To generate a desired light distribution in the area in front of and behind a vehicle, a light module for a vehicle headlight or a vehicle headlight has one or more light sources and one or more light-shaping bodies, for example one or more reflectors. Light emerging from the light source is radiated by such a reflector as a desired light image in an area in front of the vehicle, in which the vehicle headlamp is installed.
In order to be able to produce an optimal and especially law-compliant light image, the exact positioning of the light source in relation to the reflector is of particular importance. For example, when using LED light sources having one or more light-emitting elements as light-emitting elements, the deviations from the target position may only be in the 1/10 mm range, i. Reflector and LED light source (s) must be positioned extremely accurately to each other.

This object is achieved with a light module mentioned in the introduction in that according to the invention the carrier plate has one or more reference positions for referencing a light-shaping body, for example for referencing a reflector, and wherein the light-shaping body has a mounting base, by means of which mounting base of the light-shaping body at least a reference position of the carrier plate can be referenced.
It can be provided with advantage that the mounting base is associated with at least one return element, by means of which the mounting base is at least temporarily fastened in its reference position with respect to the support plate.
The reference positions can be applied, for example, after the positioning of the at least one light source on the carrier plate, so that the light-shaping body can be positioned by aligning at these reference positions as accurately as possible with respect to the at least one light source.
However, it may also be provided that initially the reference positions are attached to the carrier plate and then, depending on their exact location, the at least one light source is mounted on the carrier plate.
The light-shaping body can be positioned in these reference positions exactly to the at least one light source and is held by means of the at least one restoring element at least temporarily, until its final fixation in this position.
In order to ensure a good heat transfer from the carrier plate to the heat sink, the carrier plate is advantageously glued to the heat sink.
In a specific embodiment, in which an exact positioning of the light-shaping body is particularly important, it is provided that the at least one light source is an LED light source having one or more light emitting diodes, and that the carrier plate is a printed circuit board (LED print) for which at least one LED light source is. In a specific embodiment of the light module according to the invention it is provided that the at least one restoring element in the reference position of the mounting base and thus in the reference position of the reflector is biased between the mounting base and a stop region of the heat sink, such that the mounting base in its reference position with respect is held on the carrier plate.
Advantageously, it is provided that at least one, preferably two fastening elements for fastening the mounting base is provided on the heat sink / are.

This creates a stable, exact and, if necessary, releasable attachment of the light-shaping body with respect to the at least one light source.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the restoring element comprises at least one spring element. These one or more springs (such as compression springs) hold the light-shaping body in its reference position until it is fixed with the fasteners.
Easy to assemble and stable, it is when the at least one spring element is formed integrally with the mounting base. For an exact positioning of the light-shaping body, it is advantageous if the reference positions are arranged with respect to the geometric center of the at least one light source or on the brightest area of the at least one light source on the carrier plate.
These areas can be determined, for example, with a camera.
Furthermore, it is provided in concrete embodiments that the one or more reference positions in the form of one or more holes, such as slots, and / or in the form of one or more, preferably rectilinear reference edges is formed. 4/20 -4- P12720

The reference positions can basically be in the form of webs, bores, contact surfaces or contact surfaces, oblong holes, stops, etc.
Depending on the application and design of the light-shaping body, the appropriate reference surface / edge / hole is created, which brings the light-shaping body in a well-defined position. An oblong hole serves, for example, to prevent the light-shaping body from being displaced laterally (left / right), while, for example, edges limit the movement of the light-shaping body in a specific direction, for example in the direction of the light source.
Finally, it is provided in a specific embodiment of the invention that the heat sink has two sections, which are preferably perpendicular to each other, and wherein the support plate is disposed on one of the sections. Preferably, the stop area for the return element is attached to one of the two sections, preferably to both sections, e.g. he is integrally formed with this or these sections.

FIG. 1 shows a carrier plate 3, here a printed circuit board (LED print), on which a light source 2 is mounted.
In the variant shown, the light source 2 is an LED light source, which has two light-emitting diodes here. Accordingly, as already mentioned above, the support plate 3 is a printed circuit board for the LED light source 2. Preferably, the LED light source 2 is soldered to the circuit board 3.
Furthermore, the carrier plate 3 has a plurality of reference positions 4 for a reflector 1, wherein the position of the reference positions 4 depends on the position of the LED light source 2.
For this purpose, for example, the geometric center of the LED light source 2 or the brightest area of the LED light source 2, for example, determined with a camera, and arranging the reference positions is then preferably taking into account the geometric center of the LED light source 2 or the brightest area of LED light source 2.
In the example shown, the reference positions 4 are an oblong hole 4a which is open on one side and two rectilinear reference edges or reference planes 4b. The reference positions 4 are for example drilled, milled or otherwise manufactured.

At the reference positions 4, the reflector 1 is referenced, i. aligned and positioned on the support plate 3, as shown in Figures 5-8 from different views.
As can also be clearly seen in FIGS. 3 and 4, the reflector 1 has, in the illustrated embodiment, a mounting base 1 'which corresponds to the corresponding formations corresponding to the reference positions 4 a, 4 b, for example an extension 1 a, which is arranged in the slot 4a, and of base surfaces or base levels lb, which come to rest against the reference surfaces 4b of the support plate 3, is equipped.
In FIGS. 5 and 6, the referencing of the reflector or of the reflector base 1 'on the reference surfaces 4b with its sections 1b can be clearly seen, while FIGS. 5 and 6 show how the reflector 1 or the base 1' with the extension la is positioned in the slot 4a.
In this way, the reflector 1 is positioned in the desired position with respect to the arranged on the support plate 3 LED light source 1 on the support plate 3 and is fixed to the support plate 3 and with respect to the support plate 3, as described below is.
Due to the reference positions 4a, 4b, the reflector 1 assumes the desired position. The heat sink 6, which is also shown in Figure 2, has two sections 6a, 6a ', which are perpendicular to each other. The support plate 3 is arranged on one of the two sections 6a, for example bonded thereto. Furthermore, the heat sink 6 has a stop region 6b for the restoring element 7, which stop region 6b is formed, for example, in one piece with the two sections 6a, 6a '.
When positioning the reflector 1, the return element 7 abuts against the abutment portion 6b and is compressed, i. the return element 7 is biased between the portion 6b and the mounting base 1 ', so that the mounting base 1' in the reference positions 4a, 4b is pressed. In this way, the reflector 1 is held at least temporarily in this position.
The return element 7 is preferably, as shown, integrally connected to the reflector 1, in particular with its mounting base 1 '.
For permanent (but possibly detachable) attachment of the reflector 1 is provided that the reflector 1 with two fasteners 8 on the heat sink 6 (in the example shown on section 6a of the heat sink 6, to which the support plate 3 is attached), is attached.
