STOP MACHINE FOR SUPPORTING A TRAIL. The invention relates to a tamping machine for curbing a track, comprising a machine frame supported on two rail bogies and arranged between the rail bogies, track-mounted on a track and longitudinally slidably connected to the machine frame via a frame support, and a height-adjustable between the track and frame support Stopfaggregat and a track lift unit has. With this twistability a distortion and thus over-loading of the unit frame is reliably excluded, especially in the case of a poor track position.
