专利说明:
BREAD SLICER WITH CLEANING DEVICE AND CORRESPONDING METHOD The invention relates to a method for cutting bread into slices using a bread slicer and for cleaning this slicer. The slicer comprises a loading compartment with a support surface for placing a loaf to be cut and is connected to a receiving compartment which has a bottom. A bagging pallet is provided in the receiving compartment. The pallet is movable between a receiving position, in which the pallet extends along the plane of the bottom of the receiving compartment, covering a recess provided in this bottom, and a bagging position, in which at least one end of the pallet is raised relative to the plane of said bottom. Thus, the recess is accessible from the receiving compartment when the pallet is in the bagging position. In the method, the bread to be cut is placed in the loading compartment and, in a cutting step of the method, the bread is advanced in a direction of movement towards the receiving compartment and successive slices are cut from the bread during its movement towards the receiving compartment by the movement of a cutting blade along a cutting plane. This cutting plane extends between the compartments and substantially transversely relative to the direction of movement of the bread. The slices that are cut from the bread are advanced until they are on the bagging paddle which is held in the receiving position. After the complete cutting of the bread, the bagging pallet is moved to the bagging position by releasing the aforesaid recess in the bottom of the receiving compartment. In this bagging position, a packing bag can be slid over the entire pallet and cut loaf to wrap the loaf. Documents DE 10 2008 025 628, DE 100 49 156, DE 10 2010 047 587 and WO 2013/110689 describe bread slicers with a bagging pallet which is movable between a receiving position and a bagging position. Such slicers have the disadvantage that sometimes parts of the cut bread, such as a bread crust, fall off the bagging paddle and end up between the paddle which is in the bagging position and the bottom plane of the bagging compartment. reception. Thus, these parts of the bread form an obstacle for the return of the pallet to its receiving position and they can therefore interfere with the proper functioning of the slicer and even cause it to stop. The invention aims to remedy, among other things, this drawback by proposing a method which prevents the movement of the bagging pallet from being hampered by the presence of parts of a cut loaf, or other objects, between the pallet and the plan of the bottom of the receiving compartment. To this end, the aforesaid cutting step is preceded by a cleaning step in which the bread is moved from the loading compartment to the receiving compartment, when the bagging pallet is in the bagging position, to pushing remaining parts of a previously cut loaf, or possibly other objects, towards said recess until they fall into the recess. The bread motion is then reversed and the bagging pallet is returned to the receiving position. Advantageously, after the cutting step and before the cleaning step, the presence of remaining parts of a cut loaf on said bottom close to the recess, in particular, between the recess and the cutting plane, is detected and, if such presence is not detected, the cleaning step is omitted and the bagging pallet is returned to the receiving position. According to an advantageous embodiment of the method, according to the invention, the bagging pallet has a width which is greater than the width of the receiving compartment in a direction transverse to said direction of movement. In this method, it is detected whether the cut loaf extends beyond a lateral edge of the bagging pallet over a distance which is greater than a tolerated distance, this lateral edge extending transversely with respect to the cutting plane, and, if this tolerated distance is exceeded, the pallet is maintained in its receiving position in said cutting step. According to a particular embodiment of the method, according to the invention, the bagging pallet is moved from the reception position to the bagging position by a rotation around an axis substantially parallel to the cutting plane in order to raise the end of the pallet that is directed towards the loading compartment. The invention also relates to a slicer for cutting bread into slices. This slicer comprises: - a loading compartment having a support surface for placing a loaf to be cut, the loading compartment being connected to a receiving compartment which has a bottom, - a pusher controlled by control means and making it possible to move the bread between the loading compartment and the receiving compartment in a direction of displacement of the bread, - a cutting blade for cutting successive slices of the bread when the latter is moved from the loading compartment towards the receiving compartment, this blade can be moved along a cutting plane extending between the loading compartment and the receiving compartment and substantially perpendicular to said direction of movement of the bread, - a bagging pallet controlled by said control means and provided in the reception compartment, this pallet being movable between a reception position, in which the pallet extends along the plane of the bottom of the receiving compartment, covering a recess provided in this bottom, and a bagging position, in which at least one end of the pallet is raised relative to the plane of said bottom so that the recess is accessible from the receiving compartment, This slicer is characterized in that the control means are provided to cause the pusher to seize a loaf which is placed in the loading compartment and to advance the pusher with this bread towards the receiving compartment when the bagging pallet is in the bagging position and then to reverse the movement of the pusher when the bread has reached said recess and to return the bagging pallet to the receiving position . According to an interesting embodiment of the slicer, according to the invention, it comprises a sensor for detecting the presence of remaining parts of a cut loaf on the aforesaid bottom close to the recess, in particular, between the recess and the cutting plane. This sensor cooperates with said control means in order to advance the pusher towards the receiving compartment up to a predetermined distance from the recess if the remaining parts of a cut loaf are detected. Said predetermined distance is at least equal to the length of the bread gripped by the pusher in said direction of movement. The predetermined distance corresponds, for example, to a fixed distance or to a distance determined by a device for measuring the length of the bread, provided for this purpose. Other details and particularities of the invention will emerge from the description given below, by way of non-limiting example, of some particular embodiments of the method and of the slicer according to the invention with reference to the appended drawings. Figures 1 to 6 show a very schematic side view of a bread slicer and illustrate successive steps of a method for cutting bread into slices, according to the invention. Figure 7 shows a schematic top view of a slicer when a loaf is gripped by the pusher and a portion of a previously cut loaf is between the bagging paddle and the bottom of the receiving compartment, as shown Figure 1. Figure 8 shows a schematic top view of the slicer of Figure 7 when there is no portion of bread between the bagging pallet and the bottom of the receiving compartment. Figure 9 is a schematic top view of a slicer when a cut loaf is on the bagging paddle which is in the receiving position. Figure 10 is a schematic perspective view of the slicer of Figure 9 when the bagging paddle is moved to its bagging position together with sliced bread. Figure 11 is a schematic top view of a slicer when a cut loaf is on the bagging pallet which is in the receiving position and when this loaf extends beyond the side edge of the pallet. Figure 12 is a schematic perspective view of the slicer of Figure 11 with sliced bread. In the various figures, the same reference numerals relate to similar or identical elements. The invention relates, in general, to a method for using an automatic bread slicer which makes it possible to package sliced bread in a simple manner by the presence of a movable bagging pallet. It is, in particular, a slicer which includes a loading compartment in which the bread to be cut is introduced and gripped by a claw provided on a pusher. This pusher makes it possible to push the bread through a cutting plane towards a receiving compartment from where the sliced bread can be recovered. A cutting blade, in particular a circular blade, is moved along the cutting plane to cut successive slices of bread as the bread advances towards the receiving compartment. In the receiving compartment, the cut slices of bread are advanced until they are on a bagging paddle which extends into the bottom plane of the receiving compartment. After the bread has been completely cut, at least one end of the bagging pallet is raised so that a free space is created between this end of the pallet and the bottom of the receiving compartment. Thus, a packaging bag can be slid from this end over the entire pallet and cut bread. The bag containing the bread is then removed from the pallet. In such a bread slicer, there is a risk that part of the sliced bread, such as for example a crust of bread, falls off the bagging pallet and is between the pallet and the bottom of the receiving compartment. , as shown, for example, in Figure 1. Figure 1 schematically shows a loading compartment 1 with a support surface 2 on which a bread 3 to be cut into slices is placed. This loading compartment 1 is connected to a reception compartment 4 having a bottom 5. As shown in Figure 1, a pusher 6 is present in the loading compartment 1 which makes it possible to enter the bread 3 to be cut which is placed in the loading compartment 1 as indicated by the arrow 7. Preferably, the pusher 6 comprises , for example, a retractable claw 8 to allow the bread 3 to be gripped. The pusher 6 is controlled by control means, not shown, and makes it possible to move the bread 3 between the loading compartment 1 and the receiving compartment 4 in a direction of movement of the bread 3. A cutting blade, for example a circular blade that can be driven around its axis, is moved along a cutting plane 9 to cut successive slices of bread as the bread passes through this cutting plane 9 which extends between the loading compartment 1 and the receiving compartment 4. This cutting plane preferably extends substantially perpendicular to the direction of movement of the bread 3. For the clarity of the figures, the cutting blade is not shown. A bagging pallet 10 is provided in the receiving compartment 4. This bagging pallet 10 is movable between a receiving position and a bagging position. In this last position, a cut loaf which is present on the pallet can be wrapped in a bag by sliding the bag over the assembly of the pallet 10 and the loaf 3. Then the bag is removed from the pallet together with the loaf. In said reception position, the pallet 10 extends along the plane of the said bottom 5 of the reception compartment 4, covering a recess 11 provided in this bottom 5, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. When the pallet 10 is in the bagging position, at least one end 12 of the pallet 10 is raised relative to the plane of said bottom 5 so that the recess 11 is accessible from the receiving compartment 4, as shown, for example, in Figures 1 , 2 and 6. The bagging pallet 10 preferably cooperates also with said control means which control the movement of the pallet between the receiving and bagging positions. Figure 1 shows the situation in which a loaf has been sliced and removed from the bagging pallet 10. A portion 13 of this previously cut loaf is on the bottom 5 and below the end 12 of the bagging pallet 10. This part 13 of bread can, for example, comprise the end of the bread 3 which was gripped by the claw 8 of the pusher 6. By the presence of this part 13, it is not possible to return the pallet 10 towards the receiving position to receive the slices of a following loaf. According to the method of the invention, a cleaning step precedes a cutting step. In this cleaning step, parts 13 of the bread which has been previously cut are removed from the bottom 5 of the receiving compartment 4. For this purpose, a following bread 3, which is picked up by the pusher 6 in order to be cut into slices, is moved from the loading compartment 1 to the receiving compartment 4, as shown in Figure 2. This is done while the bagging pallet 10 is held in the bagging position. Thus, the bread 3 to be cut, which is advanced by the pusher 6, pushes the remaining parts 13 of a previously cut bread towards said recess 11 until these parts 13 fall into this recess 11, as indicated by the arrow 14 in Figure 2. Preferably, these remaining parts 13 of a cut loaf are thus collected in a crumb container provided below the recess 11 in the bottom 5 of the receiving compartment 4. After the bottom 5 has been cleaned in this way and the parts 13 have therefore been removed from the bottom 5, the movement of the pusher 6, and therefore of the bread 3, is reversed, as shown in Figure 3, and the pusher and the bread are, preferably , returned to the loading compartment 1. The bagging pallet 10 is then returned to the receiving position as indicated by the arrow 15. Then, the cutting step is started, as 1llustré by Figures 4 to 6. In this cutting step, the bread 3 is advanced in the direction of movement t towards the receiving compartment 4 and successive slices 16 are cut from the bread 3 during its movement towards the receiving compartment 4 through the cutting plane 9. The slices are cut one after the other by the movement of the cutting blade along the cutting plane 9 when the bread 3 is advanced at discrete steps corresponding to the thickness of a slice. The slices 16 cut from the bread 3 are advanced by the action of the pusher 6 until they are on the bagging pallet 10 which is held in the receiving position. After the complete cutting of the bread 3 and when all the slices of the bread are on the bagging pallet 10, the claw 8 is removed from the bread and the pusher is returned to the loading compartment 1. The pallet 10, on which rests the cut bread, is then moved towards the bagging position by releasing the aforesaid recess 11 in the bottom 5 of the receiving compartment 4, as shown in FIG. 6. The sliced bread is then packed by sliding a bag over the entire pallet 10 and bread 3. The bag containing the bread 3 is then removed from the pallet. According to an interesting embodiment of the method according to the invention, after the cutting step and before the cleaning step, the presence of remaining parts 13 of a cut loaf on said bottom 5 close to the recess 11 is detected. It is detected, for example, if the remaining parts 13 of a previously cut loaf are present between the recess 11 and the cutting plane 9. If no presence of such parts 13 is detected, as shown in Figure 8, the aforesaid cleaning step is omitted and the bagging pallet 10 is returned to the receiving position. Then said step of cutting for a following loaf is started. The slicer comprises, for example, a sensor 17 for detecting the presence of remaining parts 13 of a cut loaf on the bottom 5 close to the recess 11. As shown in Figure 7, this sensor 17 allows, in particular, to detect the presence of said parts 13 on the bottom 5 between the recess 11 and the cutting plane 9. The sensor 17 cooperates with said control means in order to cause the pusher 6 to advance towards the receiving compartment 4 up to a distance of the recess 11 if the remaining portions 13 of a cut loaf are detected. This distance is at least equal to the length of the bread which is gripped by the pusher 6 in said direction of movement. The sensor may, for example, comprise an optical eye. Said predetermined distance can be a fixed distance, which corresponds, for example, to the length of the smallest type of bread which is generally cut by means of the slicer. Alternatively, this predetermined distance corresponds to the distance which is determined by a bread length measuring device provided for this purpose. Thus, the length of the bread is, for example, measured by this measuring device after the bread has been placed in the loading compartment 1 and entered by the pusher 6. In most slicers, as illustrated in Figures 9 to 12, the bagging pallet 10 has a width which is less than the width of the receiving compartment 4 along a direction transverse to said direction of movement, or along a direction parallel to the cutting plane 9. In such a slicer, a sensor 18 may be provided which cooperates with the control means and which makes it possible to detect whether the cut bread exceeds a lateral edge 19 of the bagging pallet 10. This sensor 18 makes it possible, for example, to detect whether the bread 3 exceeds said lateral edge 19 over a distance which is greater than a tolerated distance. This tolerated distance can be zero or can correspond to a maximum distance along which the pallet 10 can be moved towards the bagging position without being hindered by the frame of the slicer. The tolerated distance can also correspond to a maximum distance which ensures that the bread 3 is held stably on the pallet 10 when the latter is moved towards the bagging position. If the tolerated distance is exceeded by the bread 3, the control means maintain the pallet 10 in the receiving position. Thus, the pallet 10 is maintained in its receiving position at the end of said cutting step, as shown in Figure 12. Said side edge 19 extends substantially transversely relative to the cutting plane 9. According to one embodiment preferred of the slicer according to the invention, the slicer optionally comprises a movable support which can be brought to the end of the loaf 3 when the bagging pallet 10 is in the receiving position and a loaf to be cut is gripped by the pusher 6. This mobile support is able to follow the progress of the bread 3 in the receiving compartment 1 while maintaining contact with the bread 3 to prevent the cut slices of the bread 3 from falling. Thus, in the method according to the invention, it can be provided that after the bagging pallet 10 is placed in the receiving position, a mobile support is brought to the end of the bread. Then, this support is made to follow the progress of the bread 3 in the receiving compartment 4 while maintaining contact between the support and the bread 3 to prevent the cut slices of the bread 3 from falling. The bagging pallet 10 is, for example, and as shown in the figures, rotatably mounted around an axis substantially parallel to the cutting plane 9 in order to be able to move the pallet 10 between the receiving position and the receiving position. bagging. In this last position, the end 12 of the pallet which is directed towards the loading compartment 1 is raised with respect to the plane of the bottom 5 of the reception compartment 4. It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to a method or to a slicer in which the pallet is pivoted to be moved between the bagging position and the receiving position. It is for example also possible that the pallet is lifted completely upwards when moved to its bagging position, as for example described in DE 10 2010 047 587. In the examples given above, the remaining parts 13 of a previously cut loaf are pushed onto the bottom 5 by a loaf 3 which is gripped by the pusher 6 until they fall into the recess 11 following the displacement of the pusher 6. In other embodiments of the method or of the slicer, according to the invention, it is also possible that only the pusher 6 is advanced from the loading compartment 1 towards the recess 11. Thus, the parts 13 are pushed by the pusher 6 in order to cause them to fall into the recess 11 when the bagging pallet 10 is in the bagging position. The pusher 6 is for this purpose, for example, moved up to the recess 11 or up to the top of the recess 11. Then the pusher 6 is returned to the loading compartment 1 and the bagging pallet 10 is lowered to the receiving position. A next loaf to be cut can then be placed between this pusher 6 and the recess 11, in particular between the pusher 6 and the cutting plane 9, to be cut. It is understood that the invention is not limited to the different embodiments described above, but that still other variants can be envisaged without departing from the scope of the present invention. Thus, the invention is not limited to a slicer or a method in which the bread is moved between the loading and receiving compartments in a direction which is substantially horizontal, but this direction can also be inclined. Thus, the support surface 2 and the bottom 5 can have an inclination along the direction of movement of the bread which is, for example, between 0° and 50°.
