专利说明:

The invention relates to a lock comprising a housing, a spring loaded latch, a latch movable by an actuatable push rod, and a trigger member cooperating with a striker plate projecting into the path of travel of the push rod in a starting position and blocking it in the unlocked position.
Such panic locks, in which when surcharges a door bolt together with the trap automatically extends seitseitem known. A trigger element, in the form of a slider or a lever, often serves to block the push rod in the lock mechanism until the trigger element is pressed by the lock plate into the housing of the lock and thereby releases the push rod, which pushes out the bolt in succession.
In another known variant, the release levers are not sliders or levers insertable into the housing, but have outwardly projecting laterally pivotable projections over the forend, which cooperate with corresponding recesses in the lock plate. An example of such a lock is shown in EP 2287426 A1. In this case, the trigger element has a laterally protruding over the forend bracket, which cooperates with a corresponding recess in the locking plate. A disadvantage of this embodiment is that the trigger element is elaborately constructed of different parts and the protruding bracket must be rebuilt depending on the use of a left or right hinged door.
DE 8902476 U1 shows a variant in which the part projecting beyond the facepiece is a pin displaceable in a longitudinal slot located transversely in the forend, which cooperates with a corresponding lever mechanism in the lock housing. This variant can be used without conversion on the left as well as on right-hinged doors, however the structure further complicates and error-prone. The provision of the pin exact to a middle position in the hole on a tension spring amInnenhebel leads in practice to a very inaccurate
Riirkcitpl 1 uprhal fpn. wnrlinrh rii p Snhl i psssi nhprhpi f- Ηρς Srh 1 nssps is affected. Also, this variant can be very easily misdirected in an accidental passing the release lever.
The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a lock which overcomes the above drawbacks and which has the part of the release lever projecting from the forend simply assembled, which has a high locking security and can be used without alteration for left and right hinged doors.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the trigger element is pivotally mounted by means of an axis perpendicular to the forehead held in Stulp axis, wherein a lying inside the housing end portion of the trigger element has the projection which locks the push rod, and wherein an outer projecting beyond the forend end portion as two-armed lever is formed, the lever arms are inclined in the starting position of the trigger element substantially from the rotational axis towards the respective side edge of the Stulps and in the end position, in which one of the most laterally projecting portions of the lever arms with a corresponding recess in the strike plate, substantially as far in the direction the Stulpmittehin are pivoted that the projection on the inner end portion with the push rod is disengaged. It is thereby possible to provide a very simple triggering element which converts the lateral linear force which acts on the triggering element when the outer end portion strikes the striking plate, directly into a rotational movement which causes release of the pushrod inside the lockhousing. As a result, the latch is automatically moved by the downwardly moving push rod to its extended position. The push rod can be biased in the direction of the locking division by means of a spring, or be acted upon only by the force of gravity.
According to a further feature of the invention, it is envisaged that rii p An scrancrs 1 acrp the Änslsppl pmpnfs o-inp-r P.ndQl-pl lnnn Hoc
Swivel travel of the trigger element corresponds. This ensures that the triggering element can always assume a specific defined initial position in which blocking of the push rod is possible. The blocking safety is thereby substantially increased.
It is a further feature of the invention that the lever arms of the outer end portion of the triggering element are formed point-symmetrically about the pivot axis. The concrete geometric design of the lever arms can be arbitrary, it being important to ensure that the respective acting ends of the lever arms are seen from the axis of rotation point-symmetrically formed, so that the lock is equally actuated in both a left and a right stop. After this stop, either the upper or the lower lever arm hits the recess in the striking plate, whereby the trigger element is actuated.
Furthermore, it is a feature of the present invention that the release element is integrally formed. This design is preferred because it allows for a very low cost construction, with the trigger element simply inserted into a corresponding bore in the forend.
According to a further feature of the invention it is provided that between the outer end portion of the trigger element and a cradle bearing portion, a spacer portion is provided, the thickness of which corresponds at least to the thickness of the cuff and serves as a guide of the trigger element in the forend.
The thickness of the outer end portion of the trigger element is measured so as to bridge the gap width between the forend and the frame in the closed position and ensure reliable actuation of the trigger element through the recess in the locking plate. Since a gap of a few millimeters remains between the faceplate and the frame for each door, even in the closed state, it makes sense to provide this outer end section with this thickness in order to ensure that the triggering element can always engage in the striking plate. 4
Finally, it is a feature of the invention that for blocking the latch in the extended position at least one additional locking element is provided, which is actuable, for example via a lock cylinder. Thus, the accidental retraction of the bolt can be prevented by operating the pusher which acts on the push rod.
The present invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein
Figure 1 shows a schematic side view of a latch with retracted latch and withdrawn latch according to the invention;
Fig. 2 is a plan view of the cuff side of the lock in the position shown in Fig. 1,
FIG. 3 shows a view of the lock of FIG. 1 with the trap removed and the latch extended; FIG.
Fig. 4 is a plan view of the cuff side of the lock in the position shown in Fig. 3;
Fig. 5 shows a view of the lock of Fig. 1 with the trap withdrawn and the latch retracted,
Fig. 6 is a plan view of the cuff side of the lock in the position shown in Fig. 5;
Fig. 7 is a plan view of a triggering member and Fig. 8 shows a side view of a triggering element.
The lock shown in FIGS. 1 to 6 has a housing 1, which is shown open in the illustrations. On one side of the housing 1 is the face plate 2, which is provided with different openings for the case 3, the bolt 4, and the trigger element 5. The latch 3 can be retracted by a nut 7 and a door handle (not shown) attached thereto against the force of a spring. Another nut 7 is further a driver 14, which engages in a corresponding opening 15 in the push rod 6, whereby the push rod can be moved by means of the door handle via the nut 7 in the unlocked upper position. The push rod 7 is further connected via a slotted guide 20 with the bolt 4, whereby this can be pushed out or withdrawn upon movement of the push rod 5. In addition, a recess 8 for receiving a lock cylinder is provided, which actuates a locking element 9, which can block the latch 4 in its extended position.
In Figs. 1 and 2, the lock is shown in the position in which the nut 7 is in the neutral position, the latch 3 has been extended and the latch 4 is in the retracted position. A trigger element 5 has at its inner end portion 11 a projection 16 which projects into the path of movement of the push rod 6 and prevents it from moving downwards. The trigger element 5 extends through the face plate 2, the outer end portion 10 being designed as a two-armed lever. In the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the trigger element 5 is in its initial position, in which position the two lever arms 12, 13 are pivoted in the direction of the respective cuff side edge 21, 22. The upper lever arm 12 is the first Stulpseitenkante 21 and the lower lever arm 13 of the second Stulpseitenkante 22 inclined.
When the door is now closed, the outer end portion 10 of the trigger element 5 runs into a corresponding recess of the closing plate, whereby the trigger element is pivoted about its axis of rotation 18 perpendicular to the forend. Depending on how the door is hinged, either the upper lever arm 12 or the lower lever arm 13 strikes the rear wall of a corresponding recess in the strike plate and causes the pivoting element to pivot. As shown in Fig. 2, this corresponds to a counterclockwise rotation in both a left and right hinged door.
Once the door is fully closed, the trigger member assumes the position of Fig. 4, whereby the projection 16 of the inner end portion 11 is disengaged from the push rod 6 and the push rod biased by a spring towards the locking pitch can move downwardly. As a result, the latch 4 is pushed out of the push rod due to the guide cam 20 and assumes the position shown in FIG. 6
When the push rod 6 is moved back to the upper position by the door handle, both the latch and the latch are retracted and the trigger member can move back to the initial position where the projection 16 of the inner end portion 11 reenters the path of movement of the push rod 6 (Figs 6).
In Figs. 7 and 8, a triggering element is shown in detail view. At the inner end portion 11 is the projection 16 which blocks the push rod 6 in the upper position. Furthermore, a recess is provided in which the spring 17 is mounted, which biases the trigger element 5 against its initial position. The starting position is a one-sided stop of the movement path of the trigger element. 5
The outer end portion 10 is formed as a two-sided lever with two-point symmetrical lever arms 12,13. To guide the forend 2, a spacer portion 19 is provided.
The thickness of the outer end portion 10 of the trigger element 5 is dimensioned so that the gap width between the face plate 2 and frame in the closed position is bridged and a safe operation of the trigger element 5 is ensured by the strike plate.
