion of the stem 15a is located above the rim 12. For this reason arrangement, even if the two rods 15a, 15a of the two aerosol valves 15, 15 are placed side by side, they can be fixed on the outside of the rim 12 by the cap
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 38/75 / 37 covering the outside of the mounting element 13. In this way, it is not necessary to guarantee space to tighten inside as in the case of a previous technology mounting cup and, therefore, two aerosol valves 15, 15 and the bags 18a, 18b as the inner bags 18, 18 can be mounted on the aerosol container 11 without being restricted by the size of the rim 12 of a 1-inch mug.
[000129] With two aerosol valves 15, 15 in the 25.4 mm (one inch) mug with a 1-inch rim 12, the stem gasket 15g is a size corresponding to the two stems 15a, 15a and the portion area of the upper roof of the cap 19 which retains the stem gasket 15g downwards, as a result of which tends to occur deformation due to the increase in the pressure receiving area by the propellant. Since, in the meantime, the reinforcement cap element 30 made of a synthetic resin is provided between the stem gasket 15g and the cap 19, the cap 19 can hold the stem gasket 15g down without probability of deformation.
[000130] By this arrangement, leakage due to deformation of the 15g stem gasket can be completely prevented.
[000131] According to the aerosol device 10 for dispensing various types of liquids, the holding device 31 for retaining the reinforcement cover element 30 in the mounting element 13 is provided between the reinforcement cover element 30 and the reinforcement element assembly 13 and, for this purpose, slots 31a are formed in the base portion 30b of the reinforcement cover element 30 and the tabs 31b are formed in the main body of the mounting element 13a of the mounting element 13. In this way, the element of the reinforcement cover 30 can be retained in the mounting element 13 in an assembled state.
[000132] By this arrangement, the lid can cover the aerosol container 11 and can be attached to the container 11 with the aerosol valves 15, 15 and the inner bags 18, 18 in an assembled state and therefore it is not necessary
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 39/75 / 37 assembling the device, while retaining down the rods 15a, 15a which are energized by the springs 15f, 15f and manufacturing and assembly work in this way can be facilitated.
[000133] According to the aerosol device 10 for dispensing various types of liquids, a pair of the aerosol valves 15, 15 is provided, the projecting portion of the upper end 13f in a substantially elliptical manner with parallel flat side walls 22, 22 is provided formed and the reinforcement cover element 30 covering this protruding portion of the upper end 13f is clamped. In this way, positioning is facilitated by conducting the assembly based on the parallel flat side wall 22, 22 of the projecting portion of the upper end 13f and the assembly of the device in this way can be carried out efficiently and the filling process to fill liquid contents in the container aerosol 11 can also be done efficiently with respect to each of the rods 15a, 15a. In the case of adopting the shape of the protruding portion of the upper end 13f with the combination of the flat side wall 22 and the curved side wall 23, not only the positioning of the two rods 15a, 15a, but also discrimination of the two rods can be done by coloring the two rods 15a, 15a.
[000134] According to the aerosol device 10 for dispensing various liquids, the reinforcement cap element 30 has, in addition to the main cap body 30a covering the protruding portion of the upper end 13f, the portion of the base 30b covering the portion of the base of the mounting element 13. Covering the entire mounting element 13 including the base portion in addition to the protruding portion of the upper end of the mounting element 13, the upper ceiling portion of the cover 19 can be reinforced even more precisely by means of the that deformation due to internal pressure and leakage of liquid contents can be prevented even more precisely.
Petition 870190029434, of 03/27/2019, p. 40/75 / 37 [000135] In the aerosol device 10 to dispense various types of liquids, liquid contents are injected by attaching an actuator such as an actuator-type push button on both rods. Two different liquid contents can be injected in a separate state from an actuator or, alternatively, they can be injected after being mixed into an actuator. Such an injection method can be selected depending on the type of liquid contents and the purpose of using the liquid contents.
[000136] As liquid contents filled in the two internal bags of the aerosol device to dispense various types of liquids, not only a hair dye can be cited, but also, for example, a main preparation and an additive of an aerosol product that are not suitable for pre-mixing, because such a pre-mixed product causes a chemical reaction such as hardening or oxidation. The aerosol device is suitable, for example, for hot shaving creams, adhesives, coatings and pharmaceuticals. The aerosol device is also applicable to the liquid contents of foam preparations.
[000137] Description was made about a case where a bag is used as an inner bag. The inner bag is not limited to a bag, but it can be a formed body made of synthetic resin. The invention is not limited to a case where different inner bags are used depending on the liquid contents, but it is also applicable to a case where inner bags or bags of the same specification are used.
[000138] The aerosol device for dispensing different types of liquids is applicable not only to a case where two different liquid contents are dispensed and injected, but also to a case where three or more types of liquid contents are dispensed and injected.
