[0001] The present invention relates to articles of clothing and particularly articles of clothing such as absorbent disposable diapers, incontinence shorts or the like. [0002] Disposable diapers each comprising a front waist pad, a back waist pad and an intermediate pad connecting these front and back waist pads are known. For example, PATENT - DOCUMENT 1 (JP 2008508082 A) discloses such a disposable diaper including an intermediate pad having leg elastics attached thereto along opposite side edges transversely thereto to extend in a longitudinal direction. The respective side edges of the intermediate cushion define the respective leg openings so that the peripheral edges of the leg opening so that the peripheral edges of the leg openings can fit around the user's thighs under the contraction of the leg elastics and thereby preventing bodily fluids such as urine from leaking out of the diaper. [0003] With respect to leg elastics, PATENT DOCUMENT 1 (JP 2008-508082) reveals that these elastics can be attached to the intermediate pad at predetermined positions in the crotch region of the diaper or completely along the opposite side edges transversely of the pad. intermediary. However, no description of the specific extent to which the leg elastics can be attached to the intermediate padding can be found in the disclosure of PATENT DOCUMENT 1 (JP 2008-508082 A).[LIST OF QUOTES][PATENT DOCUMENT][DOCUMENT 1 - PATENT] JP 2008-508082 A [SUMMARY] [0004] An article of clothing according to one or more embodiments of the present invention comprises a chassis, a liquid-absorbent structure and a pair of sealing sheaths, the chassis having a longitudinal direction, a transverse direction, a side facing skin side, a side opposite the skin side, a front waist region, a back waist region and a crotch region that extends between the front and back waist region, the structure that extends across the crotch region inward of the front and back waist regions, and the sealing hems being at the outer edge of the liquid-absorbent structure in the transverse direction, where the front and back waist regions include the front and back waist elastics attached thereto in a contractile state at the transverse direction and the sealing sheaths include sealing elastics attached thereto in a contractile state in the longitudinal direction. [0005] In the article of clothing described above, the rear waist region comprises a waist adjustment section extending in the vicinity of a waist opening and an adjoining section arranged to be contiguous with the waist adjustment section and lying in the region. crotch, where the back waist elastic is attached to the waist adjustment section and the attached section is provided with an attached section of elastic attached thereto in a contractile state in the transverse direction; and the sealing elastic has an end overlapping and joined to the attached elastic section. Figure 9 is a partial diagram illustrating a diaper in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention. [DETAILED DESCRIPTION] <First setup> [0006] Details of the present invention will be fully understood from the description of a disposable diaper as typical examples of articles of clothing according to the present invention. A first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Figure 1 to Figure 8. [0007] Referring to figures 1-3, the disposable diaper 10 has a longitudinal direction Y, a transverse direction X, and a side that contacts the skin, a side that contacts the garments (opposite side alongside the skin), a front waist region 11, a back waist region 12 and a crotch region 13 extending between the front and back waist regions 11 and 12. A diaper length dimension 10 in the transverse direction X is divided in two by an imaginary centerline PP and a length dimension of the diaper 10 in the longitudinal direction Y is divided in two by an imaginary transverse centerline QQ, and the diaper 10 has an almost symmetrical shape around the imaginary centerline longitudinal PP. [0008] The diaper 10 comprises front and back waist members 20, 30 spaced apart in the longitudinal direction Y and an intermediate crotch member 40 in which the front and back waist members 20, 30 are connected together. The side edges 21 of the front waist member 20 spaced apart from and opposite each other in the transverse direction X can be joined to the associated side edges 31 of the back waist member 30 to form seams 14, in other words, to form a waist opening and a pair of leg openings. [0009] The back waist member 30 is sized to be larger than the front waist member 20 in the longitudinal direction Y. Specifically, the back waist member 30 comprises a waist adjustment section 30a and an attachment section 30b that fits. extend into the crotch region 13. With the diaper 10 having front and back waist members 20, 30 joined together along respective side edges, the waist adjustment section 30a is placed flatly together with the front waist member 20 and positioned to cover the wearer's rear waist region 30b extends from the waist adjustment section 30a into the crotch region 13. A boundary of this waist adjustment section 30a and the attached section 30b is indicated by an imaginary line 38 in figure 2. A length dimension in the longitudinal direction Y of the front waist member 20 and the waist adjustment section 30a is in a range of about 70 to 240mm and, in this configuration, about. the 105mm. An attachment section length dimension 30b in the Y longitudinal direction is in a range of 30 to 90mm, in this configuration about 60mm. [00010] A width dimension of the attach section 30b in the transverse X direction is almost the same as that of the waist adjustment section 30a so that the waist adjustment section 30a and the attachment section 30b can form a rectangle together. [00011] A region defined between the outer end 22 and an inner end 23 of the front waist member 20 is designated as the front waist region 11, the waist adjustment section 30a is defined between an eternal end 32 and the imaginary line 38 is designated herein as the back waist region 12 defined between the imaginary line 38 and the inner end 23 of the front waist member 20 is designated as the crotch region 13. The front and back waist members 20, 30 and a portion of the region crotch 40 assist to form a chassis in accordance with the present invention. [00012] With the dimensional relationship as described, the attached section 30b extends downwards to the lower ends of the respective leg openings to cover the leg openings and extends downwardly beyond the sealing sheaths 70 and the anti-vacuum barrier sheaths 80 to be described in detail below. [00013] The front waist member 20 and the waist adjustment section 30a respectively the waist adjustment section 30a have a front waist elastic 26 and a rear waist elastic 36 each comprising a plurality of elastic straps extending into the transverse direction X and fixed to them under tension in a contractile manner. The elastic straps consisting of front and back waist elastics 26, 36 arranged to be spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction Y at a spacing of about 3 to 15mm. In the present configuration, this spacing is set to be 5mm. Both the front and back waist elastics 26, 36 are adjusted to have a tensile tension in regions adjacent to the front and back ends 22, 32, respectively, higher than those in other regions so that the peripheral edge of the opening waist can be reliably placed in close contact with the wearer's body and leakage of bodily fluids such as urine can be reliably prevented. As the front and back waist elastics 26, 36, respectively, about three to twelve elastic straps each having a fineness in the range of about 470 to 1240 dtex can be used. In the present embodiment, five elastic straps each having approximately of 470dtex are used as each front and back waist elastic, 26, 36. Respectively four elastic straps counted from the front and rear ends 2.,32 are fixed at a tension ratio of about 2.6 and the elastic straps The inner sides of these four elastic strips in the Y longitudinal direction are fixed at a tension ratio of about 2.1. The tension ratio of these elastic straps can be appropriately adjusted in a range from about 1.8 to 3.5. [00014] The appended section 30b has an appended elastic section 51 comprising a plurality of elastic strips extending in the transverse direction X and secured thereto under tension in a contractile manner. The elastic straps consisting of the attached elastic section 51 are arranged to be spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction Y at an interval in a range of about 10 to about 30mm. In the present embodiment, the elastic straps of the attached elastic section 51 are spaced apart by a greater range than that of the front and rear waist elastics 26, 36, specifically about 20mm. For this reason it is not essential to place the attached section 30b in close contact with the user's body under high tensile stress. In addition, the number of elastic bands of the attaching elastic section 51 can be reduced to prevent the increase in rigidity of the attaching section 30b. As the elastic section attaches 51, the elastic straps, each having a thickness in a range of 470 to 1240 can be fixed in a tension ratio in a range of 1.5 to 3.2. In the present configuration, three elastic straps having a thickness of about 470dtex are used as the attached elastic section 51, in which an elastic strap is attached at a tension ratio of about 2.1 extending from an imaginary line 38 corresponding to the boundary between the waist adjustment section 30a and the attachment section 30b towards the inner end 33 of the back waist pad and the other two elastic straps are attached at a tension ratio of about 2.4. In this way, the zone of the annex section 30b in the vicinity of the imaginary line 38 has a lower tension ratio than that of the zone of the annex 30b in the vicinity of the inner end 33 of the rear waist member 30. [00015] The attached elastic section 51 may be coated onto itself with adhesive to be joined on the inner and outer sheets, 34 and 35 of the back waist member 30. Applying adhesive over the elastic 51 in this way, these inner and outer sheets, and external 34, 35 are also joined together. As a result, it is ensured that the attached elastic section 51 is prevented from falling out and, in addition, increased stiffness of the sheets due to the application of an excessive amount of adhesive is avoided. The front and back waist elastics 26, 36 can be joined to the inner and outer sheets 24, 25 of the front waist member and the inner and outer sheets 34, 55 of the back waist member, respectively, in the same manner as in the case of attached elastic section 51 or by adhesive applied to the respective sheets. [00016] The crotch member 40 includes a liquid-absorbent structure 41, a sealing sheath 70 and anti-vacuum barrier sheaths 80. The liquid-absorbent structure 41 comprises a liquid-absorbent core 41a, an inner sheet 42 lying thereover. the skin contacting side to cover the inner surface of the core 41a, an anti-damp sheet 43 covering the outer surface of the core 41a, and an outer sheet 44 lying on the garment contacting side (opposite side to skin-touching side) of the anti-wetting barrier sheet 43. As the material used for the core 41a, for example, fluff pulp fibers and/or superabsorbent polymer particles can be used. The core 41a has a length dimension in the transverse X direction gradually reduced towards the imaginary centerline Q-Q to be concave in the vicinity of the imaginary transverse centerline Q-Q. [00017] Both, the inner sheet 42 and the anti-vacuum barrier sheet 43 are dimensioned to be larger than the core 41a in the longitudinal direction Y. Consequently, the core 41a does not present in the vicinity of the front and rear ends of the crotch member 40 in the longitudinal direction Y and the inner sheet 42 assist the anti-decay barrier sheet 43 to form the front and rear end flaps 45, 46. In these front and back end flaps 45, 46, the inner sheet 42 and the anti-decay barrier sheet 43 they are directly joined together by adhesion, such as by means of hot glue. [00018] In the transverse X direction as well, the inner sheet 42 and the anti-decay barrier sheet 43 extend outwardly beyond the core 42a to form opposite side flaps 49 and extend in the longitudinal direction Y of the crotch member 40. On the side flaps 49, the inner sheet 42 and the anti-wetting barrier sheet 43 are directly joined together by adhesion, such as by means of hot glue. [00019] As raw material for the inner sheet 42, a liquid permeable fibrous non-woven, non-woven fabrics obtained by air flow process can be used; by thermal consolidation by points or by continuous filament having a base mass in a range of about 10 to about 30g/m2. [00020] As a raw material for the anti-wetting barrier sheet 43, a liquid-impermeable but moisture-permeable plastic film can be used and the liquid-absorbent structure 41 can be entirely covered with the anti-wetting barrier sheet 43 to prevent bodily fluids , such as, urine leaks from the diaper 10. [00021] As raw material for outer sheet 44, a liquid-impermeable but moisture-permeable fibrous non-woven fabric such as a non-woven fabric obtained by the process (SMS) continuous filament/blow spinning/continuous filament can be used (spunbonded/melt blown/spunbonded), non-woven obtained by the thermal consolidation process by points, or non-woven obtained by the continuous filament process, having as base mass in a range of 10 to 25g/m2. [00022] Referring to Figure 3, the crotch member 40 is joined to its front and rear sections including the front and rear flaps 45, 46 on the front and rear waist members 20, 30, respectively, to form the front and rear regions. The joined backs 61, 62. These joined front and back regions 61, 62 are formed between the outer sheet 44 of the crotch member 40 and the inner sheets 24, 34 of the front and back waist members 20, 30. While these front and back regions the joints 61, 62 are formed over almost all of the areas in which the crotch member 40 overlaps with the front and rear waist members 20, 30 the non-joined front and rear regions 23, 33 are left free of joint in the proximities of the ends. internals 23, 33 of the front and rear waist members 20, 30, respectively. This may optionally be designated if the front waist elastic 26 and/or the attached elastic section 51 were arranged in these non-joined front and back regions 63, 64. [00023] The crotch member 40 joined to the front and rear waist members 20, 30 in this way is provided on the skin-contacting side with the front and back cover sheets 27, 37, serving to cover the front ends and back 47, 48, respectively, of the crotch member 40. These cover sheets 27, 37 extend between the respective pairs of opposite side edges 21, 31 of the front and rear waist members 20, 30 in the transverse X direction to cover by entire the front and back end areas 47, 48 of the crotch member 40. These front and back cover sheets 27, 37 cover the front and back ends 47, 48 in this manner in order to prevent so-called skin problems due to contact. of the front and rear ends 47, 48 with the user's skin. [00024] In the crotch member 40 includes sealing hems 70 and sealing hems 80 both formed by the outer sheet 44. The sealing hems 70 are formed from the outer sheet 44 extending over the outer surface of the core 41a and further externally beyond of the side edges of the core 41a and thus folded back in the transverse X direction. The sealing hems 80 are contiguous with the respective sealing hems 70 and formed similarly to a Z to be formed on the liquid-absorbent structure 41 (see figures 4 to 8). [00025] The side flaps 49 respectively have elastic sheaths 71 including a plurality of elastic strips, extending in the longitudinal direction Y and contractilely tensioned thereto to elasticize the sealing sheaths 70 in the longitudinal direction Y. As sheaths elastic 71, the elastic strips each having thickness in a range of 470 to 1240dtex can be fixed in a tension ratio in a range of about 2.3 to about 3.0. In the present embodiment, elastic straps each having about 470dtex are used as elastic sheaths 71 and secured at a tension ratio of 2.7. The side edges of the anti-vacuum barrier sheets 43 abut the liquid-absorbent structure and extend outwardly beyond the side edges of the liquid-absorbent structure 41 extend into the associated side flaps 49, more specifically, between the two respective layers of the side flaps 49 formed by the back-folding of the side edges of the outer sheet 44. On the inner surface of the back-folded side flap 49 in two layers, on the outer sheet 44, the anti-vacuum barrier sheet 43 and the elastic sheaths 71 are joined together by means such as adhesive to form joined regions of the hems 72. The joined regions of the hems 72 continuously extend in the longitudinal direction Y of the crotch member 40, respectively. [00026] One end 71a of elastic cuff 71 overlaps front waist elastic 26 and the other end 71b overlaps attached elastic section 51 (see figure 2). The end 71a overlaps the joined front region 61 also with the other end 71b which also overlaps the joined back region 62. In other words, the elastic cuffs 71 are indirectly joined to the joined front region 61 by an overlapping end 71a with the waist elastic 26 and indirectly joined at the joined back region 62. In other words, the elastic cuff 71 is indirectly joined to the joined front region 61 by an end 71a which overlaps the front waist elastic 26 and indirectly joined at the rear region joined 62 by the other end 71b overlapping with the attached elastic section 51. Consequently, the elastic sheaths 71 affixed to the inner surface of the outer sheet 44 outside the side edges of the core 41a are pulled out in the transverse direction X when the front waist elastic 26 and the attached elastic section 51 are stretched in the transverse X direction where the crotch member 40 is in contact with the user's body over a vast expanse. Said arrangement is also effective to prevent the front and rear ends of the core 41a from wrinkling because of leakage of bodily fluids such as urine. Furthermore, in a single configuration where the elastic cuffs 71 overlap with the front waist elastic 26 and the attached elastic section 51 allows the crotch member 40 to move integrally with the front and rear waist members 20, 30. As a consequence Advantageously, it is possible to prevent the crotch member 40 from slipping down and prevent the crotch member 40 from being unintentionally displaced with respect to the user's body. To maintain the stability of the crotch member 40 with respect to the front and back waist members 20, 30, the elastic cuffs 71 preferably overlap and join together with at least one of the elastic straps of the attached elastic section 51 being closer to the region of waist fit 30a, more preferably with two or more elastic straps from the attached elastic section 51 and most preferably with all of them. From the standpoint of the stability of the front and rear waist members 20, 30 with respect to the crotch member 40, the attached elastic section 51 and the elastic cuffs 71 preferably overlap with each other and are joined together in a region over the side of the waist adjustment region 30a provided such that the attachment section 30b is split in two in the longitudinal direction Y to define the region proximate to the waist adjustment region 30a and the region remote from the waist adjustment region 30a. [00027] The sealing hems 71 preferably overlap each other and are joined in each of the elastic strips of the attached elastic section 51 lying adjacent to the imaginary line 38 which can prevent an unintended movement of the crotch member 40 with respect to the rear waist member 30. Particularly when the front and rear waist members 20, 30, as well as the crotch member 40 are separately prepared and molded together to form the diaper 10 as in the present configuration, the crotch member 40 is otherwise side would be able to move with respect to the front and rear waist members 20, 30. However this can be effectively prevented by a single arrangement which will be described below. [00028] Elastic cuffs 71 are not arranged to extend to the front and rear ends 47, 48 of the crotch member 40 but the non-contractile regions 73a, 73b are formed between one end 71a and the front end 47 and between the other end 72b and the trailing end 48, respectively, so that these non-joined regions 73a, 73b can be free of contractile force from the elastic sheaths 71. The non-contractile regions 73a, 73b can be formed by attaching any elastic strips to these regions as in the case of the present configuration or by cutting or heating the elastic strips once fixed in these regions. [00029] The anti-vacuum barrier sheaths 80 are formed of sleeves which are formed, in turn, by the outer sheet which still extends inwardly from the sealing sheaths 70 and are folded back. Within the anti-vacuum barrier sheaths 80, two or more elastic strips like elastic barriers 81 extending in the longitudinal direction Y are attached under tension but contractibly in the anti-vacuum barrier sheaths 80 in the longitudinal direction Y. As a consequence, as will be apparent from Figure 8, the anti-vacuum barrier sheaths 80 are spaced upwards from the inner sheet 42 to come into close contact with the user's inguinal regions and at the same time the sealing sheaths 70 elasticized by the elastic sheaths also rise to get in close contact around the user's thighs. In this way, the anti-leak barrier sheaths 80 assist the sealing sheaths 70 to form a double sheath serving to prevent leakage of bodily fluids such as urine which would otherwise occur around the thighs. [00030] Each of the elastic barriers 81 has one end 81a and the other end 81b spaced from the front and rear ends 47, 48, respectively, more specifically, these ends 81a, 81b are positioned internally the front and rear end flaps 45, 46 as seen in the longitudinal direction Y. The anti-vacuum barrier sheaths 80 are joined to the inner sheet 42 at the joined barrier regions 82 defined on the outer side of one end 81a and the other end 81b of the elastic barriers 81 as seen in the longitudinal direction Y. This means that the anti-vacuum barrier sheaths 80 do not lift by themselves at least in the joined barrier regions 82. While the joined barrier regions 82 extend from the front and rear flaps 45, 46 internally NBA longitudinal direction Y , these tabs 45, 46 preferably at least do not extend to the appended section 30b and do not overlap with the appended section 30b. With said arrangement, the barrier sheaths 80 are able to rise in the attached section 30b and come into close contact with the user's body, the barrier sheaths 80 are able to prevent leakage of bodily fluids such as urine which can otherwise occur. [00031] In the diaper 10 as described above, the attached section 30b formed in the rear waist region 12 is able to cover the wearer's buttocks and thighs. Even if leakage of bodily fluids occurs in said region, the attached section 30b will receive the same and protect the wearer's clothing from dirt from bodily fluids. Attachment section 30b is provided with elastic attachment section 51 to elasticize this section 30b in the transverse X direction so that attachment section 30b can contact the wearer's buttocks along its cup-like shape. In this way, in the event of leakage of bodily fluids, the cup-like shape will make it possible to receive said leakage of bodily fluids. Particularly, the elastic attachment section 51 arranged to have the greatest tension ratio in the vicinity of the crotch region 13 facilitates the attachment section 30b having an initially rectangular shape as a whole that is deformed into the cup-like shape adapted to be placed in close contact with the user's body. With said arrangement, the attached section 30b would not be unintentionally bent or curved. [00032] Since the annex section 30b is formed with none of the seams 14, the inner and outer sheets 34, 35 in the annex section 30b would not have the stiffness due to the seams 14. As a consequence, the flexibility of the texture of these inner sheets and external 34, 35 could be maintained and any irritation experienced by the user could be alleviated. As has been previously described, the unbonded back region 64 formed adjacent the inner end 33 of the back waist member 30 in the appended section 30b allows the inner end 33 to also be flexibly maintained in texture. If the unbonded back region 64 is formed, the adhesive may travel outward along the inner end 33 of the back waist member 30, soiling the wearer's skin causing irritation therein. Unjoined back region 64 in accordance with the present invention can reliably eliminate said possibility. One of the front waist elastic band 26 and one of the attached elastic section elastic bands 51 both disposed in the joined front and rear regions 61, 62, respectively to be adjacent the imaginary transverse centerline QQ are located in the vicinity of the boundary between these joined regions 61, 62 and the unjoined front and rear regions 63, 64, respectively. Said arrangement is effective to maintain flexibility of the non-joined front and rear regions 63, 64 and to bring the front waist region 11 and the attached section 30b into close contact with the wearer's body. The provision of the attached section 30b allows the area over which the crotch member 40 is placed planarly together with the back waist member 30 to be sufficiently enlarged to prevent involuntary movement of the crotch member 40 relative to the back waist member 30. [00033] While the joined front and rear regions 61, 62 are formed over almost the entire area in which the crotch member 40 overlaps the front and rear waist members 20, 30 according to the present embodiment, it is also possible without slipping away It is within the scope of the invention to arrange so that the joined front and rear regions are not formed in both lateral zones of this overlapping area opposite each other in the width direction X. Particularly the area in which the front and rear waist members 20, 30 se overlying elastic cuff 71 can be formed leaving partially no front and back region joined to ensure that the seal cuffs 70 are separated from the front and back waist members 20, 30 and come into close contact with the wearer's body. <Second Configuration> [00034] Figure 9 is a view substantially similar to Figure 3, showing a second embodiment of the present invention. The second configuration is characterized in that the joined region 62 comprises the first and second joined regions 62a, 62b spaced apart in the longitudinal direction Y. Another basic aspect of the features described above is similar to the first configuration and the following description will be limited to the differentiating aspect from the first configuration and, in figure 9, the components are the same as those which in the first configuration were designated with the same reference numerals. [00035] The first joined region 62a is located in the waist fitting region 30a of the back waist member 30 and the second joined region 62b is located in the appended section 30b. These first and second joined regions 62a, 62b are formed to be spaced apart from each other in the Y longitudinal direction, and the second joined region 62b is located outside an attached elastic section 51 as seen in the Y longitudinal direction, in other words, located in the vicinity of the outer end of the rear waist member 30. [00036] By spacing the joined first and second regions 62a, 62b from each other, an amount of adhesive to be used can be reduced and thereby the stiffness of the waist back member 30 and the crotch member 40 can be prevented from increasing due to the presence of the adhesive. [00037] While the first configuration and the second configuration of the present invention have been exemplarily described above as the so-called three-piece diaper comprising front and rear waist members 20, 30 and the crotch member 40 prepared as separate members, where the members front and back waistband 20, 30 are connected together by the crotch member 40, the present invention is not limited to said three piece diaper. The present invention is applicable to a diaper comprising these three continuously formed members. However, it should be appreciated that the effect of the present invention can be more prominently expressed in said three piece diaper. In the conventional diaper comprising the front waist member, the rear waist member and the crotch member separately prepared and then assembled together, the crotch member is able to move particularly in the transverse direction X with respect to the front and rear waist members. To overcome this problem, according to the present invention, the back waist member 30 is provided with an attached section 30b to enlarge the area in which the back waist member 30 overlaps the crotch region 40, on one side, and to secure that the elastic sheath 71 attached to the crotch member 40 overlap, and be joined to the attached elastic section 51. With said arrangement the involuntary movement of the crotch member 40 relative to the back waist member 30 is restricted. Particularly the elastic sheath 71 and the attached elastic section 51 are secured together at two locations in the transverse direction X and the involuntary displacement is reliably reduced. It is assumed that a mother holding her baby by the buttocks, even if her arm moves across the baby's buttocks, the diaper 10 is not displaced relative to the baby's body. [00038] While the front and back waist elastics 26, 36 have been described above continuously extending from one of the side edges 21, 31 to the other side edge 21, 31, it is possible, for example, to cut these elastics 26 36 in the region of overlap with the core 41a so that the core 41a is not affected by the contractile force of these elastics 26, 36. The same effect can be achieved in another way as well, such as by fixing adhesive. [00039] While a plurality of elastic straps is used to elasticize the front and rear members 20, 30 in the transverse direction X according to the illustrated configurations, the elasticizing means is not limited to said elastic straps and other variations of elastic materials, such as elastic sheet or elastic strap can also be used. This is true of the elastic sheath 71 and the elastic barrier 81. While the liquid-absorbent structure having a length dimension in the transverse X direction is gradually reduced from the front and rear end portions towards the middle portion it is used in the illustrated configurations, it is also possible to use the square-shaped liquid-absorbent structure. [00040] While the attachment section 30b is rectangular in the illustrated configurations, it is also possible for the attachment section 30b having corners defined by side edges 31 and the inner end 33 of the back waist member 30 to be rounded. Said attached section 30b more easily comes into close contact with the user's body. [00041] The aspects of the present invention described above can be arranged by at least the following item: (i) An article of clothing (10) comprising a chassis, a liquid-absorbent structure (41) and a pair of sealing hems (70 ), the chassis having a longitudinal direction (Y), a transverse direction (X), a side that contacts the skin, a side that does not contact the skin, a front waist region (11) and a back waist region (12) and a crotch region (13 extending between the front and back waist regions, the liquid-absorbent structure extending across the crotch region into the front and back waist regions, and the hems of sealing being outside the liquid-absorbent structure in the transverse direction, where the front and rear waist regions include the front and rear waist elastics (26, 36) secured thereto in a contractile manner in the transverse direction and the Sealing hems include elastic hems (71) contractilely secured thereto in the longitudinal direction where: the rear waist region comprises a waist adjustment section (30a) extending in the vicinity of a waist opening and an adjoining section ( 30b) arranged to be contiguous with the waist adjustment section and lying in the crotch region, where the back waist elastic (36) is attached to the waist adjustment section and the attached section is provided with an attached elastic section (51) fixed to it in a contractile manner in the transverse direction; and the elastic sheath has one end overlapping and joined to the front waist elastic and another end that overlaps and joined to the attached elastic section. [00042] The aspect of the present invention described in the above item (i) may provide one or more advantageous effects: (a) with a single arrangement as described above, the front and rear waist regions are assisted by moving by elastic hems of sealing and thereby any involuntary displacement of the crotch region can be avoided. [00043] Additionally, one or more of the following configurations are provided in accordance with the additional aspects: (ii) both the attached elastic section and the back waist elastic comprise a plurality of elastic strips spaced apart in the longitudinal direction and a distance between a pair of elastic straps adjacent to the attached elastic section is adjusted to be longer than the back waist elastic. (iii) The chassis includes a front waist member (20) defining the front waist region, a rear waist member ( 30) spaced from the front waist member in the longitudinal direction and defining the back waist region and a crotch member (40) defining the crotch region; and a front end of the crotch member includes a joined front region (61) joined to the front waist member and a rear end of the crotch member includes a joined back region (62) joined to the rear waist member and an unjoined back region. inside the crotch member in the longitudinal direction and separated from the front waist member and the rear waist member. (iv) The joined back region comprises a first joined region (62a) and a second joined region (62b) spaced apart in the longitudinal direction. (v) The first joined region and the second joined region are formed to overlap with the elastic hem. (vi) The front waist region and the rear waist region are joined together along their respective side edges ( 21, 31) by seams (14) and the attached section is formed without any seams. [00044] According to the above settings (ii) to (vi), the advantage(s) effect(s) set in (a) is/are best guaranteed. Still the advantageous effects of the respective configurations can be obtained as discussed in the respective related descriptions. [00045] The terms "first" and "second" mentioned herein are used merely to distinguish between similar elements.
