专利说明:

The invention relates to a mortar strip with mortar and a carrier for the mortar, according to the preamble of claim 1. Mortar is a mixture of a binder, such as lime or cement, water, aggregate such as sand, and any additives. Such a mixture is usually prepared as a ready-to-use mortar formulation, which is also referred to as dry mortar and has powdery consistency. After the addition of water, the mortar quickly hardens and, in a known manner, serves for the frictional connection of masonry masonry bricks in order to achieve a better stability of the masonry. The mortar is applied in a known manner by adding water shortly before processing and applied in layers to the bearing joint of a brick row. After placing another block of masonry, the mortar hardens and becomes part of the masonry composite.
Mixing the mortar with consistent quality and the application of the mortar in uniform layer thicknesses is a time-consuming and therefore costly work. To reduce this expense, therefore, mortar tapes were proposed in which powdered dry mortar is surrounded by a water-soluble sheath. The mortar tape is placed on a row of bricks and wetted with water. The water causes the decomposition of the water-soluble casing and subsequently reacts with the powdered dry mortar, which then hardens. However, such a design has the disadvantage that the water-soluble films required for it are comparatively expensive, thereby eliminating the cost advantage of the reduced working time. Further, when cutting the mortar tape to a desired length, the sheath " whereby powdered dry mortar emerges and not only causes contamination of the working area, but also reduces the adhesion of the mortar strip in the cut end area by the loss of mortar. In addition, since wetting of the mortar tape with water is usually done only after laying the mortar tape on the topmost brick row, there is a danger that if the amount of water is insufficient, the lower side of the water-soluble sheet will be incompletely dissolved and severe weakening of the frictional connection will occur in these areas. The wetting with water is also to be carried out with great care, since the water runs off the film when the coating is applied quickly, or powdered dry mortar is flushed out of the storage joint.
It is therefore the object of the invention to simplify the erection of masonry and to reduce the required working time and the cost thereof. Furthermore, the use of raw materials is to be reduced and waste accumulation reduced.
These objects are achieved by the features of claim 1. Claim 1 proposes a mortar strip with mortar and a carrier for the mortar, according to the invention provided that the carrier is designed as a flexible, band-shaped carrier with a mesh or open-pore surface, wherein the mesh or pores of the band-shaped carrier form entry and / or through openings for the mortar and the mortar forms with the mesh or pores of the carrier a mortar layer exposed to both sides of the band-shaped carrier, which penetrates the carrier.
According to the invention, it is thus proposed to bind the mortar in the mesh or pores of a belt-shaped carrier so that it forms a mortar layer together with the carrier. The required consistency of the mortar can be achieved without the addition of water by the use of alternative solvents known in the art are to be produced. Through the use of such waterless solvents, such as a suitable alcohol, the initially dry and mostly powdery mortar, a doughy or. pasty consistency can be awarded. In this form, the mortar may be applied to a support according to the invention. The mortar, however, requires a suitable support for which according to the invention a flexible, belt-shaped or open-pored belt-shaped support is proposed, wherein the mesh or pores of the belt-shaped support form entry and / or passage openings for the mortar. After a short drying time, the dried mortar adheres to the mesh or pores of the backing and forms a layer of mortar with the mesh and pores of the backing. By suitable additives sufficient flexibility of the mortar band can be ensured, as will be explained in more detail.
The meshes may be those of a net-like carrier, or those of a woven or knitted fabric. Furthermore, within the scope of the invention, in addition to these sheet-like carriers, carriers with a relatively high strip thickness have also proven to be suitable, for example non-woven carriers. Carriers of this type have cavities which pass through the carrier and open in the surface. The surface of such supports is thus open-pored. In any event, the mesh or pores of the tape-shaped backing must be sized and shaped in accordance with the present invention to form entry and / or through-holes for the mortar. The mortar can thus pass through the carrier and be sufficiently fixed by it in this way to form, together with the meshes and pores of the carrier, a mortar layer exposed to both sides of the belt-shaped carrier, which penetrates the carrier.
The mortar tape according to the invention thus consists of a band-shaped carrier on which the first dough-shaped / pastösebzw. highly viscous mortar is applied. The preparation of such a mortar tape may be carried out by, for example, rolling or by spraying a mortar of this kind onto the carrier. Alternatively, the application can be carried out at a corresponding viscosity of the mortar suspension but also by means of dipping or extruding. Furthermore, the application could also be carried out by temporarily changing the rheological properties by causing the pasty mortar to vibrate in high frequency. Thereby, the pasty mortar described above becomes liquid and the application to the support can take place. After the vibrations have subsided, the mortar solidifies again.
Furthermore, an embodiment is proposed in which two flexible band-shaped supports are provided, between which the mortar is arranged, the mortar penetrating the flexible band-shaped support. Such an embodiment facilitates the manufacture of the mortar tape, since, for example, adhesion of the initially pasty mortar to transport rollers and the like can be reduced. The two carriers can subsequently also be joined together in the region of their longitudinal edges in order to prevent lateral leakage of the mortar. After the mortar has dried, the mortar firmly bonds to the carrier material.
Preferably, the backing is made of a biodegradable material, such as cotton, to facilitate the disposal of unused grout tape or processed mortar tapes after masonry demolition.
In order to facilitate the storage and transport of the mortar tapes according to the invention, it is further proposed that the carrier with the mortar be wound up into a roll enveloped by an air and / or water-impermeable packaging. This roll-shaped arrangement saves on the one hand space, but is also suitable for material-saving envelope with an air and / or splash-proof packaging. Such air and / or splash-proof packaging also allows for longer shelf life without compromising the quality of the mortar tape by introducing moisture. It is also advantageous for the layered mortar to have notches perpendicular to the longitudinal edges of the belt-shaped carrier. Such a design facilitates roll-shaped winding and reduces the pressure on the layer of mortar in the direction of the winding.
The invention will be explained in more detail hereinafter by means of exemplary embodiments with the aid of the attached drawings. It show here the
Fig. 1 is a schematic sectional view of a first
Embodiment of a mortar strip according to the invention,
Fig. 2 is a schematic sectional view of another embodiment of a mortar tape according to the invention, and Figs
Fig. 3 shows the arrangement of the mortar tape according to the invention in the use.
Fig. 1 shows a mortar tape 1 with a carrier 3 and the applied mortar 2, which forms a mortar layer exposed on both sides of the belt-shaped carrier 3, which penetrates the carrier 3 and thus forms a first mortar layer surface 2a and a second mortar layer surface 2b. When applying the first pasty mortar 2 in the course of the preparation of the mortar tape shown by spraying or rolling, or by alternative methods such as dipping, extrusion or Hochfrequenzvibrationsverfahren the mortar 2 penetrates into the pores or meshes of the support 3 and remain stuck due to its high viscosity in them he intersperses the carrier3. The order may be one or both sides follow, because even with one-sided order due to the mesh or pore size of the carrier 3 pasty mortar 2 the carrier 3 passes through and also reaches the respective opposite side of the band-shaped carrier 3. Such a mortar tape 1 may be wound up in the form of a roll and provided with an air and / or splash-proof packaging for transport and storage.
The mortar 2. usually corresponds to conventional
Compositions and is mixed to form a pasty mass with a solvent and additives, but it is not water to prevent hardening of the mortar 2. As a solvent can be about one
Mixture of an alcohol with a suitable additive such as cellulose ethers are used. The additive ensures sufficient solidification and flexibility of the post-mortar layer dried. The amount of solvent added depends on the desired viscosity of the pasty mortar 2, which in turn is determined by the selected support 3 and the size and shape of its meshes. Pore is determined, and by the nature of the processing of the mortar and its application to the carrier 3 by rolling, spraying, extruding or other methods such as dipping or Hochfrequenzvibrationsverfahren.
Fig. 2 shows a further embodiment of a mortar tape 1 according to the invention with mortar 2 arranged between two tape-shaped supports 3a and 3b, the mortar 2 penetrating the flexible strip-shaped supports 3a, 3b. The two straps 3a and 3b are a fabric whose meshes form through openings and are made of cotton approximately. Of course, however, other suitably suitable woven or knitted fabrics, such as of plastic, or a nonwoven may be used. When applying the initially pasty mortar 2 by rolling, spraying, extruding or other methods such as dip or Hochfrequenzvibrationsverfahren the mortar 2 fills because of its, depending on the application process viscosity and adheres to the meshes, passing through the two supports 3a and 3b. The embodiments relating to the mortar 2 to Fig. 1 also apply to the embodiment according to Fig. 2. Furthermore, Figs. 1 and 2 are to be understood so that the mortar 2 penetrates the support 3 and the two supports 3a, 3b and one to both The belt-shaped carrier 3 forms an exposed mortar layer having a first, exposed mortar layer surface 2a and a second, exposed mortar layer surface 2b.
Fig. 3 shows a section of masonry with masonry blocks 4 and the arrangement of a mortar tape 1 according to the invention. The mortar tape 1 according to the invention is laid on the currently uppermost brick row in the course of the erection of the masonry and can be cut to size as desired. The preferably transversely grooved, dry and flexible mortar tape 1 is otherwise ready for use immediately after being laid on. In the case of wetting the mortar tape 1 with water, direct water contact is made with the mortar 2 of the mortar layer exposed to both sides of the belt-shaped carrier 3 by permeating the mortar belt 1 from top to bottom so that the curing reaction is instantly started without previously dissolving a water-soluble protective film or the like require. Since the mortar 2 firmly adheres in the meshes or pores of the support 3, it can not be flushed out of the storage joint in the course of wetting with water. The construction of the masonry in this way is considerably simplified, so that the required working time and the cost thereof to reduce.
